Rosa 'Crusher' Crabrera vs. Blaze - Fired Up

The big, burly bruiser of a woman came forward with all the subtlety of a runaway freight train, slamming hard into Blaze and bringing her to the mat, which was the exact last place she wanted to be, and there weren't any immediate and obvious good ways to escape. She would have to do the best work with what she had on hand.

Looking to solve the problem with a half-measure, she attempted to reach up and snag Rosa’s head before she could pull up and start pummeling away. It wouldn’t get her off, no, but it would at least limit her options. For a little while. Hopefully.

Rosa's plan worked, at least initially! She did hammer Blaze and take her to the mat, however Rosa's head was wrapped up! "Let go you damned brat!" Rosa grumbled as she reached up to try to pry Blaze's grip from her head. Rosa was confident she could get out, however this took away a golden opportunity to smash Blaze's skull into the mat, a chance which Rosa may not so easily have in the future!

There was no way that Blaze was letting of this hold. Not without a plan, anyway, because if she did? Rosa would hammer her skull into a fine paste, only a second later, which was the sort of thing that would severely ruin what had been an otherwise decent day. But it was going to happen, there was no way around - Rosa was prying at her grip, forcing it off, and it was only a matter of times. Seconds, even.

She would have to let go, but that didn’t mean she had to let go on Rosa’s terms. Instead, she abruptly released the hold, gave her opponent every opportunity to pop free, but not without a quick parting gift - she brought her fists together and tried to drop them down hard on the top of Rosa’s head, hitting her with a hard axehandle. She wasn’t expecting it to win her the match, but if it only bought her five seconds, she would be satisfied.

Rosa felt like she was about to be free, her power winning the day! However, Blaze had other ideas as she let go quickly and as Rosa was getting up a double axe handle strike smashed her in the face. Rosa fell back to her hands and knees, shaking her head as she crawled about, trying to shake off the daze!

Blaze had been effective at hitting her just the right way at just the right time. Rosa was down and trying to stumble back up but it was clear that the hard head shot had done a number on the big woman, leaving her out of it crawling around the ring. Rosa was aware enough to be embarrassed to be laid out that easily, and aware enough to feel her anger boiling over even more than before.

Luck was still a lady that liked Blaze, it seemed. By all rights, this match should’ve been going a markedly different way by now, one that would resulted in her getting ragdolled from one end of the ring to the other. But she was still alive, she was still in this, and after rocking Rosa’s clock with her axe handle, she was even in a position of advantage. One she fully intended to take advantage of.

”Excuse me.” With Rosa trying to make her way back up, Blaze took a quick step back, then rushed in, closing the distance with a long stride. She brought her leg up high, nearly doing a full frontal split. Muscles tensed, tendons stretched, and the audience got a nice peek under her skirt, as she held her limber limb up to the sky…

...only to bring her heel crashing down on the back of Rosa’s head, attempting to nail her with a harsh axe kick.

Rosa was almost up when a hard force bashed the back of her skull, sending her limply to the mat with a weak, barely audible groan! She laid there without moving except for her fist clenching and smashing against the mat over and over as a sign of the dazed pain she was in coupled with her grown rage stemming from her debut going exactly the opposite way she planned!

Rosa was a beast, a destroyer of lesser women. She destroyed people in half the time this match had gone on. Instead Blaze was taking the fight to the much larger woman, and Rosa was rag dolled to the ground twice in a row as the crowd ate it up! Her vision was blurry, and she could barely move despite her humiliation building.

And down she went. Again.

Blaze was either lucky or just that damn good, and she was having a hard time telling which was which at the moment. She had wanted to do well in the AFW, but she didn't expect to be doing this well - holding her own against a woman who seemed like she had real skill, who looked like she’d been doing this for years.

All the skill and talent, and Blaze had laid her out. Speaking of which…

Blaze dropped to her knees and rolled Rosa over - no easy task, but she got the job done. The crowd cheered her on as she dropped down on her foe’s chest, grabbed the leg, and went for her second pinfall attempt. ”Comeoncomeon…”

The referee dropped to her knees and started up the count.

"1...!"

Rosa felt herself rolled over and the big woman flopped onto her back as Blaze tried to put her away!

"TWO!"

The count continued and Rosa let out a scream as she tried to thrust her shoulder off the mat and roll to her side to break up the pin as well as dislodge Blaze from her body. "Damn it... how the hell do you keep doing this?!" Rosa mumbled as she tried to rumble her way up to her feet, shaking her head to clear herself of the daze. Trying to zero in on Blaze, the big woman tried to swing her own leg up, spinning around as she tried to connect a roundhouse kick right into Blaze's jaw!

Rosa kicked out and kicked out like a damn mule, lifting with enough force to send Blaze rolling away, showing she still had plenty of life left. That wasn’t a problem, though, right? Blaze was still on the upswing had the moment firmly in her favor. Just had to keep moving.

Rosa’s question tickled her a bit, though. Couldn’t not respond to that. ”It’s easy, just got to stay lose, wiggle the joints a bit, and-”

It only took a second. That was all the time Rosa needed to spin around and change the entire dynamic of the match with a single kick, one that hammered Blaze in the side of her face and sent  her to the mat. She hit with a hard crash, flat on her chest, and she didn’t move much after that. Not unconscious. But stunned. Definitely stunned.

The connection, the sound of her foot hitting Blaze's skull and finally the sound of Blaze's limp body hitting the mat all rejuvenated Rosa. She was aching all over, had a giant headache and still had trouble focusing. However, right now Rosa could see Blaze laying there and it was time to take it to her while she was down!

Rosa bent down, grabbing Blaze by the hair and yanking her up to her feet before transitioning her hands to Blaze's throat! "None of your little bouncing around or running will save you now." Rosa growled as she lift Blaze off the ground still with both hands around her throat! After shaking her a bit and the referee coming over to yell at her Rosa would throw Blaze back to the mat as hard as she could!
