Standard Match
Winning Condition: Pinfall, Knockout or Submission

Ever since her rather easy victory against the girl known as THE Cyclops, Mai had been putting in for a match. She had fun with the girl but it was kind of sad to have to go up against someone so woefully inexperienced. She definitely needed a challenge. and she made sure to train as hard as she could so that when she faced someone who was a caliber of opponent more befitting, that she wasn't rusty. She wanted to make sure that a real opponent would look no different to the audience than Molly.

Mai kicked a few times in the air and then put on her headset. She was feeling good and ready to fight. As her entrance music began to play, she burst from the backstage entrance and began to sing. "NOtaku no Love!" was her entrance theme and her first success as a songwriter. Because she was a star outside of the AFW, she had quite a bit of popularity inside of the squared circle. Legitimate wrestling fans who had followed her career from the Wrestle Angel's League as well as those fans who knew her as the 'Otaku Queen.'

Mai dazzled with her beautiful voice and stunning dancing until she finished in the ring. The crowd cheered for her and she slipped off her headset and handed it to the ref. She did not know who her opponent would be. She was only told that she was not making her debut, unlike her previous opponent. Good. It seemed like the girl had some experience. Mai was looking forward to it. She pulled on the ropes and stretched, limbering up while she waited for her opponent to enter.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by BCG Sun Sep 08, 2013 12:16 am

Moments after Mai handed over her headset, [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8g7yl_li7g:1p4jknr3]a new song began to play[/url:1p4jknr3]. It started with a sudden, unpleasant violin screech, that quickly gave way to the foreboding entrance theme of Iron Maiden. A wave of audible surprise and dismay spread across the crowd, especially amongst the fans of Mai Nagasawa. Although Iron Maiden had only been seen twice so far, the ease and manner in which she had dismantled Team Corona had created quite a buzz amongst the AFW fandom. She was a monster. A colossal and terrifying woman. And now Mai Nagasawa faced a challenge that not even a team of three had been up to the task for.

Kyla Fairchild stepped out onto the stage first, where she stopped and surveyed the crowd with a cool smile. Judging from the reaction they gave her, it was obvious that most of the crowd was backing Mai. To Kyla's great amusement however, she did spot quite a few Iron Maiden signs amongst the sea of people, being held by appreciators of truly fearsome and dominant talent, no doubt. Once she was finished surveying the audience, Kyla turned her sights on the girl waiting in the ring. She chuckled to herself and shook her head as if Mai were a complete joke, not to be taken seriously, before she turned back to look at the curtains and awaited her Iron Maiden.

Maiden soon stepped out looking as fearsome as ever with her towering stature and locked chains confining her arms. Kyla lead her client down to ringside where they stopped momentarily to remove Iron Maiden's chain bindings. The good doctor lifted the key up high for all to see, before using it to unlock the chains which slipped off of Iron Maiden and landed on the floor with a clank. Kyla then met Maiden's gaze and nodded to her knowingly. "You may have your fun. Just remember what you're here for... To win." she instructed her, before stepping out of the way and allowing to Maiden to climb up onto the ring apron.

Iron Maiden stepped through the ropes and slowly strode to the center of the ring, where she stopped and eyed her opponent threateningly. Her hands were flexing and grasping the air at her sides, as if she were eager to reach out and grab Mai to literally pull her apart. Or pull someone apart. The referee was especially intimidated by the arrival of Maiden, and was keeping a fair distance between the hulking she-beast and herself. It was no secret what Iron Maiden had done to the referee of her first and prior match.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by Tatyina Sun Sep 08, 2013 2:19 am

Mai watched as the gloomy music began to play. She wondered just who would come out to it but when she saw Kyla Fairchild step up from behind the curtain, she was a little amused. A cute red head? Mai wondered what the girl's angle was. Still, it seemed like she might be a fun fight and this girl did seem like a greenhorn.

