Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"

Joe's trick worked perfectly and he managed to land an easy punch straight in Shido's head. Shido looked quite shaked after the punch and Joe was getting happy too quickly. He tried to follow up with another punch, this time doing the right hook. But before his fist connected with Shido's head, Joe was triped over and falldown on his back.

He tried to get away, but Shido prevented him by keep holding his leg. It was bit painfull hold for Joe, but luckily his arms were still free. He clenched his fist and tried to use his arms to drag his body and Shido toward the ropes for rope break.

Shido would up the pressure, trying hard to damage Joe's knee in a figure four leglock and secure an advantage!

"Sorry, Joe!" He'd utter while his opponent tried dragging them both to the ropes. Eventually, Joe was able to drag the both of them, there, but Shido was confident that he had done a decent job removing at least one of Joe's legs from the match. After being forced to break the hold, Shido would recuperate for a bit before getting up and surveying what his options were based on what Joe aimed to do.

Joe was keep draging them across the ring, which made situation even more painfull. But it was something he had to do in order to set himself. Eventually he managed to grab a rope and Shido let him go. Joe was keep clenching the ropes and when referee asked him if everything is ok he just noded. Joe used help of ropes to stand up and grunted silently after trying to stand up without a help. Well, he could stand by his own, but damage was done and Joe began shifting his weight on healthy leg.

He didn't walk too much around the ring this time, since his leg had to get as much rest as it can. He was just waiting for Shido with arms up and getting ready for fighting bit more defensivly from now on.

Shido was matching Joe's slow pace trying to survey whether or not Joe actually had some decent damage done to him or if he was just trying to goad Shido into attacking him. After waiting a few moments and observing that Joe had been walking mostly on his good leg, Shido decided the charge the slightly taller fellow and tackle him to ground, hoping to go back to work on Joe's bad leg!

Joe was keep stayingclose to ropes, even when Shido began approaching him. He had defensive guard up when Shido went for attack. Joe tried to move away, but his leg didn't allow him to do so, so he was just hoping for the best. He grabed the ropes and managed to stay up, but couldn't prevent Shido from dealing some more damage. Joe was leaning back on ropes and clenching them with arms, desperatly trying to stay up.

Shido would try to wrestle Joe away from the ropes, but to no avail! Despite not being able to hold himself up, Joe seemed to have a firm grasp on the ropes.

Shido would attempt to grab both of Joe's legs and continue pulling him. Hoping to lift him high above the mat while he held onto the ropes. If this worked, Shido would kick Joe's midsection until he would let go of the ropes and fall!

Joe was keep holding the ropes and from what it looked like, his grip was strong enough to prevent him from getting tackled down on the canvas. He was bit weak because of last impact and when Shido grabed and pulled his legs it was over. Joe wasn't strong enough anymore, which caused him to fall down.

When being down, Joe tried to tug his leg out of Shido's hands in order to free himself. Since they were close to the edge of the ring, Joe would try rolling away to get 10 count before being disqualified - but this 10 seconds would be more than enough for him to recover a little.

Joe's sudden fall would give him the chance to slip away and retreat under the bottom rope, outside the ring. Shido would be disappointed that he let him get away and would pause for a moment before realizing that Joe could recuperate a decent amount outside. He felt that it would be too invasive to pursue Joe. After all, Shido was just at AFW to make friends and didn't have a ton riding on this match. Giving Joe a chance to get back into things would make for a more enjoyable match overall. And ten seconds wasn't exactly all the time in the world. He would lean over the second rope and ask. "How are you holdin' up?"

Joe grimaced and rubed his hurt ankle. He looked up at Shide and waved to him. "It's alright, i'll be fine. Don't worry." He was interupted by referee's count and he slowly walked back toward the ring. He slided inside and get back on his feet to resume on the fight. It was still bit painfull, but at least he got a little rest - he should just avoid getting hit on same spot and everything will be ok.

And best way to prevent getting hit in ankle was to attack before Shido could do it. She moved closer to him and swinged with his arms, trying to hit sides of opponents body with left and right hooks.

Shido waited for Joe to be comfortable with continuing. But perhaps he had waited a bit too long. Joe had moved in and begun swinging at him like he was a sandbag. He would take the first punch head on and grunt a bit. He had prepared himself to block the second since he knew it was coming from the other side. But he didn't block the entirety of the impact. Shido would take steps back to avoid the next few hooks, trying to figure out a plan to counter. Though this might not work out for him as he seemed to be approaching the corner as he backed away!
