Cross Promotional Tag Match: Akamatsu' s vs. Irish Amazons

This was a bit different, but Alaina didn't mind. She wrestled in Tension before as did Peggy. The duo were primed to get a tag match after announcing they were an official team. "All right Pegs, we are gonna go out there and show the Tension crowd what a pair of Friction ladies are capable of!" Alaina said as she stood tall, hands on her hips.

Peggy was looking herself over, and grinned. "Allie girl, we are gonna send them back to the locker room cryin' their little eyes out. No way they can hang with us. Let's do this!" Peggy said as the two left the locker room and made their way to the ramp.

As their music played each one came out, high fiving fans down the ramp. At the bottom Alaina flexed her arms and showed off her form while Peggy jumped up onto the apron and then over the ropes to enter the ring. Alaina slid in soon after underneath the bottom rope. After posing in the middle and Tami g in the cheers of fans familiar with the Friction invaders, the Irish Amazon's settled in to their corner. Alaina leaned against the turnbuckle as Peggy climbed to the outside, standing on the apron and ready to come in whenever Alaina wanted to tag out.

Before long, yet more thrmr music began to play, and the Amazons' opponents strode into the ring. The audience immediately burst into cheers as the Akamatsu siblings made their entrance-- Kyo, his usual aloof self, while Makie, by contrast, waved at and hi-fived the crowd. This was a matchup that a lot of people had been waiting for: two teams of well known faces from Friction and Tension about to throw down.

As they slid into the ring, Kyo eyed both of his opponents briefly, noting Alaina's well-toned physique, and Peggy's evident flexibility Both were going to be unique challenges in their own right, and both would be skilled opponents, and...at that point, he realized that his eyes had been lingering a little too long on both of them. Stifling a blush, he instead smiled, and did his usual, polite bow. "Miss Sanders, Miss McIntyre," he said with a smile. "I have seen both of you in action before in Friction, so I'm not mincing words when I say it's an honour to be fighting against you two."

Makie, as usual, rolled her eyes a little at Kyo's officiousness. "Yeah, what he said," she muttered, putting her hands on her hips, before smiling a little. "But seriously, though...I keep hearing about you! It's crazy that we haven't run into the ring before until now! I guess this means I have a chance to kick both of your asses, don't I?"

This was a very pleasant surprise to both women. Alaina smiled and nodded, Peggy doing the same as she climbed back into the ring. Both members of the Irish Amazons approached the siblings, hands held out for a handshake. They could get sued to this sort of professionalism and lack of sneak attacks.

"IT is great to meet the both of you. We've heard nothing but good things about your ability inside the ropes so the crowd will have one hell of a show tonight won't they?" Alaina said with a smile as she stood up close to the siblings. She gave them a quick looking over. Based on looks alone they seemed a bit like Irish Amazons, one member had more power and the other looked to be more proficient in speed. However, Alaina knew never to go by looks alone.

Peggy grinned as she approached, noticing Kyo's look. Given Alaina's recent breakup, Peggy took it upon herself to grin and make light of his extended glance. "It looks like someone was takin' in a lot of what they saw. I hope ya like what ya see lad." Peggy said with a wink and muffled chuckle. She would have never had the courage to say that before, but after working a year with Alaina she was in way better shape than before, more capable than before.

As the Irish Amazons approached for a handshake, Kyo and Makie gladly reciprocated, giving their two opponents each a firm handshake. The crowd cheered loudly and appreciatively of this act of pre-match sportsmanship, seeing that these two teams of faces were already taking a liking to each other. "Just don't think we're going to go easy on you because of this, though, okay?" Makie said with a wink. "Kyo and I intend to walk out of here the winners, right Kyo?"

Kyo nodded. "I hope you two are as good as your reputations say," he said, "because neither of us are going to go easy on you." Of course, he had seen a few matches involving both Alaina and Peggy, and knew that they were already tough competitors, but still, there was nothing wrong with a little friendly pre-match banter. As Peggy noticed his watchful gaze and made her teasing comment, however, Kyo blushed deeply. "I...I...wait, I wasn't..." he stammered, taken aback, as always, when his female opponents laid on the charm. That flitatious wink from Peggy wasn't helping matters.

Sighing, Makie grabbed a hold of her brother's ear and yanked him back. "Corner, now, doofus," she grumbled, pulling Kyo away before smiling daringly at the Amazons. "So...which of you two bonnie lasses is up first?" she declared.

"That's Scottish, not Irish, Makie," Kyo said as he backed away.

