"Yeah, bitch! You better run!" James said, totally misunderstanding the situation. The kick he had gotten off had worked, all but miraculously, and James was just high on life right now. He felt he was doing far better than his sister had done, which was not really based on reality. One blow, and the blonde girl was out. That was all he cared about. Not the fact that she could run to the corner scott free, not the fact that he was flat footed right now.

And boy, did he pay for it. Ralph came flying in and hammered him straight in the chest. Immediately, the purple haired man went flying back. He skidded to a halt, and jumped back up as quickly as he possibly could. "Jesus, I had just forgotten about you. It was so nice." He crouched into a wrestling stance, very similar to Jessica's. He was going to be more ready next time. He had to be.

While Ralph didn't appreciate the insults toward his cousin, he couldn't help but smile to his cockyness. It was his time to shine now and James made things really easy for him. Having no opposition at all, Ralph could freely run around the ring and end up drop kicking his opponent. German was quite happy to see that drop kick was strong enough to knock down James, but unfortunatelly it was still to weak to keep him down. He'll have to work harder to achieve that and he just got an idea about what he can do.

He just need to keep the pace of what he was doing until now. Keep on hitting him, slowly wearing him down and at the end let Juni in to finish the job. Most important thing was to prevent him to tag in his sister.

Since there was quite a distance between two wrestlers, Ralph lunged toward his opponent. Banking on thing, that James won't be able to fully prepare himself in time, Ralph tried to use spear in order to knock him back on the canvas.

The Wrights vs. the Ackers - Page 3 Empty Re: The Wrights vs. the Ackers

James was practically born in the ring. He lacked the natural strength of many others in his family, but they all had instincts. Ralph was a flying sort, and was going to be coming at him at a hundred miles per hour. His nostrils flared. The aerial ace knew that he was going to have to catch a bullet, the only question was where that bullet was going to come.

There it was. The lunge. Wherever the blow was coming, Ralph was going to be out of position. James acted quickly, instinctually, and took a step forward. To many, it seemed coutnerintuitive, but Jessica, in her corner, smiled a bit. The purple-haired boy was learning. The spear would not come as hard, as the step forward cut off most of the momentum.

Still, James had to take it. He felt his chest nearly cave in, but his eyes never wavered from his task. He had extended his arms out right before impact, and was now cinching it around Ralph's neck in a choke hold. It was his time to prove how merciless he could be.

The Wrights vs. the Ackers - Page 3 Empty Re: The Wrights vs. the Ackers

Ralph didn't really pay too much attention on James' movements, since he was focused on landing that spear. Well he did manage to hit opponents gut, but he knew something wasn't right. The collision shouldn't have happened so earlier... there should be another second or two before his shoulder would ram into his stomach.

German boy totaly expected to land down on the canvas after the action, but this wasn't the case. He knew that James is fast and he just prooved that. Managing to catch Ralph's neck in mid air is quite the accomplishment. And so it happened - instead of landing on the canvas he ended up standing down, with head between opponent's arm.

Trying to find way out of this situation, Ralph placed his hands on James' hips. He began pushing him backward as well pulling his head out of headlock. "Come on Ralph, you can do it!" Juni began encouraging her cousin when observing his struggles to escape.

James wanted to put all of his focus on just breathing, but that luxury was not afforded to him. Even if he had cut the spear off a little bit, he had gotten rocked by it. The visions of raucous nights of parties and empty beer bottles faded from his sight, just as James was trying to put the pain in his chest aside. He had to hold on to this. It had been hard won, earned in pain, and was going to slow this kid down considerably.

He just had to hold on. With every passing second, that prospect got more and more difficult. Ralph was pushing against him now, and the German guy had more strength to him than originally met the eye. James struggled mightily, a task made all the more difficult due to the fact that his chest was thumping with pain.

But he did not let go. James tried to adjust his hips, so that he had better leverage, and that maybe Ralph would stop going for them. Whatever the case may have been, the aerial ace felt the pressure to try something.

Ralph tried to brute forced his way to freedom, but it didn't work out as he wanted. For the moment he could feel that he was almost out, but it still wasn't enough. But although James held his head, Ralph felt that he has good opporunity to escape.

Blue haired boy clenched his fists and start sending punches to the side of James' body. Ralph wanted to soften up his opponent for a little bit so he would have bit easier job in next move. He tried to push him backward closer toward the ropes. He was leaning forward and pushing as hard as he can with his legs. With one arm extended, he tried to touch the rope for a rope break.

James thought that he had it. After all, despite all of Ralph's pushing and maneuvering, James was still holding on. He dared to make the hold a little bit tighter, using more of his strength to try and keep his opponent hemmed it. The aerial ace's considerable mental burden now lifted. This was going to be easier than he thought.

"Fuck." That was the sound that James made when the first blow hit his side. The acute noise of flesh on flesh reverberated across the stadium for the first time, and the purple haired man winced.

"Don't you fuck this up," Jessica called out from the sideline, very unhelpfully. But there was very little unfucking this up to be done, unfortunately. The German man was on the move, and James was not in a very good position to do anything about it.

The guy was getting far with the pushing towards the ropes thing. James had to credit him for that. He tried to hold on a little bit tighter now, but it was so difficult with all the pain he felt.

Ralph's head was still trapped between James's body and his arm, but he could feel it not being as strong as it was at the beginning. He's been making nice progress forward and was few inches away from grabbing the rope. Just one more step and he'll be free.

"Your bro is to weak to hold him back, bitch." Juni screamed over the ring toward Jessica. And just when she finished talking, Ralph managed to make final step and grab the rope. It was hard and exhausting, but he managed to gain the freedom. Referee quickly joined them and began counting for James to let go his up opponent.

Jessica quietly seethed. She had the distinct feeling that if she were in this, she would be doing a lot better, despite the fact that she had clear and obvious proof that the exact opposite had happened. Jessica gripped the top rope, and violently shook it back and forth, pretending it was James' neck.

But it wasn't the aerial ace's neck, and he had his own problems to deal with. Ralph had gotten all the way to the ropes, which meant that he had to break. James released the hold as soon as he heard the ref's words, and rolled away.

He popped up. For a second, he turned back to the corner. No, he wasn't going to do that. Jessica had a lot to prove, but he needed to prove things as well. James hunkered down into his wrestling stance, and got ready for the next spate of fighting.
