This was it, the culmination of everything Alaina had been striving for. She knew the match was going to be the toughest yet in her career. It didn't matter, she had to walk away with that title no matter what. She had to win, that belt had to be hers so the world knew what she knew: That she could be the best.

She was wearing a leopard print one piece swimsuit with matching boots as well as kneepads. She was doing her best to stay loose, not to let the gravity of main eventing the biggest show of the year get to her. Alaina took a deep breath and began to leave the locker room walking through the arena halls. She could feel it. Tonight was her night.

As her music began to play she came out all smiles as she waved to the crowd, high fiving fans all the way down the ramp before going all around the ring, grinning the entire time. She slid underneath the bottom rope and stood in the middle of the ring, striking a few pises as she winked to the crowd, flexing her arms to show off her figure. After a moment she leaned back in to her corner to await the new Adrian, waiting for her to come to Alaina could beat her for that title.

Adrian Kytes stepped through the curtain in full Club Regalia, the AFW championship around her waist and a smug smile on her face as she stood on top of the stage. After so many years, so many times she'd scrambled up the mountain only to be cut off half-way up, six years since her first taste of the main event she was finally walking out as AFW champion and all it had cost her was the love of the fans she had accrued since she decided to knuckle down and play it semi-fair to get to the top. "Worth it." She chuckled as she loaded up a finger gun at the Amazon in the ring, letting it fire as the pyro erupted around her.

A ringing in her ears drowned out the boos as she walked to the ring, none of the panicked anger that had bubbled up to the surface last year showing as she slid across the mat, quickly climbing the turnbuckle to smug it up to the crowd "Brains over brawn people, get with the program!" She called out to the jeering audience before she stepped down from her perch, handing over both her glasses and jacket... but it took a little bit more persuading by the referee to get the Bullet Club Commando to part with her precious championship, even letting Adrian give it a kiss goodbye before it was held up between them. "It's still mine, it's got my lipstick on it."

Alaina watched Adrian, her steely glare never leaving the woman. She looked focused and cold as she stared a hole through Adrian. "That is cute, too bad it won't be yours much longer." Alaina said as she stood with her hands on her hips stepping forward to the middle of the ring. "No matter what you try to pull or what you throw at me I am walking out of here with that belt." Alaina added before waiting for the referee to do their check.

Once all the pageantry was finished Alaina glared at Adrian, waiting for the bell to ring. She couldn't wait to get her hands on this woman. That title meant too much to her. She had to get it. As soon as the bell did ring Alaina moved in, reaching out to try to tie up Adrian in a grapple! Alaina wanted to start things off slow, a slow burn instead of an explosion.

It didn't take a galactic brain for Adrian to realise that letting the Amazon get her hands on the former cosplayer was a recipe for early pain, and whatever Alaina wanted to do with the collar and elbow tie-up would have to wait for another time as the champ instead opted to kick the bigger woman in the gut to cut her off before those strong arms got around her neck. It might take a galactic brain to realise that brawling with someone who could bench twice as much as she weighed was probably not a good idea either, but with the initiative, it was the least bad option. Dictate the terms of the match and if it doesn't work out so well... that was a problem for later.

Alaina lunged in right in to Adrian's trap her abdomen being hammered by the fast, sudden kick! Alaina groaned and dropped to a knee, one arm cradling her abdomen where Adrian landed the first strike. It wasn't quite the start Alaina had expected. She knew Adrian was a deadly striker, a very smart wrestler and someone willing to do whatever it took to win. It was a tall order to defeat a woman like that, but it is exactly what Alaina planned to do.

Alaina tried to rise up, wary of being so close to Adrian in a compromised position like this. She would try to keep her free arm ready to block as a clumsy strike at this point would just leave herself very open to something even worse at Adrians hands. Alaina wanted to be aggressive but she also had to be smart tonight if she were to win that title belt!

Adrian was quick to back away after her initial kick, fearing a swinging reprisal but when nothing came the champion lunged back in, this time aiming her sights a little higher than the Amazon's abs. The former cosplayer swung her forearm in but was blocked at the last minute by the challenger's arm, the clunk of bone on bone forcing Adrian to jump back, rubbing and shaking her arm to get the sting out as she grumbled "Stupid freaking ow..."

Alaina had managed to stop Adrian from piling on, but both women were stunned for a very brief second. Alaina shook her head and kept herself zeroed in on Adrian trying to stay low, lunging forward to reach out and grab hold of Adrians ankles and grip them tight before yanking back to try to pull her legs right out from underneath her! Alaina wanted to keep hold and rise up still holding them in order to stomp down on Adrian's abdomen a couple times to try to soften her up before trying something bigger against the Friction champion!

"Whaa!" Adrian yelped as Alaina went back to basics, pulling the rug and her ankles out from under the champion with barely enough time to break her fall as she hit the ground flat on her back just in time for the Amazon to add insult to injury with a stomp to the stomach. "Gck!" Adrian let out as the pain of fifty sit-ups hit all at once thanks to the challenger's boot. Repeatedly. Still, Adrian wasn't about to take this attack lying down as she grabbed hold of Alaina's foot to stop the assault and push back with her own legs to break her grip, giving her time to retreat to the ropes.

Alaina felt the push of Adrian and stumbled back a few steps, gritting her teeth as she did not want to give Adrian any space. However the champion made it to the ropes and Alaina backed off, waiting for Adrian to rise. Once Adrian was up to her feet though Alaina would try to pounce. She rushed at Adrian, looking to lunge at her with her arm extended in an effort to crash into Adrian with a running clothesline. Adrian was close to the ropes so Alaina was hoping to smash into her with enough force to send her out of the ring to crash down on the ground below.
