Peggy McIntyre vs. Kei

Peggy waited backstage, pacing. she was facing a rival of one of her teachers and knew this was going to be a hell of a fight. She would have to bring her absolute best to even have a chance to win. She was usually cocky but knew that tonight she was a big underdog. That still didn't deter Peggy though. Clad in her green one piece swimsuit, gold kneepads, elbow pads as well as her green/gold boots Peggy was ready for action.

As her music began to play Peggy strode down to the ring to her usual mixed reaction from the fans. Some liked her intensity, others disliked her attitude to try to win no matter what even if it meant skirting a few rules. She jumped up onto the apron in one leap, then the curvy lass jumped over the ropes with a second jump. She stood in the center of the ring, awaiting the arrival of Kei.

She was going to give the veteran her moneys worth tonight, of that Peggy was absolutely sure.

From the looks of things, Peggy appeared to be full of life and ready for this one. The opposite looked to be true when Kei made her entrance. While she usually the one who is all go, this time it looked like she was phoning it in, maybe even less. Her black attire and herself was clean and presentable, yet there was hardly any emotion as she headed towards the ring. Not quite zombie-like, she could hear and process what was around her, but for some reason she wasn't giving as big of a fuck about thing as she usually does. After her last match, her husband Wes showed concern that longer that one went on the less the woman that he knew and loved who gave her life and everything with it to the sport was losing it. He couldn't explain it, nor could those who he talked to about it.

Upon entering the ring she went to one of the corners and slouched. She remained as such until shortly after the bell sounded, which she then pulled herself from the corner and looked in Peggy's direction.

Peggy didn't know what was going on with this lady and honestly she didn't care. She was going to take the fight to Kei and try to get herself back on track. As the bell sounded Peggy saw how nonchalant Kei was approaching this match and took offense to that. Moving forward Peggy grappled with Kei, trying to maneuver herself to grab hold of Kei's arm and twist, delivering a quick arm drag to the older veteran!

Even though mentally she didn't appear to be there, the sense Kei developed from being in the ring for pretty much forever was still present. Good thing it was for it made it so that when she tied up with Peggy that she didn't go in limp and had some legit feeling behind it. Still, Peggy managed to take her down with the arm drag.

After landing she yawned, not really impressed with what was going on as she moved to stand back up. As it showed towards the end of her last match something wasn't right. With the timing of all of this Kei was actually fighting two battles, one with Peggy, and one with herself.

Peggy looked on in disbelief! "Don't ya fuckin' yawn at me ya old hag! I'll show ya how to behave in a ring properly!" Peggy cried out, takin offense to Kei's clear reaction to Peggys offense. Peggy moved in, swinging a hard punch to Kei's abdomen before bending over to scoop her up and slam her down as hard as she could!

Meanwhile backstage Alaina was hobbling about, her own night a mess after another loss. Her slide bugged her, but she was still showing the fire despite her setbacks. Kei? Not so much. As she hobbled about in her tiger stripe one piece swimsuit wrestling attire she bumped into Wes. She nodded politely and looked up at the TV. "She is still out of it isn't she?"

After she got back to a standing position and Peggy moved in, she was going give Peggy a shot, however she could process the thought into an action Peggy was able to act first and she was taken back down again this time with a bodyslam.

As things in the ring were happening, Wes was watching the in-ring action backstage. He looked concerned and didn’t notice Alaina approaching right away, but did turn towards her a second or two after she spoke. “Looks like it…oh hey Alaina.” Part of him wanted to ask how her match tonight went even though he did see part of it, but he didn’t bring it up just yet as something more concerning was going on at the moment.

Up Kei went, and of course down she went. Peggy hoped to have Kei stunned just enough to pile on a bit. The young woman looked down at Kei, standing in place as she jumped up into the air. Peggy extended her legs and looked to land them both across Kei's chest for a double leg drop. Anything Peggy could do to keep up her offense, and prevent Kei from gaining momentum, was key.

She managed to get enough sense to attempt to roll out of the way from the double leg drop, however she couldn’t avoid all of it and was stopped from getting away completely for the time being. Wes continued watching from where he was, not liking what he was seeing.

Peggy connected but it wasn't as solid a hit as she would have liked. She groaned as she got up to her feet, rubbing her backside. She moved in trying to grab onto Kei's arm and plant her feet, whipping the older woman towards the ropes!

There were some mixed signals going through hear head, as the competitive side of Kei was having difficulty staying silent while the rest of her was the opposite. After being sent towards the ropes she attempted to grab and hold on top them before bouncing off. She’d shake against them a couple of times or so before coming to a stop before gesturing towards Peggy to come get some.
