Cross Promotional Tag Match: Akamatsu' s vs. Irish Amazons

Peggy felt her hair yanked, groaning as she was pulled up to her feet. "Sorry my boy, you will be the one who needs ice..." Peggy said quietly knowing that a suplex was coming. She hooked her free leg around one of Kyo's to stop the lift, using her fists to punch away at his side's.

Peggy was the suplex lover here, and wanted to show this to Kyo. She tried to set her legs up, wrap him around the waist and land a northern lights suplex on him instead!

Kyot had thought Peggy was worn down enough to try a suplex on her. He was proven dead wrong when the Irish girl snaked a heel around his, before driving her fist again and again into his side. He gasped and released Peggy, her brutal punches leaving visible marks on his and.

The next thing he knew, his eyes were briefly meeting Peggy's as his opponent latched her legs around his waist. That was just before he went spinning head over heels, slammed hard onto his back. He gaspedoudly, arching visibly from the impact as the audience cheered Peggy on.

Peggy gasped as she released the suplex rolling to her side as she planted Kyo to the mat. Peggy had to try to do more. Kyo was too tough for one move to have a major effect on. Peggy reached down to pull him up to his feet by the arm, trying to Irish whip him into the corner!

Kyo arched off the mat after being slammed down by the suplex, inadvertently giving Peggy and the audience a nice view of his abs before he toppled onto his side. That suplex had hurt quite a bit, and he now knew that Peggy had gained the reputation she had in Friction for good reason, given how she had managed to counter his suplex with one of her own.

She wasn't done, though. Kyo felt himself being dragged up, before he was whipped towards the corner post. He gasped loudly as his back slammed against it, eyes screwing shut in pain he slumped in the corner. Opening one eye, he saw Peggy running at him, leaping forward for a drop kick. Groaning, he threw himself to the side, willing his body to move to avoid a potentially match-ending blow from Peggy...

In the background, Makie began to clamber up against the corner post of her own side's corner, still sore from her earlier brutalization. She winced as she saw Kyo getting propelled into the corner, knowing that at this rate he'd be in trouble if Alaina was tagged. Come on, Kyo, get it together...

Peggy jumped up into the air and hammered nothing but turnbuckle! Her legs hurt from the shock and she hit the mat hard! Cursing under her breath, she felt her legs spasm a bit, her nerves a bit jarred from that hit. Using her arms to crawl, she began to crawl towards her corner, looking at an eager amazon whose arm was out-stretched as she leaned in reaching out to Peggy for a tag!

Alaina was urging Peggy over, literally bouncing with a foot on the bottom rope as she leaned in! If she could just get in there before Kyo could make a tag she knew she would be able to take control of this match for her team!

There was an ear splitting screech as Peggy collided leg first with the corner post. From where we was lying on his side, he saw the Irish girl hit the mat, her leg twitching like a misfiring cable. That hit to her leg must have done more damage than he realized. Even as he watched, Peggy turned and began to crawl across the ring, but it was clearly a slow and very painful process.

Slowly, Kyo pushed himself to his feet. His back was still sore from that suplex, but even so, he still could have intercepted Peggy easily. But at the same time, his own personal code of honour quelled the idea-- not when Peggy was so visibly hampered, and not when he had no idea how serious her injury was. It would be a brutally unfair fight, especially against a wrestler with such an esteemed pedigree.

"If I'm going to fight the niece of the great Velvet McIntye," he said, unsure if his fierce Irish opponent could hear him, "then I want to fight her at her best." And with that, he leaned into his corner and rested a bit, letting Peggy make the crawl to her own corner. Some in the audience cheered his chivalry. Some openly booed and derided his act as a patronizing one. From his corner, he heard Makie groan weakly and call him an idiot for letting "that crazy Irish bitch" get away.

It didn't matter now. For better or, most likely, for worse, he would have to face Alaina next...

Peggy felt a lot of things at the moment, mostly pain in her leg. However she did appreciate Kyo's gesture on one hand, and she also felt like he was not taking her seriously. He was willingly letting her go because she was inferior, and confident enough not to worry about a fresh Alaina. All in all she couldn't feel good about her current situation, crawling like a broken woman on the mat She tagged Alaina in and rolled underneath the ropes, laying on the apron before using the ropes to climb up.

Alaina come in and saw Kyo sitting there waiting. She noted that he let Peggy in, and also didn't seem to be in a rush to engage Alaina. She grit her teeth and moved his way eager to get her hands on him. Alaina wanted to grapple with him, knowing that he was roughly the same size as her. She was going to show him what kind of strength she had, coupled with the intensity and drive she brought. Sitting back nonchalant in the corner wasn't going to get the job done against her or Peggy. Alaina felt some of what Peggy did, and wanted to show the Tension crowd that her team wasn't glass cannons or pushovers.

Despite whatever Alaina thought, Kyo was not casually waiting for her-- rather, he was leaning in the corner for support as he recovered from the rough beating Peggy had given him. As Alaina rolled into the ring, Kyo pushed himself off the turnbuckle, having given himself a few vital seconds to recuperate. And he had needed them-- up close, Alaina was definitely a physically imposing sight. The fact that she seemed visibly angry about what had happened to Peggy didn't help matters.

"A pleasure to face you at last, Sanders-san," he said politely, never taking his eyes off of her as he circled her. Without a further word, he would dart in, meeting her grapple head on as the two locked up, collar and elbow, pushing and twisting in a test of strength!

The guy seemed polite, and in Alaina's mind she had begun to shift her perception of his previous actions. She had been around the ring longer and was realizing that he was just being polite with Peggy. Her stubborn pride would heal over time, although Alaina knew a good showing in the match would help her quite a bit.

"Likewise." Alaina said with a slight nod as the contest of strength began. If her realizing his better nature changed the look on her face it sure didn't change her focus or intensity. As they two grappled Alaina shouted as she put everything she had into showing Kyo that she was the alpha powerhouse in the ring tonight! She knew it was going to be tough, his own strength was up there with hers! However she kept trying to force him back into a corner to establish herself and gain a slight edge in the mental game against Kyo.

There was a brief moment of silent intensity as the two of them locked eyes, the unspoken message passing between them that there would be backing down from either of them. Then, the quiet evaporated as the two of them collided, arms locking as they pushed and twisted against one another in a classic tie-up. Kyo gritted his teeth, finding his forehead pressing against Alaina's as the two locked eyes and arms, quickly discovering that the Amazon was every bit as strong as he had anticipated, if not more so.

She was definitely stronger than him, that much he discovered as he felt himself being forced back, step by step. If she thought she was going gain a mental edge over this way, though, then she didn't know him at all. "I see...you're just as strong...as I heard..." he managed to compliment her through gritted teeth. "But...you're not...the strongest I've fought..."

And with that, Kyo would suddenly relax his grip and twist, hoping to use Alaina's own built up momentum against her to whip her into the corner post. If he managed that then he would quickly try to follow up, dropping down to ram a shoulder into the Amazon's midsection!
