Karina Northman vs Cicilia De'Reignhardt, No Holds Barred: Over the Edge

Cicilia had been waiting for this day...

She had fought hard to get to this point, crushing many and taking a few losses herself but FINALLY it had happened... She had gotten a match with one of the few legends of this league. From her very start, the German Juggernaut had always wanted something like this, to finally be put in the ring with Cecilia or Karina, to have this chance to show them all just how strong she was now. Who would have thought a green, little boxer from 2 years ago would have been able to fight her way up through an ocean of women, finally grasping at the very top where the most respected and powerful fighters rest?

...Cicilia knew it... All it took was the proper motivation for her to gather her will and claw her way up. Now that she had this chance, she wasn't got to let it slip... This might very well be one of the toughest fights of her life but if and WHEN she won... She'd have something to slap across the face of her wretched older sister!

Oh, the idea of seeing her face when Cicilia stood among the best... Let her arrogance BURN!

Cicilia stepped out into the light as her theme played for them all, the harsh metal sound and hostile, vengeful lyrics arching out across the darkened stadium as the woman who sported them appeared before the audience:

Walking down to the ring, the German couldn't help but smile, a sharp edge at the corner of her lips... excitement for what this battle would mean. On the one hand... she was sticking it to her no-good idiot sister no matter what happened today because no matter if she was beaten or defeated Karina.... SHE STILL WON! She already would have surpassed any arrogant expectations that woman would have had of her, forcefully RIPPING her world wider and making her see just how good she really was! On the other hand... this was a kind of dream come-true... She was gonna fight one of the biggest women in Japan right here and now... SHE earned that privilege... and she as going to make every punch count!

Slipping into the ring, the Juggernaut quickly slipped off her jacket, tossing it outside, revealing her once-perfect and fair skin now covered in the gashes and scars of brutal violence, knife-gashes and slashes from creatures that only had the bodies of humans. Cuts across her face would now also be visible as the light now easily beat down upon it. Though mostly faded now, small white, jagged lines could be seen stricken across Cicilia's eyes and upper cheeks... the sign of someone having tried to dig their nails into them frantically.

"Alright... This is it..." Cicilia muttered, slamming her fist into her palm, eager and waiting. "Lets see if I'm strong enough... to beat Karina Northman."

Karina was uncertain how to feel about this. Normally she kept with fighting people she knew but this one was certainly something that amused her in a way. Her opponent was named almost exactly like her wife and she did hear about her rise of the ranks, she was a powerful girl but never really seen her fight first hand, she wanted to be surprised after all when it came to new opponents, not only to test her own endurance but also to see if her strength matched up with the rising stars of the federation. She was still excited for it, bringing her hand up to clench it into a tight fist and watch it twitch a few times. There was definitely a certain enjoyment, stepping out onto the stage once her opponent was ready in the ring!

Dressed in her standard attire, she would rub her shoulder as she stepped down the ramp, giving a simple nod at the crowd as she marched down towards the ring. She was never one to play with the crowd, rather focused on what her opponent looked like and if she was emitting a powerful aura or not. She rolled under the bottom ropes and pushed herself up onto her feet, rolling her shoulders and bounced on her feet for a brief moment while her eyes targeted the girl in front of her, snickering and placed a hand upon her hip once she stepped to the center of the ring, lips curling into a smirk. " A girl named Cicilia who looks like a younger version of me.. It's like I'm looking at a daughter. " She chuckled from her own words but would bring her hand forward, offering the girl a handshake.

It couldn't be understated how much Cicilia found herself comparing Karina to herself now that they were face-to-face... particularly in appearance! Long dark hair, a similar physique and dress-style, eyes so sharp they appeared as if they could cut glass with a glance... In fact, the only notable differences between them as far as general body-type was concerned was that Karina was notably taller by a good few inches and that their eye-colors differed slightly. Cicilia actually found herself in stunned silence, now that they had met in person, how much she and Elfrida resembled one another: Both legends in fighting, both resembling the De'Reignhardt line... One might've been able to mistake Karina for a blood relative if they didn't know any better!

