Sonic Boom vs Pride Queens

It wasn’t much of a surprise when Kyoko grabbed onto her leg and eliminated any chances of tagging the Amazon back in. But that didn’t stop a heavy groan of frustration from rolling out of Julia’s lips. She squirmed and weakly kicked at Kyoko with her free leg, but that almost certainly wouldn’t be enough to prevent the tag being made there.

At this point it seemed to be coming down to a race against time. Could Julia find an opening to turn her misfortune around before the Pride Queens finished her off? Well, one way or the other, the answer was going to be coming soon…

Amy came in and was able to get in the ring while Kyoko held her in place even as Julia squirmed a lot in the place. Though as they get around to picking her up they think about there next move as Amy tries to drive her knee into her opponents gut to keep her down while Kyoko stood away as Amy got ready to set up there next move.

"Get ready for this Julia." She said as Kyoko nods. Amy then pushes Julia towards the ropes to get ready to drop her with the pop-up powerbomb. If it works Amy will quickly turn to the side as she has Julia ready to be dropped while Kyoko jumps up in the air so that When Amy brings Julia down she would Land on Kyoko's knees for a backbreaker.

Alaina was ringside, leaning in and cheering as she reached her arm out. She knew Julia had to get out and as much as she wanted to just step in there to help out it cheating isn't what either member of Sonic Boom did. IF they won, awesome. They wouldn't cheat to win. "Come on Julia! Shake it off and..." Alaina didn't finish her sentence as she saw the opposing team setting up a team up attack.

Alaina grit her teeth, leaning in further. The second she saw a pin attempt she was going to jump in and break it up. If Julia could get her in a fresh amazon was a dangerous amazon! "Fight through it Julia, fight through it!" Alaina called out from the apron.

At first glance it might’ve seemed like a slight relief to the cowgirl that she was being pulled up. At least she was back on her feet, where she might’ve had her best chance to defend herself. But unfortunately, the speedy daredevil was out of gas. And with both of the Pride Queens converging on her, there was nowhere to go, except back into the ropes when Amy sent her that way.

After bounding off of them, Julia’s momentum carried her right back to Amy, and she was tossed straight up into the air and whipped right back down, all of it ending with a hellacious back-first crash right onto Kyoko’s upturned knees!

“AAAGH!!!” the masked blonde shrieked out in agony while weakly writhing on the ground.

Right from the start you could see the effects of the move. Not only did Amy have the power to make a powerbomb like that beyond painful but Kyoko's knees being the landing point could break a lesser womans back. Kyoko even grunted as her knees collided with the smallers girls back as she pushed Julia off her and rolled away so that she could get back on her feet. Amy moved down and attempted to pin the girl then and there.

Laying on top of her she brought her leg up to make the pin happen while Kyoko decided to make herself useful and rush Aliana while she was still in the corner. If things worked out Amy would be setting up and the pin and Kyoko would have been able to push the amazon off the ring and onto the ground to keep her from helping.

Julia's body rolled off of Kyoko knees as the woman pushed her aside, and no resistance was offered by her when Amy laid over her and hooked her leg. Immediately, the ref got into position and started counting.

"One...!"

No response from the luchadora. Wincing as intense pain lingered in her back from the brutal impact she'd just taken, she could only lay still while the ref continued to count.

"Two...!"

With just one second left, Julia still couldn't muster the strength to kick out of this pin. It all came down to Alaina and Kyoko. Would the Amazon be able to make the miraculous save and keep the match alive? Or was Sonic Boom about to have their first real taste of defeat as a team?

Alaina was entering the ring as soon as Julia hit the mat. As she climbed through the ropes she heard the first count. However, Kyoko had begun to make her trip over as Alaina was bent down climbing through the ropes, not looking.

As soon as Alaina looked up and began to make her way over Kyoko was on her, tying her up! "Ngh! Get off of me!" Alaina growled as she struggled with Kyoko, knowing that she would not make it to Julia in time! She could only hope that Julia could kick out, her frustration mounting as she felt that she let Julia down by not getting in the ring sooner...

Kyoko refused and kept on pushing on the bigger girl. She just had to endure her larger size and superior strength for a few measly seconds afterall. So has the woman made her best effort to get herself free from her grasp and go help Julia Kyoko held on like her life depended on it.

Amy had one eye on her opponents partner as she saw Kyoko holding her off and hoping to keep the girl away from her. Hearing the count and seeing the blondes lack of movement she knew that she had her beat if she could just go a few more seconds without.

"Three!"

Julia's eyes shut, and a deep groan filled with disappointment escaped her lips once the three count came. Despite her best attempts, the teamwork of the Pride Queens had simply overwhelmed her.

Still held down under Amy for the moment, Julia could do little more than wait for the bigger blonde to get off of her. She just hoped Alaina wouldn't be too disappointed in her performance tonight. But in any case, even in defeat, this was no doubt a valuable experience for Sonic Boom.

As the three count came Alaina shoved Kyoko away and made her way over to Julia, kneeling down. "Julia I am so sorry I left ya out there in the breeze and couldn't get to ya in time. If I knew sooner they were gonna do that I woulda broken up that pin and.... I am just really sorry." Alaina said, grabbing onto Julia to help her get to her feet and exit the ring.
