Jamie Valentine vs Maricarmen Juarez

Jamie waited until the last possible second, and as Maricarmen came in to collide with the ropes she jumped and rolled on her back over the ropes, and over Maricarmen's back, to land behind her. She was impressed by how gracefully she did it to. She finished by giving the back of Maricarmen's knee a hard stomp.

This wasn't so hard. Once you got the hang of it.

When Maricarmen committed tot he attack, she was sure that she was going to plow into Jamie. But then at the last second she moved and the girl rolled past her. Maricarmen turned her head, watching in surprise but she couldn't turn her body and ran into the ropes. She was about to get forced backwards when a leg hit the back of her knee. She let out a grunt and the momentum of the ropes pushing her as well as the kick, sent her toppling backwards towards the ground. She'd end up in a pile if Jamie didn't intercept her first.

As soon as Jamie's kick landed, she gave Maricarmen a shove and planted her foot on the mat while she dropped to one knee, so that when Maricarmen rebounded off the ropes she flopped back and caught Jamie's waiting knee in her spine before falling to the side.

Jamie jumped up to her feet with a sneer, never taking her intense brown eyes off of her opponent. She walked in a circle around to Maricarmen's head and bent to offer her hand out to help her up. "Sorry." She said. Part of her meant it. Most of her didn't.

Maricarmen flailed a bit but could do nothing as she flopped backwards. As she prepared to hit the mat, suddenly pain shot through her spine as it collided with Jamie's knee and she let out a loud yelp before crashing to the floor.

"Gaaah!"

Maricarmen winced and she rolled onto her side. Her left hand snaked to her back and tried to find a way to rub away the pain which mostly meant pushing the back of her hand up against her spine. But then her ear twitched as she heard Jamie's apology. Her brow furrowed and she made a sharp closed mouth growl and slapped away Jamie's hand.

"Stop it!" She barked and tried rolling away and hopping up to her feet. "Don't mock me!"

Jamie didn't respond, but with her eyes fixed on Maricarmen, and an oddly pleasant smile, she worked to stay in range and follow her opponent while she rolled away, and as she was pushing up to her feet Jamie let go a left roundhouse kick aimed at her face. Or her chest, it really didn't matter. Now that she thought of it, Jamie realized how much Maricarmen had been looking down on her, and she didn't like it. She'd have to admit she was wrong after Jamie knocked her out and pinned her in front of everybody.

Maricarmen saw Jamie coming at her as she rolled away. She furrowed her brow and as she saw the kick swinging in. She twisted her body as she saw the kick to try and intercept it so it bounced into her chest. She grunted a bit as she tried to clamp down on Jamie's leg and continue turning her body to turn the kick and flip Jamie down and onto her back.

"Hey!" Jamie protested as her leg was caught up and she was flopped onto her back. All of the momentum she'd built up suddenly went up in smoke and she panicked. She looked up at Maricarmen with fear in her eyes, as though she meant to kill her, and pushed frantically with her hands and feet to scuttle away from her giant, scary opponent.

"OhmigodIdidn'tmeantodon'tkillme!" She blurted and desperately looked around, hoping for another stray yo-yo.

Maricarmen tried to hang onto Jamie's leg as much as she could. She hoped to spin her own body with Jamie's so she could push forward and whip her leg around to catch Jamie's leg in between her own. If she could manage, she would wrench Jamie's leg upward so that it was nestled quite nicely between her thighs. Then she would go for a standing ankle lock and try and bend the girl's ankle awkwardly. It wasn't the best submission and really Maricarmen would be executing it poorly even if she could get it off, but she was a rookie too and her own inexperience would leave her slightly vulnerable even if she managed to get Jamie into a tough spot for now.

Still, she heard the cries of the girl and as she attempted her maneuver, she shook her head. "It's not the end of the world, quit yapping!" She protested.

Jamie clawed at the mat and kicked with her feet to get away from Maricarmen, but it was no use. The moment of panic while she laid on her back and looked up at Maricarmen holding her foot gave way to a sudden shock of pain. Her eyes lit up, and her upper body curled up off the mat, her hands tightening into fists.

"Ooowwwwwww! Ow! Ahhhah, stopitstopit!" She whined and pleaded and slapped the mat next to her. She tried jerking her foot loose, but that only made it hurt more. She looked for the ropes, but they were too far away. It hurt so much, but there had to be a way out. She rolled with the hold, in the direction that Maricarmen was twisting her foot, to see if maybe she could roll her way to freedom.

Maricarmen furrowed her brow at Jamie's whining. "If you don't like it then give up!" She barked. She felt Jamie squirm and begin to roll in the direction of the way her ankle was being bent. Maricarmen threw the ankle down and stomped away away from Jamie. She had finally decided this girl was dumb and wrestling her was an embarrassment to the sport she loved. She could do what she pleased and wanted to try and get her ring routine down so she marched over towards the turnbuckle and hopped onto the second rope, looking back at Jamie to see what the other girl was going to do.