...It was a nice fantasy to imagine what might've been if this woman replaced the cruel and sadistic Elfrida as her older sibling...

Cicilia's eyes widened a bit, her jaw dropping a bit more as Karina remarked how much Cicilia might resemble possible offspring, what with her name and appearance being what they are! Her cheeks flashed the tiniest shade of pink, those normally volcanic eyes cooling and softening as they broke contact with the more experienced wrestler. Cicilia rarely heard such... heart-warming words from anyone at all... Beit family or strangers. Sayumi was the first who dared to even try and touch her heart in this way... Karina being the second.

...Unexpected but certainly not unwelcome.

"I... uh... yeah." Cicilia muttered, finding herself at a loss for words... That wouldn't stop her from accepting Karina's handshake however, her lips curling up into a hopeful(?) smile as she took hold of her palm. Cicilia's heart raced, a hundred thoughts going through her head at once. Instinctively, suspicion flashed across her mind but that was quickly stomped out by an overwhelming surge of WONDER! Was it possible that she wasn't instantly hated or feared RIGHT away? Was it possible that Karina, who had every right to stand above her, was going to treat her as an equal...?

...It was a strange feeling... Respect for free. It felt... good...

"Its an honor to fight you, Karina." Cicilia stated, finally finding her voice. "I'll make sure you're not bored."

Karina normally considered many opponents she had not met before as simple enemies she would crush within her arms, specially those who valued their looks above the attributes needed to become a successful wrestler. While Cicilia definitely looked the part of her younger version of herself, she could tell that the girl trained hard, those abs were not for show and she could tell from just a quick glance that Cicilia was someone who wanted to come out on top no matter how much she had to dish out or take.

For those reasons, Karina extended her hand to show a starting type of respect for Cicilia, who still seemed a bit more on the timid side in terms of conversation. In truth, she cared very little about words, she wanted to see how well the girl could handle herself in the ring. " Heh, from the look of things you'll give me a run for my money. I'll spare you the whole forcing you to worship my abs and all that since it's out first fight.. But I will still come at you with everything you got, so I hope you are ready for that. " With that, she gently squeezed Cicilia's hand before she withdrew herself from the girl and to the nearest turnbuckle, turning her back towards it and would calmly wait until the match would start, though there was a hint of eagerness to get things going.

"Don't expect me to hold back either." Cicilia responded, carefully avoiding the whole bit about... ab...worship... "You're an icon of AFW, but I'm no joke. I hope you're ready for everything I got!"

The German's confidence continued to rise as she spoke to the champion, as she issued her challenge and stood up for herself... Before people she respected, the initial, defensive anger the boxer sported was next to non-existent, replaced with a sort of humility one would likely never see! He knew what kind of person Karina was... at least in the ring and she had broken her vicious, blistering character to have this exchange with her. So, Cicilia would have to do this same... to match her and keep... whatever relationship they might have OUT of the negative-zone.

After a quick and mutual hand-squeeze, Cicilia would return to her corner, standing just inside of it's bounds as she softly clenched and unclenched her fingers at her side... This was it. This had to be the battle that would determine her status here. While Cecilia no longer held a title... this was the girl that had tamed that beast.... This was the girl who had fought for, defeated and claimed the heart of one of the strongest women to ever wrestle. To be able to fight this woman was a privilege... to be able to match her was probably a miracle... But the German had to... In order to EARN the respect she'd been given... and to elevate herself to the status of LEGEND! She wanted to stand up there with Karina and Cecilia, to be one of the titans that towered above the rest...

...But not for purposes of personal vanity... No, her motives were darker... familial. She wanted to CRUSH someone's pride... To burn someone's arrogance to useless ash... She wanted to SHATTER any ideas that Cicilia was lesser than them, that she was less than SCUM to them! Karina.... this fight... This was the true beginning of her grinding reality into the face of her family... Everything before now lead up to THIS...

...And Cicilia was going to make it all worth it!

