Too soon or too late?

"Nyehhhh~" Adrian let out as Cecilia turned back to nuzzling the cosplayer into submission. "Like I need to cheat to beat you." she whispered back before finally getting out of the elevator, the old Avenger crew back together it seemed.

Cecilia smiled a bit as she heard what Adrian said, and with it she had to move in and ruffle up Adrian hair a bit, with it she would then try and push Adrian down a bit by her head using her arm to down her. " We'll see little one." Cecilia said as soon the door would open to the entrance floor and Cecilia would start by stepping out towards the entrance and would walk up over towards the door.

Adrian screwed up her face as Cecilia pushed her down. Still, compared to how they were 30 minutes ago: things were still looking up.

Cormac's was... well Adrian didn't really know what to make of it just yet, it seemed to have a semi-Irish theme going for it with all the green around: all she knew was that when Cecilia entered the bartender could not appease her fast enough. Someone knew someone here, maybe that would help keep the drink tab low.
"Okay so... beer for you, beer for you, Appletini for me..." Adrian said, passing out the first round of drinks strategically so she'd have full space to arm wrestle the Hardcore Queen into defeat, the cosplayers eyes burning with confidence while Rebecca looked on shaking her head and waiting for the inevitable trick.

"You sure about this, I mean I could arm wrestle Cecilia instead of you." the amazon offered to which Adrian just shook her head.

"Thanks Becks but I-" she paused, taking a sip of her drink "know exactly what I'm doing."

When they arrived at Cormac's, Cecilia spent a lot of time chatting up the owner of course, being one of her closest friends Catelyn Cormac, who seated them at a good table and took their orders. " So Two beers and an appeltini then ? Right away." Cat said all before Cecilia would stop her, " Wait Cat, sit with us will you ? Also bring me something else, I would like some Jack Daniels and Coke please." Cecilia said as she looked on at Catelyn with a smile.

The red head shrugged a bit before she would smile and shake her head a bit from left to right, " Fine ! I'll join you. And sure thing." The bar-owner then vanished for a few seconds as Cecilia then turned to face Adrian, " You ready Addy?" she wanted to see just what Adrian had planned, there was little to no chance that she would be able to beat the Hardcore Queen in a test of strength, seeing as so far she hadn't been able to nearly match up to half of the Northern Queen's power.

Catelyn though soon came with the drinks and sat down next to the group, watching Cecilia twirl her fingers a bit and then place her hand on the table." Bring it Addy." Cecilia said wit ha little grin as she place her arm in position. " Uhm....what are they doing ?"

"Something really stupid..." Rebecca muttered when Cat asked what Adrian and Cecilia were up to, the cosplayer taking Cecilia's hand firmly and resting her elbow on the table. "Okay: 1, 2, 3 go!" the amazon declared, giving the signal for both of them to try their hardest to slam the other's arm on the table.

"K...." Adrian grunted, putting as much force as she could muster into this, a lot more than Cecilia would be expecting out of the slight cosplayer "Ready to just hand me the win?" she asked.

Cecilia felt how Adrian started to push into the arm wrestling, she felt how Adrian seemed to have gotten stronger but she still had no real problem in holding her ground against Adrian, keeping her arm in place as Adrian did all she could to force Cecilia's arm down, it moved slightly but not much and that was before Cecilia would smirk and then start to pour her own strength into the arm wrestling, little by little attempting to force the girl's arm down more and more.

" That was a bad pun, and for it I must beat you down." Cecilia said with a teasing grin as she kept putting little more strength into the arm wrestling as she slowly forced Adrian hand down.

" I don't get it..." Cat let out as she looked on at the two, " Why are they arm wrestling ?" Cat said as she looked over at Rebecca questioningly.

"Gah!" Adrian let out as her new strength still wasn't enough to stop the Swedish powerhouse "It wasn't intentional dammit." She grunted, determined that if she couldn't win, to at least hold her ground until Cecilia got bored. "They'd be a lot worse if I meant them."

"They're arm wrestling over who pays for drinks tonight, maybe more I think. Maybe Adrian's just trying to impress Cec by showing that she can hold her own a bit." Rebecca tried to explain "Of course if it was me, Cec would already have lost by now but... hey, their decision."

Cecilia smiled a bit as she saw how it didnt' seem to be going to well against her in the arm wrestling as the two of them were locked in the struggle, though now there wasn't much for Cecilia to do but try and roughly over power Adrian and smash her hand down hard against the table, not letting the girl hold on as the physically stronger Hardcore Queen attempted to take down Adrian with a quick over powering.

" Aha...well that's fair I guess." Cat said as she looked over at Rebecca and would then extend her arm to the girl for a handshake, " I'm Catelyn Cormac, it's a pleasure to meet you." Cat said as she looked on at the taller amazonian woman.

Adrian tried her best to hold on as long as she possibly could, and while she come a long way and had got her upper body strength to be on par with a lot of people in Friction, Cecilia was still stronger than them and by extension: the cosplayer and eventually her hand slammed the table in defeat. "Dammit!" She hissed "Fine... I'll pay tonight." She said, trying to shrug it off while keeping an eye on how Cecilia reacted.

"Rebecca Tomoko, likewise." The amazon said, taking Cat's hand and her eye off the armwrestling, by the time she turned back she'd missed the big finish. "You Okay Adrian?" she asked.

"Huh? Y-yeah... I'll be fine."

Cecilia would smile a bit at Adrian after she managed to down her in their arm wrestling contest and she would then bring her arm over towards Adrian's head and ruffle up her hair a bit. " You did well Addy. You're getting stronger." Cecilia said as she would give Adrian a kind smile.

Cat smiled as she shook Rebecca's hands and would then smile as she looked over at the two, " Congratulations Cecilia, and good job to yourself Adrian." Cat said as she would then look around a bit at all three of them, " You know I kinda own this place...so I you'd like I might be able to give you half price on all the drinks." Cat said as she smiled a bit to Adrian.
