Pyrena Alexandria Nikos vs Isa Hjalmarsdottir - Greek vs Norse

Perhaps the old adage of “talk shit, get hit” was lost on the Icelandic Native.
Pyrena almost didn’t wish to do this, but as a warrior, for her pride, for her nation, for all Spartans, she must. Not as if she didn’t warn her, she has shown what she could do. And now this was amplified all the more, just in terms of destructive power. With each slam giving the Angel of Ice something to think about for that poor decision.

Not one. Not two. But three powerbombs. It was quite excessive but showing the wrath of the titan Atlas, letting the blonde’s cries of pain fill the octagon. One might think that that would be that. Just something simple, no need to do more. Yet however, this Viking was getting a special kind of treatment.
A Burning Hammer followed after, one of the more devastating slams there is and was way more than enough to put her lights out. There was nothing, no sound, no movement. Fitting for a warrior Viking. Pyrena moved on top of Isa, hooking a leg up just to start the pin.

“Don’t get up.” She whispered, which might seem like a threat but more so for Isa’s wellbeing. Lest she wants more of what she has gotten.

ONE!

Isa may not had given an impression of a mighty, powerful Viking in this match, but one thing was for sure. She had been battling bravely, fearlessly against the Greek Warrior, and not turned tail flying away from her amazon foe!

It was just too bad that the impression she was giving of Vikings to the AFW audience was not really a positive one... Well, maybe someone like Cecilia Northman could fix that some day.

Nothing was saving the blonde Viking from utter defeat this time though. After Pyrena's devastating, more than decisive finisher the Angel of Ice was practically out cold.

Which was probably her blessing.

"TWO!"

Isa was just breathing heavily, her opponent's words basically just lost on her. It didn't matter though, as it was all-too-obvious for everyone that the Viking was not getting up after those slams...

"THREE!"

Even the official was fully aware of the blonde's dire situation, and her count was performed unusually fast, sealing the young Viking's defeat!

She wasn’t sure if her words would reach her, if she indeed was out of it then it certainly wouldn’t. But if she did then it was for her own good, that much Pyrena told herself. To put her in so much more pain that it wouldn’t have been funny if she did continue, Isa doing her best to represent the Scandinavian warriors of old.

Only that she wasn’t the best to represent such an honour as this.

For Pyrena, she was upholding the honour of her Spartan brethren back at home, all with the hopes of making fellow Greek’s proud and happy, having shown the might of a Spartan. The Red Amazon knew that it was inevitable as the count went on, after all of this, she hardly expected the Angel of Ice to do a surprising kick out. That was highly unlikely, considering what she went through. Unless if she really was so strong that she would try to rally herself into-

“THREE!”

Yeah, no. Not going to happen.

Pyrena didn’t mind the faster count than usual, only that she didn’t want to be sadistic and prolong the suffering of Isa. She had won. And that is all that mattered. The Red Amazon probably had gone too far with it but Isa was thoroughly defeated. After having her hand raised, Pyrena would vault over the octagon cage before landing onto it, picking up her props before heading back to backstage. She didn’t really want to be there or linger any more. Didn’t really want to celebrate as much. Would rather get to the locker room and just forget about it.

Who knew that such a victory can be bittersweet?

The total destruction that Pyrena had put Isa's body through in the last few moments might had appeared brutal and hopeless, but for the Icelandic blonde there was still one silver lining in this situation.

Namely, that the only thing she could focus on right now was the immense pain and total annihilation of her body. There was absolutely no room left in her comprehension for the damage done to the image and honor of what she was representing, the Vikings, Norse people and all that. For Isa, that damage would have probably felt even worse than the damage her body had been taking, had she been capable of feeling it.

Frankly, she didn't even have the capability to stand up.

Luckily, she didn't even need to. Almost before Pyrena had made her way out of the octagon, four Viking-clad assistants stormed into the cage, lifted the blonde's body up, and carried her out of the hell she had been in. But even if the crowds had shown immense impression over Pyrena's formidable victory, they still showed Isa too their appreciation over her part in the show they had just been presented.

It was just too bad for Isa that recovering from this show, both physically and mentally, was going to require a hell of a lot of work to do.