RIGHT out of the gate, Cicilia RUSHED down Karina, her body tucked in like that of a football player going in for a tackle, her shoulders tucked and head bowed inward, fists pulled up against her chest, ready to be thrown! The MOMENT Karina got within her range, Cicilia would lash out with a BLISTERING STRAIGHT right into the woman's jaw, a sudden punch that SPLIT the air around the German's knuckles, the boxer's eyes GLOWING with ferocious determination!

Whether or not her blow connected, Cicilia would reach out towards the larger woman, aiming to grab her by her shoulders and DRAG her in for a BRUTAL knee-strike to her stomach, the Juggernaut then following up with a quick, CUTTING uppercut to the underside of Karina's jaw!

Cicilia was quicker than usual... lighter... but still as destructive. Rage didn't bog her down or warp the world so that it bent to her sun-burning fury! She was focused, alert... ALIVE!

Karina lowered herself by a bit, her muscles tensed while eyes narrowed when the match was about to start. She hadn't really seen the girl fight just yet but considering her stance, she might just have to play a little more defensive than what she really wanted. She would exhale softly as the bell went off and Karina's focus was now fully on Cicilia, who came rushing straight towards her to close that distance and went for a risky target, which this early in the match would not do much good for Ciclia unless it hit.

And that it didn't, Karina managed to block the strike to her jaw with an open palm, though Cicilia was quick to keep going to grasped her by the shoulder to send a knee strike to Karina's bare, battle hardened abs, forcing some of the air to leave Karina's lungs and coughing a few times! She shifted a bit, trying to restore that air as that fist came up with a good arch to her jaw again, though Karina would be quick to shift her body to the side and let that fist miss by just a few inches! She would growl, deciding that she wanted to return the favor by grasping Cicilia by the shoulder and her arm, wanting to pull the girl close and bring her own knee towards Cicilia's abs a few times to force that air out of her!

Cicilia somewhat figured Karina wasn't going to let her get away with such a brazen attack so early in the match... but that didn't stop her defensive techniques from being any less disorienting! Cicilia's first attack was defended against with a solid block with her open palm, the German's fist DRILLING into it... only to have be stopped DEAD just INCHES from the woman's face! That alone was already impressive... Cicilia's raw power and dominating strength was enough to punch through most guard, let alone HANDS that tried to catch her punches but here was Karina... catching them as if they were nothing... Something to note for the future: She was stronger in real life than she appeared on T.V! Cicilia's second attack went through like gold, HAMMERING into Karina'a abs with enough force to do NOTICEABLE DAMAGE! The German smiled widely as she saw her opponent buckle the tiniest but, a loud gust of air escaping from her lips as she coughed and struggled with taking such a blow!

...Oh the pride that swelled with a sight such as this. There was no pleasure to be had in inflicting such pain in it of itself... but rather, the fact that she could! That simple blow did more than she expected to someone as tough and powerful as Karina, she who went toe-to-toe with Cecilia and matched her equally! Oh, how the German's confidence rose... her belief in the idea of winning! If she could keep this going... she might just be able to come up on top!

Confident, perhaps to the point of fault, the boxer aimed to keep her momentum going with an UPPERCUT to the woman's jaw, to keep her off-base and perhaps even stun her... but Karina wasn't so easily slowed. Cicilia should have KNOWN that Karina Northman was FAR tougher than anyone she had faced this far in her life... She should have and yet her ego was just so swollen from that first blow! Karina made her pay for that in kind, SLIPPING to the side just as the boxer's fist came up in it's deadly arch, the knuckles of which lightly brushing against Karina's cheek as she slipped out of the way! She would then grab Cicilia's over-extended arm and then the opposite shoulder, using it as holdings to DRAG the German in... for a few KNEE-strikes of her own!

"NNNNnngh.....gh..uh...." Cicilia groaned gutterally, a light spray of saliva escaping her lips, her sanguine eyes dulled with pain! Cicilia was stunned... the woman's knee was cutting through her iron abs like they were nothing... It... It was nothing like she'd ever felt before.... And it felt GREAT! FINALLY SOMEONE SHE COULD FIGHT HER WAY AT LAST! A REAL CHALLENGE!

