Akiko's second elbow didn't surprise Hina, but that didn't mean she could avoid it. Hina released Akiko after the second elbow to her stomach and backed away from her.

Hina kept her hands up as she stood ready for Akiko to capitalize on this chance to control the match.

With Hina finally off of her, Akiko quickly moved to press her attack. She turn around and took a running start to hit her opponent with a lariat to knock her to the ground. She just needed to knock her opponent to the ground so she could get to work on her other plans to start giving Hina some real damage.

Hina stood her ground as Akiko turned around and came running toward her. Bringing her hands up, Hina absorbed some of Akiko's lariat before being knocked down to the mat.

Getting her bearings, Hina stayed on her back and kept her feet facing Akiko. From her position, Hina was still capable of defending herself.

Akiko's lariat had sent Hina to the ground, but she wasn't left completely defenseless. Akiko looked down at Hina, scowling at her current position. That was a common position in MMA... what's it call? I forget... She'd dealt with it a few times at her friend's dojo and it was annoying as hell to work around. Hina was clearly prepared for a ground assault, and unlike an official MMA fight the ref probably wasn't going to make Hina get back up after awhile. Fine, if she wants to fight that way, then... Akiko rose her fists and moved forward, hoping to get inside Hina's guard and stomp on her crotch area. This wasn't going to be turned into an MMA match, she'd force Hina realize this was a wrestling match with few rules.

Hina watched Akiko as she waited for the moment to get up or counter. By any means, Hina wasn't a MMA fighter and learned this technique on her own. Though her knowledge was expanded after studying more common fighting techniques after leaving her home.

Akiko seemed wary of her for a moment, but soon she prepared herself and closed the distance between them. Coming forward with a stomp, Hina would kick the mat and try to launch herself backwards to escape the incoming stomp. Hina was able to get her crotch out of the path of Akiko's stomp, but at the sacrifice of her right leg. Rolling on to her right side, Hina used her good leg and try to kick out one of Akiko's legs at the knee.

Akiko's stomp missed it's intended target, but she got a good hit in on Hina's leg, which would probably hinder her movement a little. She had to admit, she was impressed by her opponent's strategy as annoying as it was. She's a pretty smart fighter. Hina was proving to be a good opponent that was just as tactical as Akiko was. It was pretty exciting to find someone other than Claire that made her think this much ahead.

Akiko kept a close eye on Hina, stepping out of the range of her kick at Akiko's legs. She was down a leg, so Akiko would try to capitalize on that face and attack without mercy. She quickly moving in again, this time sending a low kick at Hina's face while she was down.

Missing with her kick, Hina had to get back on her own two feet for a proper offensive. Being on her side already, all she had to do was finish her roll.

Akiko didn't really give her the time to set up and was aiming to kick her in the face. She quickly used her arms to protect her face. The kick hit her forearm and Hina fought through the pain and tried to roll onto her knees and get into a neutral position to defend herself.

Again Akiko's strike missed it's mark. Hina was proving to be skilled at taking minimal damage. Still, she's sacrificing her limbs to protect her more vital areas. If Akiko could just wear down Hina's legs and arms she might have a chance at doing some real damage, or at least rending Hina's strikes useless.

Her opponent remained on her knees, still wanting to stay low. Okay, if that's what you want then... Akiko ran forward, getting momentum to slam her knee right into Hina's face. If she learned anything from Claire, it was not giving your opponent time to rest. She wouldn't show Hina an ounce of mercy until she was knocked out or surrendered.

Hina guarded herself from Akiko's strikes and she got a break when Akiko backed off. Looking up, Akiko was running toward her and Hina waited till the last second to spring up and fight back. From her knees, Hina shot up and tried to throw Akiko over her with a back body drop.

Akiko let out a gasp as she was tossed into the air. Hina had completely used Akiko's momentum against her. It was as Hina had a merely guided Akiko over her head like it was planned. pushing her out of the way. And it was going to be very painful."Grah!" She landed hard on her back, stunned with pain. It was a shame there was no audience, because they would had certainly been cheering for Hina after that display.
