Friction in MSG: Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Haruna Saito

Akashi watched as Haruna went down and she grabbed the railing of the bridge to keep herself propped up. As Haruna tried to use the kendo stick to push herself up to a standing position, Akashi simply moved forward and tried to kick the stick out from underneath Haruna and force her to lose her balance to drop back down onto the bridge.

Akashi kicked the kendo stick right out of Haruna's grasp, causing it to clatter between the railings and fall off. "Fuck!" the purple-haired girl cursed loudly, dropping down to one knee. Still far from giving up, she spun her body around and tried to sweep the sumo's legs out from under her.

Akashi watched the kendo stick clatter free from Haruna's grip, and rolled away. She smirked at Haruna's cussing but on the bridge, it was still not a good spot to be able to completely set herself and as she was bringing her foot down, the speedy shinobi crashed her leg into Akashi's and caused the normally sure footed Sumo to crash back down onto the hard wood of the makeshift bridge.

"Ghhh, dammit..." Akashi growled and lurched onto her knees to begin the process of standing back up once more.

Haruna could feel the whole bridge quake with Akashi's fall, but was still able to quickly push herself up to her feet. As the sumo would try start to rise, Haruna grabbed the railing for stabilty as she lifted her leg up high and attempted to bring a sharp axe kick down on Akashi's back.

Akashi was not in a very good position as Haruna hopped up and lifted her leg. The downed Sumo looked up, and stared at Haruna's foot, almost dumbfounded by it for a split second before it slammed down onto the top of her head, sending her crashing right back down to the mat. Even with Akashi's bulk, taking a kick like that was enough to put Akashi back on her stomach, groaning through the splitting headache.

Flooring the hefty Akashi once more, Haruna quickly resorted to one of her contingency plans. The majority of a sumo's power came from their lower body, and she could at least disable it part-way, she'd be able to gain another advantage.

"Just roll over and die already." Haruna stated coldly, stepping around towards Akashi's legs. Raising her foot up high yet another time, this time she stomped down as hard as she could on Akashi's right ankle.

"Ahhhhaaahh!"

Akashi screamed as Haruna stomped down on her ankle, crushing it against the unforgiving wooden bridge. Biting her lip, she tried to roll onto her butt and shove Haruna away from her.

Smiling sadistically as she stomped down on Akashi's ankle, Haruna grunted as she ended up getting shoved backwards, grabbing onto the railing. Either way, a heavier wrestler like the sumo would have a much more difficult time maintaining her balance compared to a lighter wrestler, assuming her stomp had done enough damage at least. Maybe to be safe, a few more hits...

Figuring Akashi would be a little slower getting up now, Haruna rushed right back in, throwing a kick aimed at the sumo's face.

Akashi managed to give Haruna a shove, but even with that bit of distance, it was still a slow process to get up. She was barely even on one leg as Haruna came at her again and swung a kick her way.

Akashi threw up her arm to try and block the kick but grimaced as it crashed into her and put her right back on her butt once more. It was annoying not being able to get any traction against someone who she should be able to outmatch.

"Tch..." Haruna clicked her tongue in irritation as Akashi blocked her attack. Though she managed to keep the sumo down on her ass, she needed more than this is she was going to wear someone like Akashi down.

Hopping back slightly, she moved behind her hefty foe. As soon as the sumo would try to get up again, Haruna would strike swiftly and try to aim a kick to the back of Akashi's wounded ankle.
