Mako Adachi VS Suzumi Ishikawa: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Cage - Page 5 Empty Re: Mako Adachi VS Suzumi Ishikawa: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Cage

Mako was in rough shape, and even though she had managed to get on one knee, her situation wasn’t about to get any better. Suzumi had gotten herself up and was already charging the shark. And when the Tsunami got close enough she swung her leg around, and kicked right at Mako’s head!

Not wanting to take a hit like that, and having no time to dodge, the shark would quickly pull her arms up to take the majority of the kick. But while her arms did absorb some of the impact, Mako was still knocked backwards, landing down on her back as her limbs stung and hurt like hell. Even her head was ringing slightly since the force of the kick wasn’t entirely absorbed by her arms.

Now Mako was on her back groaning as she tried to think of her next move. And with the water around the ring slowly rising higher, it wouldn’t be long until the floor of the ring was underwater.

Suzumi knew her kick didn't connect with Mako's skull but getting the taller lady down on her back was good enough for now at least.

Suzumi saw another opportunity to get Mako in a nasty hold though, and that was her true aim. Suzumi jumped on top of Mako , chest to chest with the woman. Suzumi wrapped her legs around Mako's torso and tried to lean her head forward to squeeze her in a headlock to secure a nasty guillotine choke!

If Suzumi could secure that Mako was in trouble. If not Suzumi would find herself gambling and losing via being in a compromising position against a hard striker.

Mako may have been down for the moment, but she wasn’t out long enough to just let Suzumi have her way. So as the Tsunami got chest to chest with her, the shark struggled as she tried to lock in the guillotine choke, would quickly flip the two of them over so that she would be on top, instead of her opponent.

"Not happening honey!” Mako would shout as she would begin to send some punches down at Suzumi’s face. And with each one the shark would try to add more force than the last! Meanwhile, the water was finally entering the ring, and once it made it’s way to the two fighter’s, Mako would be caught off guard by it. Taking a moment, the shark would stop striking Suzumi as she wondered what the hell was going on. Wondering to herself if this the surprise the promoter mentioned? But now that Mako had stopped her assault, Suzumi would have her

Suzumi had the body scissors half of the guillotine choke locked in but it made no difference. Mako flipped them over and caught Suzumi off guard hammering her with punch after punch. Suzumi weakly and in effectively tried to block but the first few uninterrupted strikes really hammered her. Suzumi felt her eye get hit directly twice and knew it was going to quickly blacken, maybe even swell up a bit. Her face throbbed, and felt like it was on fire on top of her head swimming in a daze.

All she could do now was to try to buck Mako off and hope for some time to recover.

With Mako pausing her onslaught, only a few seconds were needed for Suzumi to suddenly buck her off. Then landing to the side of her opponent, the shark would roll away a few feet before getting to her feet. Getting covered in water by the time she was standing up, Mako's focus had turned back towards the Tsunami. And letting the water distract her no longer, the shark decided it was time for her to really take control of this match.

Starring Suzumi down as if she were her prey, Mako would wait for her to get up. With water running down her face from her hair, the shark would stomp the water covered ring a few times as the excitement continued to build. And as soon as the Tsunami was on her feet, Mako charge to to try grabbing the woman by the waist, and lift her up before letting her go. Throwing Suzumi back for a Release German Suplex!

Suzumi staggered to her feet, her ears still ringing from her head being pummeled. She stumbled up only to be grabbed from behind! Before she could register what was going on or react she was flying into the air and crashed hard against the mat! Suzumi let out a groan as she laid on her stomach, moving her head to the side so she could at least breathe now that the water was slowly rising.

Her feet moved a bit, splashing the water as she looked completely out of it after that surprise release German suplex. Suzumi groaned as she tried to move about, showing some signs of life.

Mako threw Suzumi back hard with the release german suplex, causing a slight splash as her opponent hit the water filled  ring. The shark normally would have gone back onto the attack, but instead took a few moments to catch her breath. This was a pretty tough match, and it was taking a lot out of the woman. But Mako wouldn't stay on her back too long, so after a few moments she picked herself up to see the Tsunami on her stomach.

Cracking her neck a bit, Mako walk towards Suzumi in her crumbled state, and attempt to pull the woman onto her feet. "Come on...on your feet" the shark would say hoping to get her opponent standing, but in a side head lock as well. That way she could squeeze a little strength from Suzumi before transitioning into her next move.

In a daze Suzumi wasn't sure what was going on. The suplex, the rising water... this was altogether new to her. Suzumi was yanked up and felt Mako put her in a side headlock. She was still in a daze and barely able to stand on her own. No backdrop escape like last time.

Suzumi struggled and wriggled but was not able to free herself. This wasn't looking good! She groaned as she reached her hands up to pry at Mako's arm to try to free herself although she wasn't sure if this was going to do anything at all. Still she felt like she had to try to do something to reverse the tide of this match!

Mako locked her arms tightly around the Tsunami's neck as she struggled and squirmed, making sure that her opponent wasn't going anywhere unless the shark allowed her to do so. Not to mention the fact that Suzumi was pretty beat up at this point, which meant she wouldn't be able to counter as easily as she did last time. So after pointing up towards the sky, Mako would take a few quick steps towards the cage wall with the Tsunami in two. The shark would then let out a shout before attempting to jump onto the steel before kicking off it as well. All while holding Suzumi tightly in the side headlock.

With any luck she would be able to propel her feet off the cage and land with Suzumi's face taking most of the impact with this move, The Bull Shark. Mako was taking some hard hits, but she was also dishing a hell of a lot more out. So she was feeling confident to say the least.

Suzumi was struggling weakly as Mako picked her up and moved to the cage. Suzumi was in no position to stop this and felt a wave of humiliation. She was supposed to be the more technical woman yet she hadn't been able to counter Mako's energy and non-stop offense. Her face planted against the mat and she stopped squirming. She instead splashed down and laid there, rolling over slowly to her back and covering her face, which still throbbed in pain!

Suzumi was down and Mako firmly in control of the match at this point!
