Suzumi let out a cry as her arm continued to take a beating. It was clearly a target for Mikoto. Suzumi looked over at her with a glare. "Yeah..." Suzumi groaned as her arm felt like it was on fire. She felt like Mikoto was showing off, and Suzumi had to put a stop to that.

Suzumi knew Mikoto had her arm straight now so a kick wouldn't reach. Suzumi thought about going for the ropes but they were also too far away. Suzumi might not have been as fast as she used to be, but she was still flexible. She turned her torso and oriented herself to better alleviate the pressure in her arm, spinning to be able to at least bend her elbow again. If she could bend her elbow without anything snapping, she could move at Mikoto. In Suzumi's mind if she could move at Mikoto, she could try to ran her shoulder into Mikoto's chest to send her to the mat!

Winds Of Change - Page 3 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

What was once a friendly training bout had evolved into about as technical and finesse driven a match that was being put on for show that day, the bickering best friends seamlessly countering eachother's maneuvers like people who have trained together for years would normally do. It honestly wasn't Mikoto's intention to sound like she was gloating from her advantageous position...it just sort of came out. A memory of simpler times she hoped would snap her friend out of this bitterly driven mindset that was consuming her thoughts. The hateful glare in Suzu's eyes dashing Miko's hopes of that happening.

The priestess once again found herself walking right along with Suzu as she demonstrated a level of maneuverability Miko was absolutely unfamiliar with. The Tsunami's rehabilitation training from her injured leg was on full display as the priestess was struggling to keep up with her mentor's precision steps. Before she could further twist Suzu's arm after her mentor straightened it out, Miko was abruptly dragged into a wicked shoulder check to her chest that leveled her back first down to the canvas.

"Hugh!!" Mikoto groaned from being knocked off her feet by what felt like a linebacker's shoulder charge. The momentum bounced herself off the canvas and up to a seated position with one hand massaging the back of her head, which had regrettably taken some of the impact from her crashing fall.

Suzumi finally had an opening and wanted to press her momentary advantage! If she could steal the momentum that would be a big deal... a big deal with her as the beneficiary. She jumped up looking to land a good leg drop on Mikoto, wrapping her legs around Minot's head and neck as soon as it landed to try to strangle the fight out of her! "I'm not washed up.... I can make it in Friction and be what I was in Wrestle Angels!"

Suzumi wasn't really talking to Mikoto or anyone else at that point. Right now despite all her talk, she had to prove things to herself. She was insecure, having only mixed success in the ring in Friction. Failure was new to her. Sure, Chris Morgan is one of the best but the old Suzumi would never have been defeated as quickly as she was. In Suzumi's mind, her poor performance had turned her best friend into a doubter. She never thought of how she herself came across. She wasn't aware of the bitter, spitefulness. She wasn't aware of how her actions had an impact on anyone else.

All she knew was that she HAD to be able to work her way back to being as good as she was.

Winds Of Change - Page 3 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

Fuzzy vision aside from having the back of her noggin hit the canvas, Miko could still make out the distorted image of Suzu leaping above her before the underside of her thigh would come crashing down atop her face. Her limbs jerked up before settling back down at her side, leaving Miko stunned enough for a seamless transition into Suzu's clamping head scissors. The wrenching squeeze of her friends powerful thighs against her cheeks was already having her resort to her hands prying at Suzu's legs and the bicycling of her legs against the canvas.

Her friend's sudden confession came through muddled and nearly incomprehensible, but from as intensely as Suzu was yelling down at her, Miko was still able to make out the overall meaning. And how much pain Suzu was bringing into this match. The dreaded realization over her own diminished capabilities in the ring, the nagging fear of her limited shelf life as a competitor...Suzu was allowing it all to fester in her mind and encase her in a bubble of paranoia. Miko wanted to speak up and say something, but her capacity for speaking rationally was stunted greatly by the sweaty leg muscles bearing down on her skull.

"Nnngh..." Miko groaned in between her heated panting. Her movements would eventually die down in an effort to conserve her energy, struggling in the maneuver not amounting to much outside of wearing her down even further.

Suzumi felt Mikoto slowly wearing down. "Come on Mikoto!" Suzumi shouted as she kept hold of Mikoto. Suzumi sat up, hammering a fist down on her friends abdomen a couple times to soften her up. This hold could hurt but wasn't much for submissions per se. Suzumi let go and got up to her feet, pulling Mikoto up with her.

Suzumi grunted as she scooped Mikoto up and slammed her back down to the mat as hard as she could, letting out a shout of effort as she went about slamming her friend. Suzumi knew the value of momentum. It could take victory straight from the jaws of defeat...... and vice versa! Suzumi felt now more than ever that she had to keep momentum when she had it. Her foes could steal matches from her more easily than they ever could before. That all ended today.

