The Value of Gold

Recently, Clyde Gastin had helped fellow Tension Wrestlers, Johnny Higurashi and Ninjette deal with the menace known as Killer King and crew of ass hats. The cowboy didn't know Ninjette and while he saw Johnny as a friend, they were not close at all Still, Clyde had decided on his own to help those two against King after his Crew had interfered in the Tension Battle Royal, which resulted in Clyde's elimination. He had beaten Eagle, but it just felt right to help Johnny and Ninjette against King, apparently the ass whooping he got from Taylor wasn't enough, but no big deal. Clyde was eager to give him another. At Showdown Clyde, Johnny and Ninjette would face King's crew.

Not long after that, Clyde was invited to some nearby gardens by a miss... Melissa Sellers?

Clyde looked at his phone and scowled before storming out of the complex and making his way to those Gardens, clad in a slim black suit, matching loafers, slim tie and a white shirt as he went towards the Gardens. He already had some terrible stuff in his life going on now Melissa wanted in!? Clyde was less than thrilled.



So he'd stomp along into the beautiful, calm looking Gardens. Such a nice, peaceful serene place. He didn't think to admire it, normally he would but anytime Melissa wanted to see him, he only expected awful things. So he'd continue looking for the woman with clear impatience in his expression. Eventually being unable to take it.

"MELISSA!!!" He hollered in frustration.

Clyde's out of place yelling garnered no response... Not even from confused onlookers as he broke the peace.

In fact, if he were to take the time and examine the scene a little closer he would notice that there was no onlookers around to actually confused.. Which in itself was confusing.

Atop a grassy mound sat a Japanese style wooden hut with authentic looking white sliding doors that were open just a crack. A very faint amount of steam gently wafting out and into the open afternoon air. The cowboy would have to cross a short wooden bridge across a miniature river on his approach to the hut.

Inside and at a low down circular yin yang design table knelt Melissa, she was dressed in a black kimono (silk as with many items in her wardrobe) with a pink petal design down both sides of the attire. Upon hearing the yell, she sighed but refrained from moving other than to lift up a small pot from the table and start pouring a green liquor into a saucer bowl. Waiting patiently for him to find his way up into the hut.

Eventually he noticed the grassy mound with the wooden hut. Clyde furrowed his brow and hurried across the bridge, making his way up to the hut and sliding the doors to find Melissa, clad in her kimono. She was a beautiful lady, no doubt about it. A tall, hot blonde with all the right curves and a frozen, rotten heart on the inside.

"Hmph." Clyde huffed, kicking off his loafers, dropping to his knees in front of the table, sitting across from Melissa now.

"Melissa." He muttered simply with a bitter frown. "...I hope you enjoyed the Handicap Match you put me in..." He growled, having not forgotten the humiliation that she and her Thorns had put him through.

"Mr Gastin.." She spoke as Clyde greeted her by her name alone. She put the pot down on the table and carefully lifted the saucer bowl up in one delicately placed hand while the other rested on her thigh.

"I'm glad to see you decided to dress appropriately for the setting.. As much as I am sure you wished to wear that trust hat of yours deary." Melissa brought the bowl to her lips and carefully took a sip, letting her eyes flutter half closed as she sipped and took time to taste the tea.

"The handicap match you refer to was born out of your performance in Showdown's Hentai title match... It was your own doing.... But as I see you are minus your self imposed manageress, I assume that you won't snuff at the next title match opportunity you are given?"

"...." Clyde's eye twitched at the mention of his beloved hat. The hat he no longer had thanks to Emi Keyes taking it away! And Melissa was rubbing it in!!!

But the boy listened as he scowled, scoffing that it was his fault. "Tch." He scoffed and turned his head, perhaps it was? Either way, Melissa bringing up his next title opportunity peaked his interest for a moment before he shook his head.

"If it's another Hentai Title match, you can count me out, lady." Clyde answered quickly.

"You seem somewhat agitated.." Melissa said as she examined the tone of Clyde's voice and the twitch of his eye after her comment "Perhaps a helping of herbal tea will see you fit." She said indicating to the bowll and pot in front of them on the table. She calmly brought her own saucer bowl to her lips again to take another sip, taking her dear sweet time about it as well...

Clyde scowled. "You've made it a thing to constantly try to ruin my life. You pitted me against a woman who wanted to enslave me, made my girlfriend break up with me, you put me in a 3 on 1 handicap match the day of the battle royal, that got my arm dislocated before I got freakin' raped and humiliated! Agitated AIN'T the word!" Clyde ranted angrily as Melissa poured the tea.

"I was suggesting tea, not asking for a life story deary..." She said blazayly disregarding her involvement in making Clyde's life hell... But other than her taunting words, she did nod in approval when Clyde decided to take some of the tea. With the one hand she moved her bowl in a circular motion so as to swirl the green liquor within it

"And quite frankly with your previous displays you should think yourself lucky that I allow you to speak the words 'Hentai title' in my presence. The whole world has already seen that you are by far not a match for Ms. Minetti, so I do not need to ring the same bell"

Clyde rolled his eyes and eyed the bowl cautiously, as if expecting poison in the drink. He then took a long drink of the green liquor before looking to Melissa with clear annoyance. "Allow me? Not a match?" He scoffed.

"Lady. Please. I took on your little Thorns all by myself and it wasn't until Aoi played dirty and took out my arm that they were able to actually win. Hell, I didn't even fight Angela but I still gave Poison are hard time in the Battle Royal with only one good arm." He shook his head before he recalled something and started to laugh

"Hell! Yer girl Reira wouldn't even be champ if I didn't come back to ruin Poison's day. I hear she's your new favorite too..." He smirked. "I ain't afriad of nobody and can beat, anybody.

"Had you not interfered... Ms. Poison of the Thorns would have won..." Melissa as she repeated in essence what Clyde had just said "But you *did* interfere and instead Ms. Kirishima of the Thorns won... What does that tell you Mr. Gastin?"

"Sellers women are adapt at ensuring we end up on top deary... Cassandra would not be where she is if not for that and if you ever met our sister, I'm sure you would do so from under her foot.

All three of us have our own ways at ensuring that we end up on top..." Melissa put down her bowl and reached for the pot after Clyde, perhaps reducing his paranoid concerns of poison as she poured a little more tea into her saucer bowl in front of him

"I do so by engineering situations" she put the pot back down and then picked up the bowl again, bringing it up to her lips but stopping short of actually sipping from it as she looked over at the Texan, her gray eyes shielded slightly by a veil of steam rising from her tea

"I plan to give you a title shot... A non-hentai title shot, should you wish it."
