Peggy McIntyre vs. Sakura Hagiwara

Peggy smiled as Sakura crumpled to the mat and rolled on top of her hooking a leg, looking every bit a triumphant wrestler as she could!

"ONE!"

"You are better than I thought but ya aren't enough he handle the likes of me or my mentor lass.
Just do yourself a favor n' stay down!"

Sakura was nailed on the floor with a hard hitting ddt, which had her seeing stars in broad daylight. She felt the weight of her opponent pile up on top of her as she hooked her leg and the referee did her job while Peggy taunted.

"Y-your mentor?! she would moaning as the referee counted to two. With that she remembered her own mentor and her own training, by sheer will and determination, the raven haired wrestler dug deep into her reserves and managed to kick out!

Peggy felt Sakura kick out and continue the match! She shook her head and got up to her feet. Peggy was going to ruin Sakura's day in the ring if she could.

Peggy got up and ran to the ropes at the other end of the ring, bouncing off and rocketing back at Sakura. Peggy wanted to level her woth a shining wizard, hoping that Sakura would cooperate and stay still for just a moment...

Sakura kicked out but only barely, she couldn't let her opponent dictate the pace of the match like that otherwise she wouldn't have much of a chance of a comeback. As she felt her opponent got up off her and onto her feet, Sakura waited a bit until Peggy bounced off the ring ropes.

Sakura would shift up to a runners kick-start position before thrusting forward when Peggy would bounce off the ring ropes back towards her, hoping to catch the Irishwoman off guard as the idol wrestler would attempt a high drop kick aimed at her opponents chest.

Peggy rushed at Sakura, leaping forward as Sakura jumped up! Peggy's attempt to out Sakura away had failed miserably as the dropkick hammered her chest, sending her to the mat in a heap!

Peggy groaned in pain as she laid there, kicking the mat and clutching her chest as she gasped for breath.

Sakura managed to neutralize her opponent with a quick drop-kick which caught the Irishlass off guard and send her tumbling onto the ring floor. Sakura quickly got back up and took a moment to catch her breath. "Alright....time to hit the big one" she would say fist pumping the air.

Sakura would grab her opponent by the head to pull her up to meet her face to face, Sakura would grab her opponent's arm and get in behind Peggy, wrapping Peggy's own arm around her throat as she went in behind, still gripping her wrists. Sakura would arch backwards, looking to pull Peggy up and off her feet and slam her down onto the mat, on the back of her head and shoulders as she looked to execute her mentors signature move, the Misaki special.

Peggy was groggy and unable to stop Sakura from grabbing hold of her, screaming as she sailed through the air and landed hard on the mat! She howled in pain and slowly, weakly wiggled about ineffectively as the pin began!

"ONE!"

Peggy was stuck, fighting as hard as she could to no avail as pain courses through her head, neck and upper back!

Sakura managed to hit the big one, the Misaki special on her opponent. Misaki taught her protege this move against pesky opponents and usually it did wonders for the berserk ace. Sakura felt she would follow in her mentors footstep and try it for her own matches.

Sakura grimaced while holding her position in the bridge pin. "TWO" the referee would count. In her heart, Sakura was praying to hear that three count now.

Peggy couldn't let the match end like this, no way! She cried out and thrust up feeling herself breaking out of the pin and managing to...

"THREE!"

...free herself a fraction of a second too late. Peggy moaned and felt her eyes practically tearing up. She was a second generation wrestler out to prove her family wasn't a bunch of foreign jobbers unfit for a Japanese ring... and she just lost to a teenage singer! "J-just get offa me.." Peggy groaned as she flailed until Sakura had gotten up, rolling to her side and burying her face in her hands, already hearing her aunt Velvet's voice on the phone asking her how the hell she lost to a pop star when she was supposedly a wrestler.

Sakura felt her mentor's finishing move hit her opponent in a devastating way. This was going to be it, Sakura could feel it! Her first ever Friction win in the AFW! Sakura heart throbbed in excitement as she covered her opponent.

When the referee counted till three, Sakura's eyes went wide and she smiled in excitement, she released her opponent's leg and quickly got back up, the adrenaline in her body making her temporarily forget the pain in her body. The former teen idol actually defeated a friction wrestler in AFW!

She heard her opponent groan and pleaded for Sakura to get off. Sakura had respect for all of her opponents and did what she was told, she was not going to rub salt in her opponent's wound. Sakura would get off then raise her arms up high, bouncing on her heels in excitement before offering her hand to help Peggy up. "Nice match"
