Tomomi Watanabe vs Cassie Elliot

Cassie grimaced while she tried to adjust her body to the changing angles as Tomomi rolled over her shoulder. It quickly became clear that she just wasn't going to be able to keep it, and she didn't waste time trying to get it back.

Instead, once Tomomi had planted a foot on the mat Cassie hooked an arm around her leg and gave it a yank while kicked at Tomomi's other knee to bring her back down. She tucked Tomomi's foot tightly under her arm, wrapped a leg around her's, braced her arm against Tomomi's heel, and pulled.

Bending her foot around, and with it her knee, she knew would get very painful very quickly for the scrappier girl, and Cassie knew she had to take some of her spunk away if she was ever going to make it out of the match without a concussion.

Tomomi broke the armbar with her move, but Cassie responded far quicker than Tomomi had expected. The second the idol had planted her feet against the ground, Cassie suddenly reached out and grabbed Tomomi'a ankle and yanked hard while her soft boots collided with Tomomi's other leg, sending Tomomi crashing onto her back once more with a cry of surprise and pain. The fiesty Canadian redhead was all over Tomomi in an instant. The idol barely had time to register what was going on before Cassie pulled back on her leg hard, making her scream out in pain as her ankle and knee got hyperextended painfully. Tomomi kicked against the mat, struggling to break free. Her arm felt numb after being pushed through Cassie's submissions, and she didn't want her leg to be so damaged as well.

"Get off!" Tomomi said, using her free leg to kick at Cassie's body desperately, trying to hit her wherever possible to make her let go.

"Only after you tap." Cassie said flatly. There would be plenty of time to talk later, but there was a very special kind of focus that any good submission artist got when a submission was within reach. Cassie's concentration would not even waver if someone parked an ice cream truck in the ring right next to her.

She found the angles, used her legs to lock down Tomomi's leg, and clasped her hands tightly together while she twisted. She put her whole body into it. Tomomi's kicks hurt when they smacked into her stomach, but her arms protected her upper body and she leaned her head back just in case. This was the moment where Tomomi realized how out of her league Cassie was. She'd regret ever letting Cassie get her hands on her.

Tomomi couldn't get Cassie to release her leg no matter how much she kicked. Granted, she couldn't land a clean hit due to Cassie's position. She was pretty much just pushing against Cassie's stomach at this point, unable to fully uncurl her leg to properly kick Cassie. The idol grit her teeth, gasping in pain when Cassie put her entire body into twisting her leg horribly. She knew her leg was taking much more damage than she wanted, and given how bad her arm felt, she could only expect worse from her leg. The idol bit her lip to stifle a cry of pain. Cassie was merciless.

"Y-you underestimate me Cassie!" Tomomi said in a soft voice under her breath. She began pushing with her arms, trying to drag the both of them towards the ropes so she could get a rope break.

Cassie tried bracing the sole of her boot against the mat for traction to slow Tomomi's advance toward the ropes, but the idol was steadily inching her way to safety. With the ropes nearby, Cassie decided not to wait until the ref forced a clean break.

She stood up, holding on to Tomomi's ankle, and whipped the idol's leg to the side to roll her over. She cocked an elbow and jumped, dropping the point of her elbow into the inside of Tomomi's knee as she dropped to the mat.

"I think you're underestimating me a little, too." Cassie huffed.

Tomomi was strong enough to drag herself over to the ropes, even though Cassie did her best to hole her back and keep on torturing her leg. She grit her teeth as she dragged herself over, biting back whimpers of pain from Cassie's deadly hold. As they got close to the ropes though, Cassie suddenly let her go. The relief from not having her leg so tortured washed over Tomomi and the idol let out a small sigh of relief. But she wasn't out of trouble yet.

"Ah!" Tomomi gasped when Cassie suddenly flipped her over onto her back. She saw what Cassie was setting up for, knowing that her damaged leg would be totally crippled if Cassie landed a big hit. Luckily an elbow drop took a lot longer than just stomping, giving Tomomi time to react. The idol quickly try to grab the ropes and pull herself out of Cassie's range, so she landed on the mat instead of Tomomi's knee.

"I was underestimating you," Tomomi said, "I thought you would go down after a few hits. You're strong now Cassie."

Tomomi jerked her leg out of Cassie's hand and spun her so that she landed on her back with a splat. Her face hardened again, and she was expressionless except for a hint of concern across her brow. She scrambled to her feet and lunged at Tomomi, reaching down to grab her ankles and pull her away from the ropes.

Mamouru pounded the mat as he watched the last exchange. "Don't let the little things trip you up, Cassie-san!" He encouraged. "You're in control!"

Tomomi wanted to keep Cassie away as mush as possible, which was proving quite difficult as Cassie tried to stick to her like glue. She gasped when Cassie grabbed her ankles and tried to pull her away from the ropes she was gripping onto tightly. Cassie did not want to give her any chances. And across the ring Mamoru was slamming the mats and shouting encouragement at his ward. Tomomi had to stop her.

"Get off!" Tomomi grunted, attempting to rip her ankle out of Cassie's grip and plant a big boot in the girl's face. She wasn't going easy on Cassie any more. If grapples and submissions wouldn't work, Tomomi would simply outmuscle Cassie and beat her senseless!

Cassie's hand slipped and Tomomi jerked one ankle free. She panicked, and tried to catch it again but she dove forward and took Tomomi's boot square in the face. The impact sent her reeling.

She stumbled on unsteady legs halfway to the far ropes before her brain restarted and she got her bearings. She turned around to find Tomomi again and threw herself into a run. She had to catch her before she could get away. She needed to keep her advantage.
