Maybe that's something that could be made ? A midcard belt for Tension.

I am not opposed to the idea, if tension is getting more traction and all I think it could be a pretty good idea IMO.

What about the 24/7 belt? I always considered that to be the midcard belt of Tension to be honest.

I don't think anyone (or at least not me) is saying that everyone should automatically get a chance to go after a belt as a newcomer. I'm just trying to highlight existing difficulties working within the system we have in place. It can be difficult to do as people suggest to build yourself up. These experiences may or may not be unique to my situation, but by putting them out there, perhaps we can work to better the whole?

I totally agree with what's been said, it's not logistically possible for everyone because it's a finite resource. If they changed hands every week and everyone got a chance, then the titles don't really have a point.

I definitely agree however with Acuya and Harrier that in general we should be encouraging people with titles to be somewhat more open to working with people outside their friends. That being said, so far the few title holders I've had the pleasure of interacting with have been great, so I can't complain on that particular front.

Well speaking personally my guy dave blakes run for a belt is the long term plan. Im lucky to have tai helping me out with that first step with Reira accepting the open challenge.

Well, the belt is akin to a third grade belt by WWE standards, you only needed it or the cruiserweight title to win the grand slam championship. Still I think that they are not very comparable unlike the original who was both 24/7 and hardcore all in once. The hardcore belt is bound to be held by a selected type of wrestler who are willing to use extreme violence, the 24/7 belt can be held by anyone, even a chickenshit heel.

I don´t write this to diss tension, I write this because i can remember when Tension had the largest of problems to fill the hentai division for a match for the belt, or the tag team belt who were lying dormant for months. The division looks indeed much better now, but wouldn´t it be sufficient to defend the 24/7 like a midcard belt then?

Yeah given the ratio of wrestlers in Tension Vs Friction. I don't think it even needs a midcard belt. plus this influx is this sudden surge of male characters. Tension gains momentum and loses it after a few months, we reach critical mass when we have too many males in the league.

Tension is working okay right now, but what people seem to not understand is Friction was working great for a long while before it got a midcard belt, and a softcore belt.

All in all, I think we just need to give things a bit of time. There are a lot of veterans on AFW who are more than willing to rp with newer guys and help them make story lines. There are a lot of people here who are willing to help build stuff and a lot of people who want to keep this place great and fun for a lot of people.

Sure it can take a lot of work, but if you are a good roleplayer, you have fun matches with people and help each other with stuff, things just go so much easier here, for everyone.