And then Mai watched as another girl stepped out. She was huge. Mai sucked in a breath and suddenly she had an idea about who exactly she was facing. She'd heard through the wrestling and idol communities that Yuuka and her whole team had been obliterated. While Mai didn't know Yuuka personally and knew around the idol community that she was a diva, at best, and a spoiled brat at worst, she still felt for her fellow idol.

Mai shifted in her corner as she watched the spectacle of Iron Maiden being unchained. As the beastly woman entered the ring, Mai twitched. If she didn't admit she was at least a little scared, she'd be lying to herself. But they had big girls in the Wrestle Angel's league as well. Other ones here in the AFW. She just... hadn't faced them yet.

Mai watched Maiden as she looked ready to murder. Still, Mai couldn't help herself. She was always the kind of person to try and bring good cheer everywhere she went. She stepped forward and bowed respectfully to Iron Maiden and then winked at her, flashing a Vee.

"Tetsu no Otome-chan." She said in Japanese. "In Japanese, it sounds quite adorable. I bet a kimono would suit you much better than a straight jacket." She said and turned her head to Kyla as she backed away from Iron Maiden. "Fairchild-san?" She said, looking at Kyla. "I just have one question. Do you have something against idols, or is it just a coincidence that I'm matched up against your wrestler?"

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by BCG Sun Sep 08, 2013 5:51 am

Iron Maiden didn't react to Mai's friendly greeting. She simply continued to stare at her with cruel malicious intent. Had Mai tried to antagonize her, it certainly would have made the beating to come much worse, but no display of friendliness and good sportsman was going to get through to this demented she-beast. Especially with Kyla Fairchild feeding and encouraging her violent tendencies.

Kyla watched from the sidelines, eagerly anticipating the moment the bell would ring. She was somewhat caught offguard when Mai suddenly addressed her, and she blinked cluelessly at the girl as she processed the question. "Oh... I'm sorry. Are you implying that you 'idols' are so magnificently important that my Iron Maiden and I need to single you all out? Please. You couldn't comprehend my true intentions even if I explained them to you, you stupid girl." she claimed with an insulting sneer. "Now, I suggest you worry less about me, and more about who you're facing!"

In the back of her mind though, Kyla couldn't help but agree with one particular thing Mai said. Iron Maiden's name was quite cute in Japanese.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by Tatyina Sun Sep 08, 2013 6:13 am

Mai listened to Kyla's words and frowned. "Idols... aren't above anyone. The ones that think they are, are no idols at all. We've been given gifts. Beauty, talent, charisma. And we use those gifts to brighten people's lives like the brief flicker of a match. Enough flame to illuminate a place inside one's heart and... if we're lucky... that flame will burn into a beautiful, raging fire. But we're only as good as our fans. Without them, our talents mean nothing. When people start thinking they are better than someone else, they've already made themselves worse."

Mai pressed her fist against her heart and focused on Maiden. "It seems like you've brought a beast with you today. That's not what I see, but no doubt she'll act like one. I'd be lying if I didn't say I was scared but that doesn't mean I'll let my resolve fail. There are people counting on me."

The bell rang and Mai drew in a breath. She dashed away from her corner. The ring seemed so small standing in front of the giant. She had to suppress the urge to go fully at Maiden from the get go. She had powerful legs but they were no good if she got clipped. If she only had one silver bullet, she had to make sure she didn't fire it until she was absolutely ready.

She crouched and kept her eyes on Maiden, watching the woman's movements.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by BCG Sun Sep 08, 2013 6:44 am

Kyla's face contorted with deep confusion and annoyance at Mai's monologue. She looked around as if there was some joke that she wasn't getting, and eventually landed her gaze back on Mai to give her an exasperated scowl. "For Pete's sake, I'm not here to give you a therapy session!" she snapped at her. "Not tonight anyway. Maiden!! Shut this wretch's mouth once and for all!" she ordered her beastly client.

