An Interesting Contender(For Bluemouse)

"Well I am, a little," Tomomi said, not admitting that she probably couldn't out-grapple Cassie. Though perhaps she was a bit stronger, going by Cassie's slight build. Either way, it would all become clear in the test of strength who was really stronger.

She saw Cassie moving forward, but then noticed that the girl wasn't raising her arms up to meet the test of strength. Still, she pretended not to notice and to let Cassie get close into real grappling range. When Cassie grabbed Tomomi around the waist, she was ready. Instead of letting Cassie pull upwards, Tomomi grabbed Cassie's arms and pushed down, aiming to demonstrate her superior strength to her by keeping Cassie from lifting her up. She would then attempt to push forward with her legs, and push Cassie over with her on top!

Cassie grinned when Tomomi defended her waistlock. "Good! Oh-" She just didn't intend for Tomomi to end up on top. That was okay, though.

As Tomomi crashed down on top of her Cassie hooked an arm under one of Tomomi's legs and used her leverage and Tomomi's momentum to roll her over. She hugged Tomomi's legs tightly together and kept her head pressed against Tomomi's thigh to make sure that Tomomi wasn't going to get the leverage to muscle her around.

"Um, we can negotiate on the rules if you'd like." Cassie just wanted Tomomi to be happy with having her as a new associate.

Tomomi thought she had managed to get Cassie in a tough position, now that she was on top. But the girl was really fast, changing positions before Tomomi even had a chance to properly react! "Wha-" Tomomi gasped when suddenly Cassie grabbed her leg from below and with a quick flip ended up on top! This girl really was skilled at grappling, pulling off a move Tomomi didn't even know was possible.

But though Cassie kept Tomomi's legs immobilized, her arms were still free. Tomomi quickly attempted to sit up, and in the same motion wrap her arm around the back of Cassie's neck to catch her in a reverse sleeper! "How about first to get a submission wins?" Tomomi asked, knowing that in a grappling match it usually ended that way.

Cassie tried to reply, but she was muffled by Tomomi's arm across her face. She kept her chin tucked tightly against her chest to keep Tomomi from reaching her throat. She could feel the difference in strength, too... she wondered if she'd be the weakest one in the league. That's' what the gym was for, she thought.

From Tomomi's angle, she'd have a hard time sinking in her choke. Cassie pulled her head back and pushed down on Tomomi's arm with one hand and grabbed Tomomi's wrist with the other. With some leverage and some wriggling she managed to pop her head out. "Worry about position before you attempt subs!" She said cheerfully while skipping her legs around to the side so that she her upper body was laying on top of Tomomi's and her legs were tucked against Tomomi's side.

"See?" She fished for Tomomi's far side wrist, trying to grab hold of it and press it down on the mat.

It wasn't as if Tomomi just let Cassie go, she made it as hard as possible for the girl to wriggle her head out, but she still did. Position did matter in this case, since Tomomi really couldn't properly lock in that submission. And now Cassie was free, with Tomomi struggling beneath her.

Cassie quickly changed positions yet again, getting her legs at Tomomi's side, lying across in a cross-body pin fashion with one hand still in her grip. Tomomi saw Cassie reaching to grab her other hand, knowing that she couldn't let her do it. So instead, she decided to try and grab Cassie's free arm by the wrist instead, while curing up her legs and attempting to buck Cassie off of her body.

"Oh!" Cassie was startled by Tomomi's sudden exertion. She abandoned her position rather than try to regain it after Tomomi bucked out from under her. She slid further around Tomomi so that she was on one knee at her head, and to prevent her from going anywhere too fast Cassie grabbed Tomomi's hair and tugged at it playfully.

"It's thick, too! Makes a very nice handle." Cassie giggled. She wanted to see what else this girl had for her, so she didn't try to wrap her up and sink in a submission. She was trying to tone down her jujitsu, even if it meant being a bit more vulnerable.

Tomomi quickly got on her knees as well, and was about to stand up when she felt Cassie tug at her hair. "Yow!" she yelped in pain, looking back around to find Cassie playfully yanking on it. That got Tomomi rather angry, as she thought Cassie was mocking her now. One hand shot back, grabbing Cassie around the leg while Tomomi attempted to turn around and face Cassie. Her other hand would shoot for Cassie's throat, attempting to grab on there and force Cassie back down onto the mat, held in place by a nasty choke!

Tomomi's sudden violent turn roused the butterflies in Cassie's stomach. Had she made her angry? Or... was she just a jerk, trying to beat down the new girl or something.

She didn't have any time to think about it as she quickly found herself on her back and unable to breathe. She wasn't prepared for that, and she was suddenly afraid, feeling the tingle of adrenaline hitting her veins. Her eyes widened. She wanted to cry. But she knew the right thing to do would be to fight back and avoid the possibility of Tomomi beating her up in the first place.

She threw her legs up, one under Tomomi's extended arm and the other around the back of Tomomi's head. She folded one leg over the other in a figure four position to cinch them in place. Then she made a fist and pounded it as hard as she could against the outside of Tomomi's elbow while her other hand tried to dislodge Tomomi's choking hand.. If she could get her off her throat, she could sink in her own triangle choke. If not, it's either be a much shorter night or a much longer night.

After brining Cassie down with the rough choke, Tomomi looked down, her eyes angry. "Don't pull my hair like that," she said, "It's not a nice thing to do!" Before she could continue though, Cassie's hand smashed into her elbow. Tomomi yelped, immediately aborting the hold. What Cassie didn't know that a few months before, Tomomi had had her arm broken in a match, and even now getting hit there sent nasty amounts of pain through her body. It was bad enough that she didn't quite notice the triangle choke until Cassie had locked it in!

"Nngh!" Tomomi gasped, feeling the choke sap her strength. Still, she wasn't about to give up to this level of attack. Struggling to her feet, Tomomi aimed to get up in a standing position, and then to turn around to make the hold awkward to maintain. Should Cassie let go, Tomomi would immediately grab one of Cassie's legs and turn her over into a single-leg boston crab!

"I wasn't- I-you... fine, but you don't have to get so angry." Cassie said, a little hurt.

Cassie immediately reached to the side to hook Tomomi's leg to keep her from being able to get it under her. There was no way she was going easy on her now. Maybe she was overreacting, but she really didn't want to end her first night in the hospital after even winning her match. But... maybe she was overreacting. Either way, the game was first sub.

Cassie squeezed her legs together, pushed her hips up, and pulled down on Tomomi's head with her free hand to cut off her air supply. She had learned something from her, she thought, and that was that she shouldn't be so trusting of people when all alone in the ring. She just wanted to tap her and move on and be safe.
