An Interesting Encounter

It was a late night and Brandon was working out at the Gym, he hadn't spent too much time in the AFW at this point but had gotten himself used to where he was and had quite the look around. His body was in good shape already so he had decided to try and increase his endurance for his matches, so he had mainly spent his time running on the treadmill. His face was dripping in sweat as he continued to run. His mind had drifted off as the music from his earphones kept him company.

Dave had just been finishing up work on a punching bag nearby for the past half hour, already working up quite the sweat on his own body. He decided to be dressed in his new wrestling gear, as his other clothes were in the wash right now. What better way to kill time than hit the gym right? After all, with Raiden still injured, the two of them wouldn't be able to do any physical activities for a while. So after letting his boyfriend know where he was going, he came by the gym and decided to do a work out.

Brandon finally stopped on the treadmill and took a swig of water from his bottle as he looked at himself in the gym's mirror. He had decided just to wear his red basketball jersey and shorts today. As he looked at himself he noticed someone walk in. Brandon was surprised to see a guy come in to work out in what appeared to be wrestling gear, he didn't expect anyone else to come work out at such a time. As Brandon further watched the individual he felt like he recognised him from the matches he had seen. "David something....i'm sure of it." he thought to himself. Brandon decided he might as well introduce himself to the guy, "Might as well get myself known around here I guess." he thought as he walked over.

Brandon came up to him with a smirk and extended his hand "Hey! I'm Brandon Miller, sorry I'm kinda new around here."

Dave continued to hammer away at the bag, sending it swinging on it's chain lightly from the hard impacts. Pausing when the new guy made his presence known, he pulled away, wiping his face with a towel and smiling, "Nice to meet you. Dave Blake."

He accepted the handshake and smiled, "Trying to get accustomed to everything here?"

Brandon had noticed walking up how hard the man could hit the punching bag, it was some impressive strength he had to admit.

"Yeah, I've had a good look around the arena and decided to come to the gym tonight, want to try and improve myself for my matches, that sorta thing." He said with a short laugh as he took another swig of his water bottle. "Would you have any tips if you don't mind me asking?"

Dave laughed, "Yeah, try not to get jumped while training. Happened to me quite a few times."

Finally finishing up with the punching back, Dave wiped himself off, picking up a water bottle and downing quite a bit to cool himself off. To be honest he was glad some new guys were in tension. Some of the other males here were not interested in wrestling guys at all.

"Jumped? I see....I take it not everyone here is exactly friendly?"

As Dave went back to the punching bag Brandon decided to get his towel and wipe the sweat off of his face. As he put the towel away he couldn't help but watch as Dave drank the water, he had quite the impressive body he had to say...suddenly a thought came to mind. "Hey, I was thinking...if you've got the time, would you be up for a quick match? It could be fun, and besides, it'd be a good opportunity for me to wipe off the ring rust!" Brandon said with a smirk as he stretched his muscles.

Taking a loo at the ring, Dave smiled at Brandon, " Yeah I got some free time on my hands....why not? How do you wanna do this? Long pin, maybe a 5 count? How does that sound to you?"

As he talked, he took another moment to wipe the sweat off his body, before heading to the ring and sliding in, turning to face Brandon.

Brandon smiled back as Dave accepted the offer. "Yeah sure, that sounds good to me!"

Brandon watched as Dave entered the ring first before entering in himself, he felt a lot more confident knowing there was no one here to watch the match. He knew he wasn't well prepared, wrestling in his gym gear compared to Dave's wrestling attire, but that wasn't going to stop him by any means.

Brandon started by offering his hand in the air for a test-of-strength lock up. If Dave took the offer, Brandon would try and take the opportunity to hit a surprise kick to the gut! Brandon knew it was a dirty move, but he wanted to try and do whatever it takes to win and leave an important first impression.

Dave was still a little tired from his workout, but he pushed his doubts aside for this little bout. Nothing too bad right? Accepting the hand, Dave was surprised to catch a kick to his midsection! The kick bent him in half, sending spit flying from his mouth as the air was knocked out of his lungs completely.
