Sonic Boom vs Bangarang

Alaina gasped and rubbed the back of her head as she got up looking down at Lyla before pulling her up to her feet. "Come on, show me how tough you really are!" Alaina said as she held Lyla, hammering Lyla with a couple hard body punches before trying to snap her back with a snap suplex to send her to the mat quickly! Alaina wanted to go simple for now trying to work her way back into the fight after having been on the wrong end of Lylas surprise dominant run!

Lyla let out a soft groan as Alaina peeled herself off the squashed Irishwoman. Yeah... she had probably deserved it. Hopefully Ellie would get on her case too hard about it later if it proved to have been a real bad move in retrospect. When the amazon reached down to grab hold of her, the spry young rookie was more than happy to start to stand up as well, only to be hoisted upright with a surprising amount of strength which took her by surprise. Her eyes were already wide before the first fist slammed into her stomach, making her lurch forward with a gasping cough.

To the surprise of everyone watching, the slender girl didn't just crumple under the Amazon's might. The rowdy Irishwoman leaned forward, committing fully by throwing her own hard strike into Alaina's stomach. While not even half the other woman's strength, she was showing her own fortitude trying to trade punches. Each shot she took from the other woman threatened to buckle her body but she still managed to summon up enough strength to fire back with her own. By the time Alaina had finished though, she was left taking a few slopping hooks towards the woman's side, trying to get a lucky kidney shot to buy her breathing room. Unable to stop Alaina, she was forced forward in a bend, locked in beneath one arm without the power to slip free. Ripped up off the mat, Lyla was whipped through the air to slam down onto the canvas with the suplex, letting out a weak cry of pain.

Alaina really admired the pure grit of Lyla but as her opponent she was focused on smashing her way through it at the moment!

The suplex was successful and Alaina decided it was time to start to choke some of the fight out of Lyla. The amazon jumped up, extending her leg as she came crashing down on Lyla with a leg drop! Alaina was going to try to transition to a head scissor hold as that combo had proven over the years to be a favorite of the amazon.

A suplex alone likely wouldn't have been enough to keep Lyla down, but Alaina had made a good effort to absolutely knock the fight out of her with crippling blows to the stomach. Gritting her teeth, she writhed on the mat, arching her back to grip at her spine where the impact had been felt the hardest. It left her fully open for the 173lbs of woman that can crashing down on top of her neck and chest. She wheezed out a pained breath, lips flapping briefly with the harsh exhale. It made her easy pickings for being slipped into the Amazon's scissor hold as her hands came up weakly, grasping at the other woman's powerful thighs, trying to pry them apart.

"The ropes, get to the ropes!" Ellie slapped the top rope with the palms of her hands making then spring with each hard impact, crying to to Lyla across the way. The silver haired rookie dipped slightly, bringing a boot up onto the middle rope to push it down ever so slightly. She was ready to run in and intervene if Lyla couldn't manage to break free herself but preferred to give her partner a moment to try. She wasn't found of interference, even if it was common practice in these sorts of matches.

Alaina leaned in taking a moment to flex her arms as Lyla tried to pry away at her legs. The amazon balled up her fist and sent a couple hard shots to the abdomen of Lyla to further take the fight out of her. "Just tap, you aren't getting out of this one Lyla! Ya got grit and heart but this is something you won't escape from!" Alaina said as she sent a couple more shots to the head of her trapped opponent before flexing her arms and nodding to the crowd, showing off and firing up the audience as she blew a kiss to them right afterward.

Alaina was trying to rally everyone behind her again after the impressive run Lyla had. The opponents were quite a team and Alaina wasn't sure why the heck this team hadn't had more exposure as so far they were really taking the fight to Sonic Boom if you discount Julia's start and Alaina's current stretch of offense.

