Sonic Boom vs Bangarang

Alaina gave Julia a hug and pulled her close. "You have bailed me out a whole lot before this Jules, you don't owe me anything." Alaina said as the two stood tall in the center of the ring. It was good for Sonic Boom to be back. Without Julia in AFW Alaina really felt like her career just wasn't as fun, as enjoyable or as fulfilling. Before long Alaina also made her way over to their opponents and offered hand shakes to both women.

"You two really have great team chemistry. It won't be long before you two are making a big mark in the tag division. You really had us on the ropes and not many teams have been able to say that." Alaina said kneeling and offering to help Lyla up if she needed it. "Lyla you pack one hell of a punch for a little lady grappler, you had me crashing hard to the canvas quite a bit! Lemme help you back to your feet."

"Beginner's luck. The two of you are practically in a different league." When offered, Ellie would take Alaina's hand as well, similarly clutching it tightly as she gave it several shakes. These women were stars of the brand, inspirational athletes she had to try her best to emulate. It warmed her heart to see them so openly generous with their kind words and so humble in victory. It painted a very good picture of what she hoped would come down the road even if the track was a bit bumpy.

Lyla was perfectly fine to stay on the mat, barely partaking in the merriment. When another hand was offered she took it weakly to give another set noodle of a shake. The sudden yank to her feet was a minor whiplash, her body still feeling like a bowl of jello. She wobbled, having to clasp a hand on Alaina's forearm for support at first as the dizziness subsided.

"Yeah well, I am used to being a big hit with the ladies." Undeterred by possible concussion she wiggled her eyebrows, looking between Alaina and Julia. From the corner of her eyes she could see Ellie giving her one of those tight lipped, narrowed eyes looks that said "don't embarrass us" in stoney silence but what was the alert that could happen? They would beat her up? Too late for that. The irish lass took back her hands, placing her palms against the small of her back as she arched it, giving a soft muted pop as her spine realigned. The girl let out a relieved sigh before her eyes fell back to Julia. "Don't think I forgot about "later". Holding you to that."

"Later?" Ellie squinted in slight confusion.

"Later." Lyla repeated without providing any context, just watching Julia expectantly.
