Hawkeye vs. "Gnarly" Charlie Haines

Charlie just winced in response to Hawkeye's remark. He felt himself get picked up and knew what was coming. He squirmed about trying to free himself but to no avail.

Charlie grunted in pain as he hit the mat back-first. He was going nowhere fast, and had to do something. He grabbed his lower back, rolling to his side. Once Hawkeye stepped up within kicking range, Charlie planned on making a sweeping kick at her legs to take them out from under her!

Usually Charlie's plans were flashier, but sometimes something a bit more grounded... and less crazy... tended to work.

Hawkeye yelped, finding herself taken off her feet, falling right onto her butt.

"Woah, you really are fast!"

She exclaimed, kicking her booted feet out at Charlie to try and keep him away as she tried to get back up to her feet. She was going to have to keep her eye on him at all times if she could, with his quick moves, who knows what he could do.

Charlie intended to move close, but the hard fast warning kicks form Hawkeye were enough to keep him at bay. He backed off getting to his own feet, preparing his next move.

Charlie moved forward as if he was going to lock up, but at the last minute he grabbed onto one of Hawkeye's arms and attempted to whip her into a corner against a ringpost!

The corner.... Charlie loved it when someone was stuck there. It offered him a lot ways to use his speed and put a hurting on someone. As that realization set in, he started feeling his first little pangs of guilt for inflicting pain on a lady.... professional fight or not, Hawkeye was still a lady.

Hawkeye had only just gotten to her feet when Charlie grabbed her arm and tossed her towards the ropes.

Quickly, given Charlie wasn't as strong as she was, Hawkeye changed her momentum, turning her body around and grabbing his arm, whipping him towards the corner instead.

Just for good measure, she ran after him, intending to try and splash her body against his after he it the turnbuckle, if he hit it.

Talk about from bad to worse!

Charlie felt himself being flung into the corner instead of Hawkeye! The lady was strong, stronger than he was so he was more disappointed at the turn of events than surprised.

However, that disappointment quickly turned to outright pain as Hawkeye followed up with a big press, flattening him against the turnbuckle! He let out a grunt of pain as he fell to the floor, sitting in the corner propped up by the very same ringpost he had just been flattened against!

Satisfied with splashing him, Hawkeye grabbed Charlie by his arm and pulled him back up to his feet, before whipping him back towards the opposite corner, running after him, attempting a second splash to his chest!

"Once more, with feeling!"

Charlie got his breath back right when Hawkeye had whipped him back over to the corner. He knew his back wasn't going to feel any better once he arrived.

However, there was a little silver lining on the cloud. As soon as Charlie heard Hawkeye speak, he knew exactly what she planned to do. As soon as Charlie's back slammed against the ringpost he grabbed onto the ropes and kicked his legs up, trying to catch Hawkeye with a mule kick as she tried to flatten him against the turnbuckle again!

Wanting this splash to be better than the last, Hawkeye leaped towards her opponent, the extra height meant to make this splash more effective than the last.

"OOF!"

It worked against her though, as Charlie's legs came up into her chest, stopping her momentum, causing the blonde to fall backwards onto the mat, coughing and gasping as she got her arms around her chest, wheezing for air!

Charlie was more than happy to catch a breather, but felt bad when he saw Hawkeye gasping for breath. "She is a fighter, this is what she does..." Charlie told himself. He took one last deep breath of his own before trying to regain momentum.

Charlie moved away from the corner and ran to the nearest ropes. He jumped up on the top rope and sprang off, leaping into the air and trying to hit Hawkeye with a lionsault while she was down on the mat!

Hawkeye was just getting her breath back when Charlie's body suddenly landed on top of hers, his light frame driving some, though thankfully not all, of her regained air out of her.

The impact was still painful though, the blonde groaning under the lighter male as she tried to roll to her side, wanting to avoid having to kick out of a pinfall this early on in the match!