Lyla squinted her eyes, letting out choked gasps as she tried to catch any sort of breath. Being between this woman a thighs was like being pinned to a wall by a truck, it was unreal. She gave up on trying to pull them apart pretty fast. That was a dead end for sure. Instead, she had to get to the ropes like Ellie was telling her. Lyla kicked her legs, buckling her hips hard enough to flop the both of them a bit to the side, actually making some small measure of progress towards freedom.

When a clubbing strike hit her midsection she let out a wheeze, battered again and again as she was unable to defend herself. She twisted and writhed, blindly trying to bring her arms up to defend against the errand blows to her face and body. They had done well to stop her ability to crawl for the ropes, and locked in tight.

Ellie winced as her struggling partner continued to be hammered. Each meaty thwack of a fist striking her was hard to listen to, let alone watch. It was clear she needed to get involved otherwise her partner was done down. She ducked down between the ropes, putting her boots down into the ring. The rookie took off running, eyes flicking between the legal women in the ring and Julia standing by. Arms pumping, she took the distance in long leaping strides until she reached both women and there herself forward. She hit the mat each, gliding along the canvas to try and drill Alaina with a baseball slide right in her side.

Alaina was doing well but she was so caught up with Lyla that she didn't see Ellie coming until it was much too late! "UGGGHHHHH!" The amazon groaned as she let go, rolling over and holding her side as she winced in pain, slapping the mat as the baseball slide surprised her, doing quite a bit of damage to the big woman. Alaina knew she had to get up more quickly than Lyla otherwise she was in trouble. She also turned to see if Ellie was going to stay in the ring or if she was going to scamper right back out after breaking up the submission.

With her attention torn Alaina decided to focus on Lyla as this team didn't seem like they would really double team without a tag. Alaina readied herself and tried to hammer Lyla with a hard forearm to the chest once she was up and facing Alaina.

Lyla didn't see what happened but she sure washing wasn't about to stick around to piece it together. When Alanna's grip on her faulterred, she flopped and squirmed her way free, taking the chaos of her partner's interference as a means in which to escape not only the Amazon, but the ring itself. She rolled, tucking in her arms to hastily slip beauty the ropes and drop herself into the ringside area where she clasped on her hands and knees, taking a well needed moment to recuperate.

Ellie didn't linger long either, less out of panic for being caught though. She scooted on her backwards away from where she had landed her slide. She planted her hands and pushed up, finding her testing to rise back up and back away, making it very clear to not only the referee but to Sonic Boom that she wasn't going to press this advantage. It wasn't in her character to break the rules, just bend them in the usual ways that were expected in a tag match. Unless stopped she would retreat back to her corner onto the apron, leaving the Amazon in the ring alone with no one for her to grab hold of.

Alaina saw Lyla roll underneath the ropes and Ellie scamper away. She decided that Julia could keep an eye on Ellie, allowing the amazon to give chase to Lyla. Alaina made her way to the ropes and climbed through dropping to the ground below near Lyla. Alaina grabbed hold of Lyla and tried to lift her up. "Where did you think you were going?" Alaina said as she scooped Lyla up, attempting to slam her down, aiming her lower back right for the corner of the apron! Alaina didn't want to give up her momentum or the fact that the pendulum had swung back in favor of Sonic Boom.

While Ellie had opted to do the more honorable thing and get in and out after breaking up the ground and pound. Lyla's recovery had all but been riding on those precious few seconds that could have been earned it her partner wasn't just so nice and proper in the ring. As it stood, she could only watch wearily as the Amazon rolled out of the ring to stand before her. With a breathy chuckle, Lyla held up a hand open palm, a universal gesture to stop for just a moment as she worked air back into her bruised body.

"Oh… you know. Out for a stroll around the ring… heh. Nice of you to join m- oh hey wait! Kugh!" She hadn't been in a position to really resist as Alaina hoisted her up only to dump her back on the apron. The slightly cushioned sound of hard wood on her back cracking got a "Ooooooo!" from the spectators in the front row. The pink haired girl bouncing off the ringside was far less enthused as she flopped face first back onto the floor with a groan.
