Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Violet Clarkson

Gabbie felt that Vi was barely conscious. She could feel the soft rise of her chest against her and how loose the leg was in her grip. She felt like she could have let go of it and it wouldn't have made a difference.

"THREE!"

Gabbie rolled off of Vi and sat up onto her knees as the crowd roared. There was a small smile on her face as she ran her fingers through her hair and slowly stood up, testing her ankle before leaning on her other leg and letting her arm get raised by the ref.

The Brit limply laid there after the three count, the referee girl waving in front of her eyes. The image of the referee seemed to spin around in her head. "Bloody hell..." she finally muttered, her blurry vision barely registering. She could hear the music in the arena and it told her that she had lost. But she couldn't feel bad about it just yet.

She felt sick. Nauseous. And her jaw was throbbing with pain. The sensory overload was too much for the dizzy girl. But at the very least, she seemed okay enough that the ref was comfortable not calling the medical staff.

Once the referee let her hand go and her music began to play, Gabbie soaked in the cheers for a moment with a rosy cheeked smile. She then turned and looked at Vi, seeing the Brit was still disoriented.

Gabbie took a few steps toward her and then held out her hand, offering to help her up. "Hey..." She muttered shyly. "It was a good match." Gabbie tried not to take things personally once the match was over and she hoped it would be the same for Vi.

The downed blonde panted in pain and exhaustion as she laid there trying to regain her bearings. It was hard not to realize she had just lost to an annoying little Canadian girl. She still wasn't even entirely sure what had happened. Was it a kick or something?

And she wasn't about to be a good sport about it. She had Gabbie against the ropes. And then out of nowhere she suddenly lost. It was frustrating and embarrassing all the same. Gabbie made had been acting like a good sport. But Vi saw right through her smug bullshit face.

"Piss off you little shit."

Gabbie wasn't surprised that her sportsmanship was rejected, but it still didn't feel good. She knew that she didn't like losing, but he had never really experienced it before. Her only loss in the league so far was from a cheater. However, she was determined not to end up like Vi who couldn't seem to handle the fact that they lost to a better athlete.

"Fine." Gabbie said, letting her hand drop. "See ya." She added coldly as she turned. She left the ring with a sour look on her face despite having just won the match in what she thought was impressive fashion.
