Syd Vs. Eka Guramishvili

Syd advanced on Eka, until the girl's kick knocked her back a step. She glanced up at Allie, and then her red eyes gleamed down at Eka.

Some of AFW's referees were battle-hardened veterans of the ring, staying close to the sport in their retirement. More often, they were models and would-be starlets, youngsters wanting to be seen. Fans, maybe, but a given Friction referee did not necessarily have the wherewithal or the courage to deal with conniving, combative, cheating Friction girls.

So while the count remained stuck at eight for the moment, Syd lunged at Eka and threw her knee into the girl's chest, to crush her between it and the ring behind her.

The knee slammed into Eka with full force and Eka cried out in pain. The metal behind her was unforgiving and the kneecap was sure to leave an impressive bruise tomorrow. Eka's concerns were much more directed into the present- a pair of red eyes flashed with malicious intent. She clutched the knee grinding into her and tried to push it off of her.

It was no use. Try as she might she couldn't rid herself of Syd. Not like that. Eka looked up and met Syd's peircing red eyes with her own watery blues. The Georgian did her best to conceal her pain and failed miserably.

Eka lashed out with her legs, trying to throw an impromptu sweep at Syd. If she wanted to fight outside the ring, fine. It was her opponent's turn to have a taste of the concrete.

Syd grabbed Eka's hair before Eka kicked at her legs, and it was only her hold on those glossy black locks that kept her up off the mat when she stumbled.

She fell to her knees, but pulled hard on Eka's hair to stay upright. She stood up, and yanked Eka back up as well, holding her in front with a fistful of her hair at the top of her head. She leaned down to look for her eyes before winding up with her free hand and delivering a hard slap across Eka's pretty face.

Eka was wondering if she should get a haircut. That, or stop fighting dirty wrestlers. Eka was brought up to her feet and a stinging slap made her turn her head. Syd's hand left a big red mark on the side of her face. But even worse was the complete disrespect it showed. Slapping and hairpulling was supposed to be for catfighters. And Eka was a wrestler.

The ravenhaired beauty turned back to Syd. Her opponent got to see the rage building in Eka's face. She wasn't usually an angry person but this girl had disrespected her time and time again. Eka cocked her arm back like Syd had done just a few seconds ago. Instead of a slap like the one Syd had just offered her she chose something a little bit more to the point. A fist flew at Syd's face like a rocket. Eka didn't even care that she was still holding her hair.

Allie had managed to distract the ref for about as long as she could. It seemed like Syd was taking advantage of things but she couldn't exactly turn her head.

After the threat of removal or disqualification, Allie threw her hands up in the air and flashed her prettiest, puppy dog smile.

She hopped off the apron, letting her big breasts jiggle as she turned to look at Syd. "Quit playing around with her out here, Syd! Get her back in the ring!"

"Ugh!"

Syd's head snapped back with the punch and she staggered away. She put a hand over her nose and shook her head, and when her glare returned it was markedly less intimidating, as if Eka's fist had broken the spell.

"Eight! Nine!" The referee resumed her count, more quickly now.

Syd bolted toward Eka again, except instead of attacking the girl she dove to the side, onto the ring apron and under the bottom rope. She quickly got to her feet in the ring.

Eka had her hands up. She was ready to fend off whatever counter attack Syd had cooked up for her only to be pleasantly surprised when her opponent dove into the ring. The ref was picking up the pace with the counting; it was high time Eka made her way back to the ring as well. She pushed herself up onto the mat and bounded over the ropes.

She landed on her feet and stared down Syd. Her anger had abated a little. A solid punch to the face was cathartic. Eka took a step forward and offered a clinch. It was time to return to her roots.

Syd was stone-faced as she stared down at her opponent. A small trickle of blood was visible just below her nose, that matched the color of her eyes. She waited for Eka to return to the ring, and moved in while the girl took her needlessly flashy entrance. By the time she turned to face her, Syd's kick was already on it's way.

The high roundhouse kick was aimed for Eka's face. Syd wanted to break her nose to pay her back. She wanted to break her face. She hoped it killed her.

As Eka landed she noticed her opponent's face. Her punch caused the tiniest trickle of blood. Syd's eyes seemed odd with their red manic glow. Eka moved forward to clinch her but the move was abruptly halted when Syd's heel slammed into Eka's eye socket.

Eka teetered back before crashing to the mat. Looking up, she wondered why the AFW arena had hazy spinning lights and why the fans roar was so dull. Eka was content that her eyes were still very much attached to her head and that she was still awake after such a devastating kick. The flashy entrance was dumb and she regretted it. With a groan she made a move to get up.

Allie clapped and then threw her hands in the air, shaking her upper torso in excitement as Eka crashed to the canvas. "Kick her head off, Syd!"
