Match For Max.

Thu Jan 19, 2017 5:52 pm by Scarf

Just wondering if I could get something going for my newest Friction wrestler.
If anybody finds themselves interested or has any possible ideas for the future don't hesitate to hit me up, I'd be happy to hear from you.

Inconsistent posting

Mon Jan 16, 2017 8:53 pm by RJD

I have stuff coming up in the next couple of weeks and will not be able to post anywhere near as often as usual/before. To be honest this has already been showing it's effects lately but it will do so even more from now on. I'll prioritise my Avalanche match and multi character matches but other than that I'll respond probably once every few days, I'll try not to leave anyone hanging though.

Looking for Friction matches!

Sun Jan 15, 2017 2:07 am by tehbohemian

Hey everybody just posting a notice I have 2 wrestlers that could use some love!

Shinobu just got out of her match and I'm looking for some wins or losses to add to her record, she is a serious fighter and is looking for more straight forward fights, she could be a good match up against other "martial artist" type characters looking for a challenge or she could stand up to a violent heel, anything works.

Sonic is also up for matches, people familiar with Ring Dream or Wrestle Angels should …

New here and seeking advice

Post by Freiheit on Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:04 am

Hey all,

I'm not new to PBP but it has been a long time since I've done it. I signed up looking for a change of pace, and wrestling Rp is something I've never really tried. I'm not too 'experienced' to look for a bit of advice though. I've read over the rules for BIO submission and while they were pretty clear they didn't hit all my questions, I haven't had time to hit the other rules yet so I thought I'd post some questions real quick.

1. I am presuming we're pretty much Human to Human Plus power level? that means no Really over the top street fighter moves (I.e. Fireball, Yoga teleport etc.) Am I right? Does this also rule out non human type characters? I'm not actually looking to play anything too weird, just trying to get a feel for what is acceptable.

2. Are we permitted tag team characters? I'm not looking to start a whole stable or anything but there is some appeal to the creepy/sexy anime twins or masked combatants idea.

3. Are we restricted to a national theme of wrestling styles? Or can I bust out my Pankration Oil Wrestling vs your Chin Na Gung fu grapples?

Thats all for now. Working on Character ideas and I hope to measure up. <img src=" title="Smile" />

bug the monitor or kelsa lol thats what i do hahah

but fur and feather roster are for super power stuff while tension and fiction are for just reg wrestling stuff i beleive lol not good at explaining things, but yeah if you want creatures or super powers fur and feather roster male vs female stuff tension that rules out fiction as female vs female .

i beleive we can have tag teams but i never tried it though so im not sure about that subject lol

its a wreslting forum yes and i think you can have other things but not sure like i said bug the big boys that have green red or purple on there names lol red being the top dog green being second incharge and purple being those that been her for a way long ass time lol but keep looking at the rules and FAQs as wells it helps lol

Maybe you should read the rest of the rules >.>
but-

1. Fur and feathers as dragonswill said, fur and feathers allow you to make characters thatare not human or are humans that have ridiculous powers. The Alternative arena alsooffers the same lack of restrictions. But the Alt arena is used more for testing, one-off matches and death matches, etc. Also there's no league or belts in Alt like there is in Fur N Feathers.

Also, also, catgirls are allowed in normal Friction/Tension as long as they have no other distinctions from humans. (it's not encouraged thoug)

2. Of course Tag Teams are allowed as long as they meet the restricitons above

3. Lots of girls have lots of styles of martial arts and can fight anyway you like. But if you have an oil wrestler and want to have them be able to actuallu us the oil, you have ti ask the opponent if they will allow it.

if you have any other questions, don't be afraid to ask! ^___________-^

Also, red the rest of the rules >.>

[quote="Freiheit":1akvqblm]Hey all,

Hello ^_^

I'm not new to PBP but it has been a long time since I've done it. I signed up looking for a change of pace, and wrestling Rp is something I've never really tried. I'm not too 'experienced' to look for a bit of advice though. I've read over the rules for BIO submission and while they were pretty clear they didn't hit all my questions, I haven't had time to hit the other rules yet so I thought I'd post some questions real quick.

Ok, shoot.

AFW is divided in several forums. Friction, Tension and Fur&Feathers/Alternative. Friction is for female vs female wrestling. Tension is for mixed wrestling. Those two forums are ONLY for human characters with HUMAN capabilities. No hadokens, no chi focus, not over 9000, no BULLSHIT!!!!

Furs&Feathers/Alternative forum has no such limitations and you can be what ever you want and have any powers you want.

Post your bio and if the mods find any super-power hidden they will make you correct it... And you'll be mocked mercilessly by the comunity. No joking, has happened.

2. Are we permitted tag team characters? I'm not looking to start a whole stable or anything but there is some appeal to the creepy/sexy anime twins or masked combatants idea.

Yes. You are permitted.

3. Are we restricted to a national theme of wrestling styles? Or can I bust out my Pankration Oil Wrestling vs your Chin Na Gung fu grapples?

AFW is a PRO wrestling federation. That means that the main focus is in Pro Wrestling or puroresu. But that doesn't means you can't have your character practicing some weird martial art. Just keep in mind that the matches are done with pro wrestling rules. Bringing a girl that fights in Chin Na Gung I Just Made Up That Stupid Name Fu is going to raise some eyebrows but is not necesarily forbiden.

Thats all for now. Working on Character ideas and I hope to measure up. <img src=" title="Smile" />

Welcome and have fun

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.

Also for Freiheit.

Hint: Avoid the 'pressure points' bullshit. It is frown upon by mature roleplayers.

Roffle; well played, well played.

As for the rest well we're going to have to agree to disagree. But that is neither here nor there as my character idea doesn't even use kung fu <img src=" title="Wink" />

Avoid trying to find any tricks and loopholes that force the other person to write as if your character is obviously a superior being when there's no reason for them to be. Real people don't have 'power levels' like crazy animitacularicity. Of course, if that's your bag, that's fine, but do it in the right area and with the right people.

Also, dragonswill, why is your sig like 3 pages long?

Make them SMALLER.