A smile would slowly grow up along the boxer's lips out of her expression of pain, the Juggernaut suddenly throwing her head forward to SLAM into Karina's in a BRUTAL headbutt! If it connected, the German would bring up her arm, PUSHING the champion-fighter's hand OFF her shoulder before SHOOTING it out to grab the woman's throat! If she managed to get a hold of it, Cicilia would attempt to LIFT the larger woman off the ground... and chokeslam her HARD onto the boxer's knee in a CRUSHING chokeslam backbreaker!

The Juggernaut's iNSANE strength would work in OVERDRIVE to take out Karina Northman, to show the world she was WORTHY of her attention... That she was worthy to stand alongside her as a rival at LEAST!

Taking those harsh blows was always something Karina could muster, even though she had to avoid that last uppercut to prevent Cicilia from getting a solid lead, it was now time to take the fight to the girl and show her a thing or two. She held onto those shoulders and gripped them tight, narrowing her eyes before she began to send those knees in a vicious barrage to Cicilia's abs, trying to knock all the air out of her lungs while she considered a good finisher afterwards, perhaps a DDT or a power bomb would be enough to get a solid lead over Cicilia.

However, the girl did not behave like Karina wanted her too and answered with a headbutt, causing Karina to release those shoulders and flinch, wanting to take a few steps back to defend herself, though Cicilia's hand was just a bit faster to reach her throat, briefly preventing Karina from gaining any air before she was lifted straight off her feet and down hard upon Cicilia's knee for a vicious chokeslam, stunning Karina as she remained on that knee for a few seconds before she rolled off, coughing a few times as she remained on her back for a bit, that was definitely a heavy blow that did it's trick.

Cicilia's stubborn durability allowed her to plow through Karina's agonizing knee-strikes and keep up her momentum... though that didn't lessen any of the pain that seared within her ribs and stomach! Even as her skull SLAMMED into the champion-fighter's face, even as she took-hold of her throat in her trade-marked iron grip, Cicilia couldn't help but wince, her torso aching freshly even moments after Karina had introduced her knee to it! The Juggernaut wasn't so much physically invincible as she was stubborn, having enough padding to match her mental fortitude and allow her to plow through blows typically considered game-changing... ESPECIALLY at the start of fights! Karina's raw striking power was like only one other Cicilia had fought before... But even SHE wasn't strong enough to BREAK the German's momentum so fresh into the fight!

Cicilia would bring the larger woman DOWN across her knee in a spine-snapping backbreaker, Karina's body FOLDING across her knee with the sheer force of the chokeslam upon it! Rolling off her knee, Karina would fall back down to the floor, writhing and coughing, seemingly substantially weakened from the Juggernaut's attacks! Could it be that Cicilia had grown this strong already...? Could it be possible that the gap between herself and Karina was smaller than she had thought...? The German would rise to her full height, her sanguine eyes staring down at her incapacitated superior...

Pausing for but a moment, marveling at how quickly the tables had turned in her favor, Cicilia would cock back her leg... and SWING it hard into Karina's ribs, aiming to flip her on her back, a position far more vulnerable and susceptable to submissions! Should she manage to do so, Cicilia would quickly drop herself on top of Karina, sitting upon the center of her back, legs straddling either side. Her hands would come down, grasping hold under the woman's chin and TUGGING her head up in a POWERFUL camel clutch!

The slam was enough to stun Karina for a while, groaning as her body lightly arched from the canvas, her hands lightly gripping the canvas as she wanted to start rolling away from Cicilia to use the ropes to get back up. However, her opponent did not allow her to get anywhere thanks to the kick to her ribs, flinching as she was forced to roll onto her stomach, her breasts lightly flattening against the ground while Cicilia straddled her back, not allowing Karina to get anywhere. She hissed as the girl began to position her into a Camel Clutch, the long haired fighter squirmed a bit until Cicilia managed to grasp her by the chin.

This was bad for Karina, who closed one eye tightly while Cicilia began to work over her back, straining it while her body shifting from side to side, trying to find a way to either break free or endure it, though she refused to release any sounds of pain or discomfort to reward Cicilia for the early hold, her hands clenching into tight fists while her legs kicked and shifted along the mat.