Iron Maiden momentarily looked at Dr. Fairchild, and heard the sound the bell as she turned her focus back on her opponent. She went after Mai without a moment's hesitation, and would have immediately gotten her hands on her if the young idol hadn't smartly started the match with a healthy distance between Maiden and herself. Iron Maiden closed this distance quickly enough however, and as she neared Mai, she attempted an overhead swing of his arm aiming for the top of Mai's head.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by Tatyina Sun Sep 08, 2013 6:53 am

Mai's eyes focused on the big girl. A lot of the bigger wrestlers would forgo technique for size. Iron Maiden didn't seem to give any indication that she was any different but with the way the doctor spoke, who knew? She made sure to keep an eye on on where she was in the ring while she tried to lure Maiden around in a way to keep herself from getting backed into a corner.

When Maiden lunged Mai, the Mecha Neko bent her knees and hopped backwards, out of the way of the big, clubbing hand. It was easily telegraphed and gave Mai a chance to see how tough Iron Maiden was. While the big red head was committed to swinging her arm, Mai bent her body and put as much force as she could into a crescent kick aimed at Iron Maiden's chin.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by BCG Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:18 am

Iron Maiden's arm swung through the air without making contact with her opponent. The first time this had ever happened to her, she had been surprised into a momentary state of confusion. This time though she simply kept on the attack and moved forward to attempt another clubbing blow with her other arm. In doing so however, she ended up walking right into Mai's crescent kick. Her head violently jerked as her masked chin took the full brunt of Mai's kick, but almost immediately her head turned back and she glared at Mai as if the young idol had just poked her or stepped on her toe. Iron Maiden seemed entirely unshaped, but tremendously annoyed. With an enraged snarl, muffled by her mask, Iron Maiden threw up her leg for an attempted Big Boot to Mai's head.

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by Tatyina Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:45 am

Mai watched her kick snap Iron Maiden's head backwards but nothing else. Her strength was in her legs but if that wasn't going to put the big girl down, Mai was REALLY worried. Mai pulled her foot back and watched as Maiden seemed to get angry. She knew that if one of those attacks connected solidly with her, she'd be in real trouble.

She also knew that Iron Maiden seemed to lack any technique whatsoever. When the red head lifted up her big boot, Mai's butt wiggled in anticipation as she kept a careful eye on it. Obviously she wasn't going to be able to use her legs the way she'd like to, so she'd have to come up with a better strategy. As the big boot came, Mai was able to turn her body to avoid the kick and backed away, trying to get around to Iron Maiden's back and away from being backed against the ring. Mai tried to run tot he other side of the ring and scale the turnbuckles like a step ladder. Getting into that position would actually give her the height advantage and give her a better perch from which to work. Mai was confident that she could keep avoiding the Maiden's terribly telegraphed attacks. Now the question was, did she have enough stamina in her to keep her hit and run tactics going long enough to find a chink in the big girl's armor?

Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden Empty Re: Mai Nagasawa Vs. Iron Maiden

Post by BCG Tue Sep 10, 2013 4:16 am

Iron Maiden's powerful yet wild kick missed Mai by a mile, and as Maiden planted her foot back on the mat, she found she could no longer see her opponent in front of her. She stupidly glanced back and forth the side of the ring she was facing, giving Mai all the time in the world to climb to higher ground. By the time Maiden thought to actually turn around, Mai was already perched on one of the top turnbuckles.

"Keep your eyes on her, Iron Maiden!" Kyla called from ringside. There was a strong hint of frustration in her voice, very telling of the fact that she was beginning to grow nervous about the state of the match. Mai was not particularly quick. She seemed, in all aspects, an average and well rounded competitor. Kyla realized that the only reason Iron Maiden hadn't been able to get a hold of her so far, was a matter of the she-beast's poor technique. It was just too easy to see her moves coming, and if you were smart enough, as it seemed Mai was, it was a simple matter of moving out of the way. However, Mai could only play this out for so long before she grew tired and slipped up. This would all come down to stamina... but when Iron Maiden did catch the girl, Kyla planned to make sure her towering client immediately finished the job. For at that point all that would matter was Iron Maiden's gargantuan strength.

Iron Maiden looked away from Kyla and began marching across the ring towards the perched and waiting Mecha-Neko Mai, eyes locked onto her.
