Anyway, I recently bought me one of those for my Playstation 2.
It feels good grasping one of those babies in my hand.

Feeling it's short, little shaft in my palm, with my thumb lightly touching the balltop. Then, how I jerk it around just to get my super moves off.

Sigh.....

If only you knew how freakay that sounded. but anyway on to the topic, yes MK2 and MK3 were the arcade games that took up my money all the time at every 7Eleven store over here in nyc. ah, the memories.

My fondest memories of arcade gaming in Mexico were KOF and METAL SLUG... Good Times.... Only 2 games I could find there though... lol

Actually SNK gets more revenue over here and other countries such as Mexico, Korea even Spain, more so than in the USA.
So does Tekken, but for reasons other than financial.

But there's a reason why the best KOF players are from here, Korea, Mexico, and other hispanic areas...
Why the best Tekken players only come strictly out of Korea...
And why Street Fighter players surge out of either Japan, or Socal/Norcal, USA...

Different properties move to areas where another arcade business can't gain revenue. It's complicated as fuck, but in short, SNK has been emulated so arcade owners can avoid start-up costs. That= SNK getting no money and everyone can play a game for 10cents per credit.

It truth......"Popular KOF spots" like Mexico are the reasons SNK went bankrupt.
