Tomomi Watanabe vs Cassie Elliot

After delivering that big boot to Cassie's face, Tomomi pulled herself up to a sitting position using the middle ropes. She took a deep breath. Finally Cassie was not all over her, torturing her joints and twisting her body. She had to make sure Cassie wouldn't want to get close to her again. But it seemed she wasn't being prickly enough.

"Oh no," Tomomi said as Cassie suddenly came running back at her. This recklessness was nothing like Cassie, it honestly felt more like Taylor. Tomomi was going to punish her for this. She was standing now, but Tomomi thought quickly and came up with a plan. When Cassie got close, she quickly dropped down to her butt, reaching up to grab the middle rope and pulling it down to expose a large gap. She kicked her legs out and tried to hit Cassie's ankles to trip her up and send her flying through the gap so she hit the outside of the ring with a splat!

Cassie tried to put the brakes on at the last second when Tomomi moved, but she had too much momentum. Tomomi kicked Cassie's feet out from under her and she fell face-first into the ropes, with her arms draped over the middle rope. She shook her head and tried to right herself before Tomomi could get the jump on her again. In that close, but without having her hands on the pink-haired idol, she knew she was in danger.

Tomomi was hoping to send Cassie flying out of the ring, but her opponent seemed to have slowed herself down enough to only fall over the middle ropes. Tomomi quickly let go of the middle rope to use it to bounce Cassie upwards and maybe hurt her neck, hoping to disorient her while the idol got to her feet.

"I got you now," Tomomi said. Her voice was a little shaky from exertion. She reached down to grab Cassie's legs, pulling her away from the ropes. If she was successful and Cassie too disoriented to fight back, Tomomi would step on Cassie's thighs while trying to tuck Cassie's shins against her own, reaching down to grab Cassie's arms before leaning back and pushing her into a Romero Special ceiling hold!

Cassie was flung back from the ropes and landed on her butt, sitting between her feet and almost kneeling. She shook her head, but before she knew it Tomomi jerked her legs out from under her, and she flopped face first on the mat. She grabbed for the ropes, but they were just out of reach. When she felt Tomomi step on her thighs, she knew she was in trouble.

She immediately tried to tuck her arms against her chest, but wasn't quick enough. She screamed as Tomomi pulled her back and pushed her up into the air. Her legs and her back strained, but her shoulders were agony, like they would pop at any second. She struggled, trying desperately to resist the pain and stay calm while she worked to free a wrist.

Mamouru pounded the apron when he saw Cassie pulled into the ceiling hold. Put on display by the spunky idol was something that was both thrilling and infuriating. But his managerial instincts took over and he beat the mat like he hated it. "Cassie-san!" He shouted. "Find a way to get out of that hold! You're better than this!" He tried to encourage. He knew she was.

Successfully pulling Cassie into the ceiling hold gave Tomomi a lot of hope, as there were few submission holds that were more difficult to get out of than this. Even though it was taxing to keep Cassie hoisted above her like that for a long time, Tomomi hoped to put enough pressure on her that she would give in quickly. She wondered just how much pain Cassie's body could take before she gave in. She didn't expect it to be that much, but she knew not to underestimate Cassie any more. This girl had gotten a lot stronger than when they last fought.

Mamoru pounding on the mats distracted Tomomi slightly, especially since they were close to the edge of the ring and Mamoru was almost close enough to reach them. "Hey ref, make sure he stays back!" she shouted to the referee to make sure Mamoru did not interfere. Tomoi began tightening the hold, pushing up higher while trying to bring Cassie's arms closer to her legs to put a ton of pressure on her back. Tomomi's grip was slipping somewhat due to sweat on her palms, but she didn't notice it yet. She was distracted by Mamoru and too elated at this amazing chance to win.

Cassie latched onto the sound of Mamouru's voice. It gave her something to focus on instead of the pain, and while she labored to take even breaths and remain calm, she twisted one wrist back and forth. She felt Tomomi's slick sweaty palm, and if she could just disrupt her balance enough she'd be free, though she'd only find herself in a new bad situation, but she'd deal with that when she could. For now, the awful pain in her back, her shoulders, her legs was almost too much.

Then the pain intensified as Tomomi tightened the hold. "Nyaaaaha!" Cassie wailed. Tomomi had to get tired, she had to get free, something had to give. She told herself over and over to hold out and to be ready when she was finally free.

Tomomi thought she had Cassie now. She bent the girl's back horribly, putting extreme pressure on her shoulders and spine to put the girl in a world of pain. The hold was taking its toll though, as Cassie was the same weight as Tomomi and holding her up in this position was quite taxing to the idol. Underneath the hot ring lights, and after fighting for so long, Tomomi was sore and quite sweaty. Her palms were getting more and more slippery. Tomomi gritted her teeth and pushed a bit more, hoping Cassie would give in.

But the little Canadian proved quite tough, holding out even after she started screaming in pain. And she was still struggling in Tomomi's grip. The idol was too focused on putting more pressure on Cassie now, getting tunnel vision as she disregarded everything else. She didn't notice how slippery her grip was until it was too late, when Cassie twisted to the side and suddenly her wrist slipped out of Tomomi's hand!

"No!" Tomomi gasped. She lost her grip, and thus her hold. She couldn't keep Cassie balanced on top of her on only three points, and so she tipped over to the side, dropping the girl onto the mat! Tomomi beat the mat in frustration. She was so close!

But even though Tomomi was tired she knew Cassie was in a lot more pain. Tomomi got up, crawling over to Cassie's fallen form, reaching out to grab the girl's shoulder and push her onto her front. The idol moved to try and mount Cassie's back to keep up the pressure and try a different submission, if Cassie didn't fight back that is.

Cassie collapsed onto the mat in a heap, hugging her arms against her chest. She couldn't move right away, except to roll gently back and forth in pain. When Tomomi pushed her onto her stomach, she had the presence of mind to turtle up, pulling her knees and elbows under her body and putting her forehead on the mat. For the moment there was not much else she could do beyond hope that she recovered before Tomomi followed up with something worse.

The way Cassie turtled up made it really annoying for Tomomi, who couldn't grab her arms or her legs without reaching around and exposing herself. So Tomomi decided to grab the only part she could, Cassie's hair. "Sorry," she said to Cassie before pulling up hard on Cassie's hair, trying to lift her head up. Tomomi wanted to lift Cassie's head high enough so that she could quickly wrap an arm around the girl's slim neck and lock down tight with a rear naked choke. She didn't think Cassie wanted much more punishment, so she decided to try and end this match right now!
