Too soon or too late?

"What!? No! I'm paying for these I have to make every sweet sweet drink last as long as possible, or my bank cards gonna be drier than my throat tomorrow morning!" Adrian declared, taking another small sip of her drink "Mmmm....apples." she was probably already drunk, her hillariously low alcohol endurance showing through compared to Rebecca and Cecilia, she'd only had one and was already off the wall. "And it does kind of get old, you being all way more awesome than us." the cosplayer continued as the amazon stiffened up, Adrian wasn't supposed to have heard that bit. Especially not while drunk "I mean seriously, you give everyone around you an inferiority complex and stuff, how the heck am I supposed to be confident when if I get just a teeny tiny too big for my boots BAM! knocked back to square one and I'm all wah, wah, wah. When you kick the crap out of me for being so emo, tell me to get braver and more confident and the whole cycle starts again. And if I ever think of challenging you... that maybe I deserve a bit of respect, well we both know how that went down."

"What?" She asked, unaware of just how awkward the atmosphere had just become

Cecilia was quite as Adrian started to talk, she would wait a little while for the girl to finish and after which she would let out a sigh and then shake her head a bit, moving her glass up to sweep the drink down and then move up from her seat, and place the glass down. After which Cecilia would walk off, moving away and heading over towards the bathroom.

Cat would look around on Adrian and then back to Becks and look around back on forth on the two, " You know...I've never been able to beat Cecilia, that doesn't mean I don't keep trying. I have almost only lost every match I've had for quite some time now. " Cat said as she would look on Adrian, " Cecilia has never made me feel that way though, the only thing she has done is give me a goal to try and reach for."

Rebecca was looking down for a good while as Cecilia left, Catelyn's words not inspiring much confidence in the amazon and Adrian... Adrian had just downed another drink and seemed to be fully into a sulk. "Cec!" She let out eventually, sending her chair clattering back as she took off after the Swede, looking to confront her in the bathroom while the cosplayer just stayed there. Finishing the last of her drink and glaring at Catelyn slightly.

"Well... good for you." She said bitterly "You're actually mentally stable and don't get jealous of people you'll never be able to match up to. Or maybe you're just way better than me as well and actually have a shot. Or maybe.... maybe it's because you've got some selective hearing so you don't hear all the stuff she says to just get at me, Becks... everyone she ever meets, just because she knows she's a better wrestler! Do you think I'm blind with how she treats Heather? I'm not! She's supposed to be a friend yet she treats her as though she's freaking property. Friends...friends don't do that to other friends. She knows I hate being teased, that I really, really can't stand it. That it makes me freak out... AND SHE STILL DOES IT!" The cosplayer ranted, getting progressively louder as she started to break out into sobs, placing an arm on the table and slowly crying into it. "But... she's my friend... I'm not supposed to be jealous of her... I'm not supposed to get mad at her, I'm not supposed to even for a second just lose it and think that I hate her... I just... don't you ever get sick of this survival of the fittest shit? Strong ruling over the weak and all..." she asked Cat, taking Rebecca's left beer and starting to drink it, grimacing as the grainy taste almost made her want to puke, but she held on... she wanted more booze, something more substantial than the appletinis.

Cat looked on at Adrian as she spoke, shaking her head a bit as she eyed the girl a bit and then would reach out to grab the glass that Adrian was going for before the girl did and would attempt and pull it away from her before she could take it, " I'm cutting you off." Cat said as she would glare a bit at Adrian, " Nothing good will come from you drinking anymore. " Cat said as she would look on at Adrian, hearing the girl's hurtful words towards her friend but then how she becomes sad and started to say all those thing she did while sobbing.

" Why do you think so badly of yourself ? You're a top fighter, you have a contract for the Entropy championship. You're undefeated and in the top rankings. You shouldn't feel so bad about yourself. Look at me, I'm not on anyones radar. But I'm fine with that, Things are going well, I have a good life. Cecilia helps me out when I need help and she's taken care of me from time to time. She's even helped me get better. During all our spars and matches." Cat said as she looked on at the girl.

" If you don't like Cecilia, why do you even bother hanging out with her ? What's the point in it if you just get miserable for it ?"

Adrian didn't look up at Catelyn as the Irish girl tried to talk to the now back to depressed cosplayer. With the extra alcohol to give her confidence to try and answer her denied, she just slumped further back in her chair, her face nearly at the very edge of the table. "...yeah whatever..." she mumbled. No real response for now, she was just going to wallow in embarrassment and misery with the events of tonight burned onto the back of her mind forever. "Can't even hold it together for one night..."

Cat would look on at Adrian for a little while and then shake her head a bit, she would step up off her seat and walk up to some of the barmaids and such whispering into their ears to spread the word that the girl sitting there who was Adrian wasn't allowed to have anymore drinks at all.

With that Cat had left the girl and was off to go do her own bar work for now.

Cecilia had gone into the bathroom and as she went in she would quickly walk up towards the far off wall and lean against it and fold her arms under her chest, shaking her head a little as she would look down on the floor.

Rebecca wasn't too far behind Cecilia, pretty much swinging the door open as the Hardcore Queen leaned back against the wall. "...Hey..." the amazon said nervously, no real idea how to handle the situation.

Cecilia wouldn't lift her head but she would gaze up a bit with her eyes as Rebecca came into the bathroom and spoke, she would let out a huff of air from her nostrils as she would then respond with a rather pissed off tone " What ?" short and simple as she looked on at the girl with almost a glaring gaze.

"What? Can't I be worried about you?" Rebecca asked, slowly walking over to Cecilia, "Come on, give me a little credit here: you wouldn't be like this if Adrian hadn't upset you." the Amazon admitted, trying to put a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Hit me if it helps."

Adrian had barely moved from her table, now firmly cut off from drinking anything more all she had left to do was stew in how pathetic she felt. Cecilia probably hated her again, Rebecca would probably distance herself from her just so she could do what she wanted with Cecilia and the cosplayer was probably banished from the apartment building, and she'd already given up having the spare one since she was no longer Bullet Ant. Now with no friends, no home and no other options she picked herself up, slowly placed a wad of money on the table, enough she assumed for the drinks so far and started to walk out. Maybe she'd head to the AFW complex, find a broom closet to sleep in for the next week, just relying on canteen food and the showers there.

Cecilia looked up at Rebecca as her friend spoke, she would shake her head a bit as she heard what the girl said and with that she would lift her head up and look on at Rebecca. " Sorry, Yeah I guess you can." Cecilia said as she would look on at her taller friend ass he approached. " What bout it ? It's not like it matters. She said it after all, she doesn't want me around. She doesn't think of me as a friend and apparently neither should you." Cecilia said as she would push off the bathroom wall and then shake her head a bit.

" If she doesn't want it, then why bother." Cecilia said as she would shrug and start to walk around Rebecca a bit, " And I would never hit you for something that Adrian did. I'd hit Adrian for it."
