Hm. Interesting choice, and I'm not quite sure how to take it. I'm curious to see how that works out, though.

Called that when they first revealed the power suit. I like it. I can't wait to see where this goes.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet:

I feel so weird about this movie.

Like, I know I should get hyped abot it, but I just...can't. For some reason. It's hard to explain.

...I have that exact same feeling. Maybe it's because Superman's pretty hard to put to live action. Actually, he kinda suffers in any non-comic, non-children's cartoon medium. And iono, shouldn't there have been two or three Batman x Superman movies before they started getting sick of each other and wanting to punch each other in the face? Feelings are complicated, man.

yeah, I thought the trailer was pretty silly myself.

I'll still see it, but WB is just doing everything they can to try and make it unappealing.

I didn't think it was POSSIBLE to screw up Batman VERSUS Superman, but they can't even get the title right.

The last Superman movie was pretty nice in my opinion, although a nearly complete rehash of Superman 2.

Maybe the trailer does not stick because it is too predictable?
The outcome from the trailer alone for me is probably this:
Superman is a public figure. Lex Luthor hates it and urges Batman(who has a bad feeling about Superman from the start) to stop or at least hinder Superman until he is ready for his real plan. To this end, he gives Batman the one thing that can surely defeat Superman, Kryptonite. They fight, draw or Batman wins, and go after Luthor.

Combine that with Ben Aflleck, the more than wooden, grim mirror of George Clooney Batman that outrageously won an oscar while Gary Oldman repeatedly did not, and voila, Batman vs. Superman.

I have no issues with Ben Affleck as batman. I have said it before and I will say it again. he was not the reason that Daredevil sucked.

He can do fine as a Superhero.

i actually kind of liked Daredevil. I mean, it wasn't a work of art or anything, but I don't think it was quite as bad as people make it out to be. There are MANY worse superhero movies.
