Saturday Night Super Spar: The Outsiders vs Sonic Boom

Alaina came charging at the giantess like a bat out of hell, her shoulder plowing into the ebony amazon's iron abs and the momentum doing what the blonde amazon had been looking to do when it was just the two of them: knock the biggest woman in the gym off her feet and onto her back. "Nggh!" Rebecca grunted, annoyed that Adrian's showboating had pretty much cost them in the spar and with the weight of Alaina on top of her, it was tempting to just concede the defeat and move on with lessons learned. Adrian however had other ideas.

The Hardcore champion was struggling in the tight pin to be sure, Julia was probably up to a count of two by now, but she wasn't trying to break the pin. Oh no, she was exactly where she... well she didn't want to have her shoulders on the mat but it would do. With one big shift she rolled the masked cowgirl back onto her shoulders while getting Adrian's off the canvas and allowed her to start her own count "One!"

Rebecca's ears perked up at the sound of a strained count and she knew it was her time to play blocker, and fortunately for her, Alaina was already stuck with her, the big Amazon reaching up to grab and hold on tight, not trying to squeeze or stretch, but to control the blonde and hold her in place, she wanted to be on top for it? Fine with her.

Alaina hammered Rebecca and was surprised her tactic worked as well as it did! However, her joy quickly turned into worry as she heard Adrian counting for a pin!? Alaina turned her head and sure enough the tables had turned! As she went to move, she suddenly found herself in the clutches of the powerful Rebecca!

"Argh! Let go!" Alaina shouted as she vainly tried to free herself. Her short-arm punches weren't doing anything to the giantess, and her flopping about might manage to get them to roll... but there was no way Alaina could make it to her tag partner in time to break up any pin count! She thought she was stopping Rebecca from preventing Sonic Booms victory, instead it was Rebecca stopping Alaina from preventing a potential Sonic Boom defeat!

“Two!” Julia had called out as she clung onto Adrian for dear life with the small package cover. Fancy and intricate rollups were something the luchadora had always been pretty good at, which had won her more than a handful of matches before coming to Japan. A standard small package was hardly intricate, but she had it nice and secured. And even though Adrian was squirming around, it didn’t seem the hardcore champ was going to be able to power out.

“Thr-- whoa!” Julia yelped out as she suddenly found herself on her back with Adrian’s limbs holding her in place! It turned out the brunette hadn’t been trying to power out at all, but to reverse the pin to put it on Julia! The count was already at one, and had likely made it to two by the time Julia finally started to struggle. She tried desperately to thrust her legs and break out of the pin, but with roughly a second to make the attempt, could she do it in time?!

"Two!" Adrian grunted, holding on for dear life. Adrian had used pinning combinations enough to know how to get the most out of them, especially when the person in them was thinking that they had already got the thing wrapped up in a nice neat package, pun not intended. Even with Julia's struggling she only needed a brief few seconds, and the element of surprise was enough. "Three!" She called out just before Julia forced her off and broke the pin, if she hadn't got that free one-count before the masked woman knew what happened then this spar would have carried on.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Rebecca relented and released Alaina from her grasp pushing herself up onto her ass as she looked at sonic boom "That... that kinda got a little heated for a bit there." She admitted, dusting herself off "Good match. Spar... whatever."

Julia managed to break out of the pin, but only after Adrian had already called out the three count. The luchadora quickly rolled to a knee and looked around, for a second hoping for some sign that she might’ve just beaten the count. But reality quickly set in, and Julia sighed while letting herself flop back down onto her back.

“Ugh, so close!” she said, lifting a boot up and dropping it back down. But Julia the slight disappointment she felt in herself over it, and she started to laugh a bit as she laid there. “Yeah, nice job, you two! That was fun.” she called out to the Outsiders, then was content to just lay there a moment longer to catch her breath. Sonic Boom may not’ve been able to overcome the veteran team tonight, but it was a great learning experience, and she felt good about the moments of teamwork between herself ad Alaina. If they could work that well together on a consistent basis - and if Julia could be a bit more careful about those rollup pins - she felt they’d be more than capable of making a good name for themselves in the tag division.

As Rebecca let go of Alaina, she rolled down onto the ring, laying on her back. She agreed that things weren't just a run-of-the-mill spar and the new team did in fact learn quite a bit. They didn't make it easy for Adrian and Rebecca to walk away victorious, that was for sure. Alaina slowly worked her way up and gave Rebecca a quick pat on the arm. "Yeah, good spar guys. You two are a really good team. I mean, I've seen your work individually and knew you were good but trying to take you on inside the ring helped put things in perspective." Alaina said as she made her way over to Julia.

Alaina knelt down to offer her hand to help Julia back up. "Just wait until we get a few tag matches together under our belt Julia, we'll be showing a lot of women in the tag division exactly what we are made of!" Alaina said in as upbeat a way as she could. Sure, losing sucked but she did learn quite a bit about operating in a tag team setting. Sonic Boom had won a tag match together before but the quality of opponent was a far cry from what they faced today.

Julia smiled and took her partner’s hand, then grunted a bit as she pulled herself back up with Alaina’s help. “You said it, girl!” she replied, throwing an arm around the Amazon for a quick side hug and pat on the back.

Then she went over to Adrian and extended a hand to offer a handshake, and to help her up if she hadn’t already gotten up herself. “As resourceful as ya are, it’s easy to see why you’re the Hardcore champ, even if we didn’t get around to using weapons tonight.” she said with a chuckle. “Really though, that was fun. Thanks for comin’ out here and sparin’ with us. Definitely wouldn’t mind playin’ with y’all again sometime.”

"Wooo!" Adrian let out as she remained flat on her back as the rest of the crew collectively patted themselves on the back, she'd earned a few seconds lying down without anyone jumping on top of her before breaking out into a small chuckle herself with the masked cowgirl. "Yeah, thanks. You two did great as well, can see why you both held the Entropy title. And why you still have it in your case." she said pointing back at Alaina before taking the handshake and help-up Julia offered.

"Did you have to dunk me on my head though?" Rebecca asked jokingly before she pushed herself back up to her feet "Gonna be feeling that wombo combo for a while."

Julia laughed a bit at Rebecca’s comment. “Sorry ‘bout that. Thanks for bein’ our guinea pig for that one though. We’d tried it out with dummies, but that was the first time used it on another wrestler.”

The cowgirl started stretching her arms out over her head, until her stomach growled, probably a bit too audibly. “Heh.. Guess I’m a little hungry... Hey, Alaina, how ‘bout we go grab a bit to eat in a bit?” she suggested, before turning to face Adrian and Rebecca again. “Y’all are welcome to come along too. What do ya say?”
