Akashi Tanikaze vs. Valley Doll - Pride and Prejudice

Valley had just started dreaming about getting back to her feet when Akashi moved in, grabbing her by the legs and putting her in a boston crab. It was hardly her first, but if she'd had it done by anyone with Akashi's size or strength, she couldn't remember for the life of her.

Her scream was even louder and longer this time, and it morphed into a fierce growl as she started clawing at the canvas, desperately trying to get to the ropes. The atomic drop was bad enough, but this was actually a serious problem. Her style began and ended with her legs, and if Akashi gave them serious damage, the match could only go downhill. Even if getting to the ropes was a vain hope, she had to try.

Akashi wrenched the hold tighter, leaning back with all her strength and sitting on Valley's butt. She could feel the Doll slowly begin to inch towards the ropes. Akashi really had no trouble if Valley made it as she slowly began to crab walk one inch at a time.

The way Akashi saw it, Valley Doll had two options: She could tap, which Akashi was fin with, or she could endure the crab the whole way tot he ropes. Akashi was fine with that too. It would probably feel like an eternity to the American.

Her back felt like it was going to split in half, her legs were getting stretched, and she had to fight for every single inch to the ropes, ignoring the jeers from the audience calling for her to just give up. She couldn't help but think back to her match with Alaina, where she'd advised her to give up rather than risk an injury, saving her career...but that had been later in the match, after they'd both gone at for a while. Valley didn't have a problem tapping, but she refused to let it happen that easy, especially not after everything she'd said to Ace. She was watching, Valley knew it, and if she didn't even last as long...

"Come on, come ooooooon." She swore, she could hear her bones cracking, but she kept up all the same. So close to the promised land, now. Just a little further...

Akashi watched as Valley was close to the ropes. She had inched the big Sumo along pretty well. Akashi was a little surprised but she wasn't going to sweat it. However, she knew what happened when a rope break was called. Valley would be able to stand up and get a few seconds to breath. Akashi decided that she didn't want that to happen.

The sumo released the crab and stood up. She spun around on her heels and just dropped her body down, looking to land an elbow backed by nearly two hundred pounds of weight onto Valley right at the edge of the ropes.

Valley could have kissed the ropes, she was so happy to grab them. She breathed the longest sigh of relief in her life and took in deep breaths as she let go, pressing her palms flat on the floor and pushing up. Her back still ached something awful and there was still a lot more pain to come, but she could endure it, bide her time and wait for an opening.

The reality of the situation came down on her with a mighty crash - from her position, she couldn't even see what Akashi did. All she knew was that it involved dropping her full weight, was some sort of blow, and it made her entire Valley's back explode with pain, starting at the point of impact and shooting down her spine. She let out a shrill banshee cry and flopped about on the mat like a fish out of water, kicking her legs as tears started to well up in her eyes.

Akashi rolled off of Valley. Now that she had the blonde grounded, it was time to get her back into the middle of the ring. She reached down and looked to wrap her arms around Valley's waist and, with a grunt of exertion, heave the Doll up as if she were going to German suplex her.

Akashi was running a clinic on her, and whatever advantage she'd started the match off with was now a distant memory. As much as she'd hate it, Valley needed to retreat and catch her breath, take some time to recover before this wound up being the shortest non-screwjob match of her career.

When Akashi lifted her up for the suplex, Valley didn't just go along with it. She jumped into the suplex and tried to flip her way out of it before the sumo could complete the slam, hoping to land behind her.

Quietly, and without fanfare, Taylor strolled down the edge of the entrance ramp. Dressed unassumingly in half-laced Doc's, little denim shorts, and a loose black hoodie that mostly covered them, with the words "FAST and HARD" scrawled across the front in stylized handwriting. Her blonde hair was in a pony tail.

She waved her hand, palm down, at the crowd to tell them to keep quiet, and grabbed a chair from the other side of the barricade. With a bag of popcorn from the AFW cafe in her hand, she sat down on her chair by the time keeper's booth and crossed her legs.

She ate some popcorn, with a wry grin, and quietly watched the show, which was to say that she quietly watched Akashi pound the ever living shit out of some overcooked old ho-bag.

Akashi grabbed Valley and heaved her. She had hopped to suplex her into a nice bridging pin but it seemed like she had gotten overzealous a bit and was actually going to throw Valley like a rag... doll...

Or Valley still had some gas in the tank and was still pretty athletic. Akashi bounced off the mat and got to her knees to see Valley standing and her on the mat.

"Shimata..."

Valley had pulled that sort of escape off before, and ideally she would have followed it up with, perhaps, a dropkick or a reverse hurricanrana. Maybe just a kick. Something.

But for the moment, all she wanted to do was get as far away from Akashi as possible. She came down off the flip and fell down to one knee, then dropped to her side and rolled out of the ring. That got her a fresh round of boos from the audience, but she didn't much care at the moment. They hadn't had their backs almost snapped like a stale Graham Cracker.

She backed away as the ref started her slow count, falling back to the barricades and leaning against them for support. "Sweet Mary, mother of Christ..." She did a quick Hail Mary as she rubbed her back.