Winds Of Change - Page 3 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

Perhaps it was the jarring tackle and subsequent trauma to her head that had made her forgotten, but once Mikoto remembered that Suzu had applied the head scissors squarely in the middle of the ring, the priestess settled down considerably once the option for reaching the bottom ropes was out of the question. Her hands previously pawing at the toned thighs squeezing the life out of her would rush down to shield her abs from any more strikes, cringing with every fist that made it through.

Mikoto was beginning to become truly discouraged about her prospects now that she was thoroughly grounded with the Tsunami hammering away at her like this. Though whatever relief she from being released from the head scissors would be replaced with fleeting panic from being deftly hoisted off her feet and sent crashing back first to the canvas.

"Gah!!!" Bouncing to her side and initially massaging her lower back, Mikoto would continue her rolling motion until she found herself at least somewhat closer to the ropes. From there the priestess would attempt to bring herself up to her hands and knees and begin to humbly crawl away from her fiery friends constant assault. This was a more aggressive side to Suzu that Miko had ever seen, and being stranded in the middle of the ring was most definitely not where she needed to be if she was going to find a way overcome her.

Suzumi saw Mikoto begin to roll and crawl towards the ropes. "I thought you were tougher than that? No running..." Suzumi said as she moved behind Mikoto to grab her around the waist. "I know you can do better!" Suzumi shouted as she lift up, securing her grip around her friends tight waistline. All the stops were being pulled today, as Suzumi already began to plan ahead for what to do a few moves down the road.

Suzumi planted her feet and kept lifting back, looking to deliver a nasty German suplex to Mikoto! Tighten up, arch the back and secure a pinning position after the impact were also Suzumi's plans to see where Mikoto was at. Part of her hoped to secure a quick win just to show Mikoto and the others that she was still a force inside the ring. If this didn't pin Mikoto... which Suzumi hoped would happen but didn't necessarily plan on happening... she already knew what was next.

Winds Of Change - Page 3 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

The chastising commentary from her former mentor helped put in prospective just how far south the spar had gone for the priestess in such a short amount of time. From having dominant control over her opponent to being forced into retreat simply so she could regain some semblance of her equilibrium after being put through the wringer like that. Being berated for her performance weighed heavily on her shaken confidence in herself and in her abilities, mentally distracting her enough to not even notice Suzu's approach until the Tsunami arms were already constricting around her waist.

Shoving down on the grip and struggling for some manner of relief in the waistlock, Mikoto instantly recognized the setup after feeling the reaffirming squeeze and the tensing of Suzu's powerful frame against her back. Only at the last split second did Miko have the foresight to reach out for the ropes. Tragically feeling her index finger graze the top rope before she was sent sailing through the air, Miko caught a brief glimpse of an upside down wrestling ring before she was implanted on the back of her hand and neck with a deadening thud.

"Gah!!" With Suzu maintaining her muscled grip upon impact, Miko scrunched her face from the embarrassment of being hunched over in a squirming ball with her toned rear sticking out in the air and her entire weight bearing down on her shoulders. The bridging suplex was executed perfectly, but as absolutely rattled as Miko was, she still vaguely recognized a pin attempt when she felt one. The priestess groaning out heavily in exertion as she shot her legs forward and exhaustively slumped on her front side before her internal counting had reached three...and hopefully Suzu's as well.

Suzumi had gotten right to a two count in her mind when Mikoto had managed to free herself. She wasn't surprised. Suzumi groaned and smacked the mat in frustration as she saw that Mikoto was down. Suzumi moved over to Mikoto, making sure she stayed on her stomach. Suzumi quickly sat down on Minot's backside and leaned forward to lock her hands together underneath her friends chin!

Suzumi didn't say anything as she pulled back on the camel clutch as hard as she could! She wanted to get Mikoto in a bad spot as early as she could and so far she'd turned things around, accomplishing what she had set out to do from the start of the spar. Suzumi just shouted as she pulled back, exerting more and more pressure as the hold really set in!

Whatever fleeting relief Mikoto may have felt after rolling herself out of the suplex pin attempt was tragically short-lived once she felt the Tsunami seat herself on the priestess' rear and pin her back down to the canvas. The lack of time and breathing room Miko was being given to recoup was keeping her an unwilling recipient of the nigh constant assault of her supposed best friend, cringing her teeth as Suzu cupped her chin and reared back in the spine contorting submission with ruthless efficiency.

"RAAAAAAAHA!!!" Miko agonizingly screamed in perfect sync with Suzu's own deafening yell, rapidly tapping her right leg against the canvas as her spine was bent into an unsettling and unnatural position.  Desperately clawing at the fingers intertwined beneath her chin, Mikoto summoned the willpower to at least attempt to reason with Suzu, and get her to realize just what she was doing.

"S-Suzu...please...this isn't...you..."