"Um...well...whatever, the question still stands!" Makie pouted.

Alaina was all smiles as the siblings spoke, and she playfully clapped along as they boast of victory. "Ohhh I see. Unfortunately for you we don't plan on rolling over and letting you win. I am not sure ya know who you are in the ring with tonight kids." Alaian said with a grin.

Peggy stood with her hands on her hips also smiling. "Right, and Scotland is close to Ireland relatively speaking so I can let that one slide. Unfortunately ya get stuck with the big lass right here. Try not to get too beat up, I need something to clean up when I enter all right?" Peggy said with another wink as she climbed through the ropes, looking back at Kyo, and arching her back as she bent over between the ropes, accentuating it just a bit to continue her mind game. Peggy knew as cheesy as acting it up was, when against Kyo she and Alaina had an extra tool available. Peggy would be remiss not to use it, and tried to keep Kyo out of focus.

Alaina meanwhile stayed in the ring and stood tall over her opponent. As the bell rang she circled and crouched low, lunging in and trying to kick things off with a good old grapple!

As Kyo returned to their corner and Peggy returned to hers, Makie noticed Peggy deliberately arching in a way that accentuated the curve of her back as she slid under the ropes. Certainly Kyo noticed it, as she saw her brother redden further and then hurriedly look away. She sighed. Damn it, she hoped Kyo could at least keep his head in the game in this match. At least Alaina wasn't being all flirty as well.

Speaking of whom...she turned to face Alaina. "So you're the big bad amazon," Makie quipped as she circled her foe, grinning up at her. She wasn't showing any trepidation over the vast size difference between them. "You know, I thought you'd be bigger."

The moment the bell rang, and Alaina came lunging, Makie sprang into action, running at the big gal in turn and spinning to the side, aiming to grab for Alaina's wrist and use her momentum against her, hopefully surprising her with a timely judo toss!

Alaina raised an eyebrow at Makie as she spoke to her. "You are gonna eat those words kid." Alaina said as the bell rang.

Alaian rushed in, and found that Makie was the one making the amazon eat her words! Alaina lunged and missed, feeling Makie grab on and send Alaina sailing down onto the mat! She groaned in pain as she laid there, rolling onto her stomach and making her way back up to her feet. She shook her head, focusing on Makie again, trying to make it up before Makie could bury her further in the hole to start things off!

The audience roared as Makie executed the judo toss, flipping her larger opponent head over heels and sending her crashing to the mat in an impressive start to the match. Makie wanted nothing more than to engage in further banter, to say something along the lines of "They bigger they are...well, you know the rest," but unfortunately, Alaina was already rolling back up to her feet. Not only was she bigger, but she could also take a hit.

Running towards the ropes, Makie rebounded off of them back at Alaina and leapt at her, legs-first, hoping that Alaina was still a little woozy as she tried to nail her in a hurricanrana! Right off the bat, Makie was trying to blitz her larger opponent and keep her reeling.

Alaina saw Makie coming and running forward. She braced herself and as Makie leapt up Alaina stepped to the side and brought her arms up, shoving Makie forward. She knew it wasn't a great counter but she didn't want to risk going for the power bomb counter since there was a chance Makie was moving too quickly for Alaina to properly set up, which would have resulted in the successful hurricanrana. Her counter would lead to Makie landing on her feet, no harm done. At least Alaina wasn't sent flying overhead and landing on her back again.

Still, she had Makie on her feet, and Alaina was still up. Alaina ran at Makie this time, at the last second extending her arm and trying to catch the speedy wrestler with a clothesline to the upper chest! Alaina hoped it would connect, otherwise she would go flying past Makie and likely set herself up for something else MAkie could do to further make her look like a big bumbling woman!

Makie thought she had Alaina on the ropes, figuratively speaking. In retrospect, she should have realized that a ring veteran like the Amazon Alaina wouldn't be winded by a since powerful kick like that. As Makie bounced back at her, Alaina reacted quickly-- very quickly, in fact, with a speed that belied her size, dodging Makie's kick. Landing uneasily on her feet, Makie spun around, just in time to see Alaina lashing out with a forearm that chopped across Makie's chest before she could react!

Punched off her feet by the blow, Makie crashed onto her back and was sent rolling head over heels. Using the momentum, Makie kicked back, rolling up to her feet again...although she did so wobbily, breathing hard after that brutal clothesline. "Nnngh...n..not bad..." she said, not wanting to give Alaina the pleasure of seeing how much that had hurt.
