Emily Nelson vs. Peggy McIntyrePeggy

"Ngh....w-what the HELL do you think!? No!" Peggy shouted in response to Emily's query. The pain then shot through her like a shockwave. Her cries of agony were earsplitting at this point. She was desperate and used everything she had to try to wrench herself free and adjust, knowing that if she could just get herself in place she could hip toss Emily to the mat and free herself!

If this attempt failed, it did not bode well for Peggy in the least.

Truth to be told, Emily didn't expect Peggy to give up just yet. She had proven to be a stubborn opponent, and it didn't surprise Emily that Peggy's response was defiant and uncouth. She wasn't going to make her tap, so she would instead have to go for a pin fall.

That was Emily's thought, at least, before Peggy twisted in her grip, reversing into a hip toss! "Ugh" Emily grunted as she was slammed back-first into the mat, her legs kicking up as she was left gasping on her back.

Peggy slumped to a knee, the damage done from that abdominal stretch. She knew she could put Emily away if she could hit something big. She moved to the turnbuckle and knew it was time to fly again!

Peggy climbed up and turned to look down on Emily. With a shout she leapt up in the air and looked to crash down again on Emily with a frog splash!

Emily's chest pumped as she rolled over, willing herself back up to her feet. She was not going to lose now, she told herself. She was not going to be brought low by this stuck-up, pottymouthed Irish girl with no sense of ring decorum whatsoever. Getting to her hands and knees, she took a few deep breaths and pushed herself back up to her feet.

Just as Peggy came splashing down at her from the corner post. Alarmed, Emily was bowled off her feet and planted to the mat underneath her opponent, and wast left groaning from the heavy impact

Peggy again stayed on top of Emily, trying again to pin her! She was sure she had it this time, there was no way this ring snob could kick out again! She was good, Peggy had to give her that but she acted like an annoying mom or that annoying principal at school whose whole life was by the book without ever actually doing anything fun.

"ONE!"

Yeah... Emily had to be done, or so Peggy had convinced herself.

At first, Emily made no reaction as Peggy lay on top of her. The fans were on the edge of their seats as the countdown began. Was this it? Had Peggy managed an upset win over Emily Nelson?

"TWO!"

At that moment, Emily's body suddenly arched up under Peggy, the Scotswoman getting a shoulder up in the process. Battered as she was, Emily wasn't out of the fight yet!

So close.....

Peggy again fell short of putting Emily away to secure the win. She wanted to commend the woman, but the young hot-head wanted even more to win. She howled in fristration as she rose to her feet, pulling Emily up. Peggy grabbed hold of the woman as if she were going to deliver a vertical suplex.

Peggy could not afford to blow this. Her own reputation was one thing but she wantwd to show Japan that McIntyre women were not jobbwr pushovers. She wanted to show Julia and Alaina that they were good teachers whose effort to make Peggy better was not a waste of time.

As Emily's body arched up gracefully off the mat, showing off her slender yet powerful frame, Peggy rolled off, and Emily in turn flopped back to the mat, breathing hard from the effort. By this point, Emily had to concede that Peggy was indeed a good wrestler, much better than she had first judged. She groaned as she was pulled up to her feet, her head tucked under Peggy's armpit. Good enough, it seemed, that she was giving her a good thrashing right now.

Clenching her teeth, Emily tried to fight off the throbbing pain in her back, and balled a fist, knowing that if Peggy got off a vertical suplex she was done for. She tried sending a punch into Peggy's midsection, hoping this would stun the Irish girl and weaken her grip. If she managed that, then she would try to spin behind Peggy, wrap her arms around her waist and hopefully nail her in a back body drop pinfall!

Peggy had Emily... or so she thought. The strike surprised Peggy and left her weak enough for Emily to get behind Peggy. Before she could do anything Peggy was in the air and crashed painfully to the mat!

"ONE!"

Peggy squirmed in a panic not realizing she was pinned until the referee started the count. Right at two Peggy thrust out to break the count. Still in shock she slowly got to her feet in a bit of a daze.

Just as the countdown reached two, Peggy twisted fiercely, getting a shoulder up and narrowly throwing Emily off in the process. Getting to her hands and knees, Emily caught her breath and started gingerly getting to her feet, looking across to Peggy to see that the Irish girl was doing the same.

Staggering to her feet, Emily hobbled over to Peggy and balled a fist, aiming a solid right at either her chest or face!
