Helvetica's Hotseat, Ep. 3- Gemma Faraday (for HighFly)

Trapped against the wall, there was nothing Gemma could do as her skull was bounced against the wall, repeatedly. Her eyes began to roll back in her head, as she grunted and groaned in pain. Between flashes of pain, Gemma couldn't help but flash back to her last encounter with Peggy- having started just like this. Gemma doubted this one would end as well, however.

Peggy threw Gemma down to the dirty backstage floor without difficulty, the punch-drunk Brit in no shape to resist her. "Augh!" Gemma cried out, her face bouncing off the concrete.

Helvetica, meanwhile, was eating this up with a spoon. Standing back, leaning on the zoom button with her good hand, she tried to catch every moment of Gemma's suffering. Looking up from disheveled bangs, Gemma tried to push Peggy away, with a weak effort, before Peggy got back to slamming her head off the mat. Gemma had no verbal retort to Peggy, only a loud sob, as her arms flailed about in a futile effort to resist the raging Irish woman's assault!

Peggy saw that Gemma was putting up next to no fight, and after a few more pounds she got off Gemma and stood over her. "Come on, is that it? Ya can't even offer a proper fight....." She said shaking her head. Peggy glared down at Gemma and kept up her look of contempt. "After I destroy ya in that cage, all this between us will be over, just like ya wish it was after ya got lucky in our last match. Ya damn well better actually fight inside that cage princess..."She said as she began to storm away.

Peggy saw Helvetica and shot her a look as she noticed the camera focused on her. "The hell are ya lookin' at?!" She said angrily, giving Helvetica a shove out of the way as she continued back down the hallway.

Gemma wiped a tear from her eye, hoping to God that Helvetica's camera wasn't catching it. She'd thrown down with Peggy before, and it burned the young Brit that this was how it was ending up, yet again. She was supposed to be over this, damn it? Why was she still getting her ass kicked?

"Ugh," Gemma sobbed, trying to push herself upright. The Brit only managed to get herself onto all fours, with her thick Irish opponent looming dominantly over her. It was an all too familiar feeling, and Gemma felt sick to her stomach to have to be experiencing it, yet again. Peggy's words came down on her hard, making her feel even worse. Head aching, eyes watering with pain and shame, Gemma fumbled her way to try and get out of Peggy's range. Gemma was able to get her head up eventually, but only just in time to watch Peggy walk away from her yet again, leaving the Brit looking devastated and weak.

"D-dammit," Gemma gasped, letting her face fall slowly to the floor. Despite all the promises she'd made, despite all of her big talk, here she was again. On the floor, hurting. Looking weak. Helvetica slowly crept around Gemma's body as she knelt there, arms wrapped over her head to hide her look of shame, bum straight in the air. The last image Gemma that fans would see of her before she met Peggy in the steel cage, leaving many wondering how she could possibly survive the encounter.
