The Bottom of the Barrel

Lukretia sighed again. Frankly she wanted to just lash out at the two and tell them how worthless they really were. "You can't expect to vin vithout real training. No vonder you've been falling short. You have ze best training partner you could vant und yet you refuse to use her, vhy? Do you really think zat sparring is ze same as fighting?

"....Huh? Isnt it.... the same thing?" Cheryl suddenly lifted her head and curiously asked Lukretia, now starting to doubt. Isnt sparring just another match but without consequences to an official level? At least, that's what both Cheryl and Isabella believed. Not that they were really smart either. Now they wanted to know what Lukretia's idea of sparring was.

"Ven you fight... you are trying to hurt each other, right?" She said. "Or at least decide who is better by achieving victory? Ven you spar, you are only practicing. Ze outcome doesn't matter und you are only trying to train und practice. To find out vat your veaknessess are so you can improve zem." She rubbed her temples with her hand. These two... were hopeless.

"I... think I understand a little." Cheryl said, starting to see the difference between a match and a spar. It had been about 10 minutes since they left the ring, and now Isabella was quite better. She sat up and looked at Lukretia. Cheryl slapped her back softly and stood up. "Alright. I think we're leaving now. Will you contact us again?" The little girl said as she offered Isabella a hand to stand up.

"I vill keep in touch." Lukretia said smiling. "I am your manager after all. Just remember everything I have told you und everything you have experienced today. If you take it to heart und really understand it zen you vill definitely have a chance ven your title fight comes."

"Alright then! We'll be waiting for your call." Cheryl said before bending over to say goodbye to Lukretia in a japanese way. After that, she lead her sister out of the place as she was the only one who remembered how the hell they reached that place. The girls were really, really excited. They were really going to have a shot for the tag team title! They were going to make their mother so proud of them, wherever she is.
