Suzumi kept the hold locked in and it took her a second to realize that Mikoto was speaking to her. "Like of course this is me! I can prove that I am not some floozy pushover! I'm not some washed up no-talent bitch who has fans because she shakes her ass, I can actually compete like I used to!" Suzumi shouted as she continued wrenching down.

She was so lost in the spar that it may as well have been an offical match. She didn't understand Mikoto's plea at all. "Are you just going easy on me to help me look good? I need to see you at your best!" Suzumi shouted as she continued to apply the hold!

Mikoto shut her eyes to the beaming ceiling lights above throughout the back bending submission, enduring the excruciating pain in her spine while her friend professed to her just how insecure she was about her own potentially hindered abilities due to her injuries. The priestess scrunching her face as Suzu was obviously taking out all her anguished frustrations on perhaps the one person who was perpetually in her corner throughout her entire re-acclimation into the business.

The lack of sympathy towards her heartfelt pleas and the stark shift in tone in Suzu's paranoid rambling finally clued Miko into an unsettling truth...that no amount of words could reach Suzu at this point. She wasn't facing off with her best friend anymore...

"M-maybe...maybe I am...g-going easy..."
Mikoto sputtered in between pained gasps for air, shifting her hips until her knees were bent and she was seated on her ankles. All in an attempt to dislodge Suzu's secured positioning and give her more leverage to hopefully buck Suzu off of her eventually. In Suzu's blinding aggression towards Miko, she had made a key mistake and neglected to secure her arms in the camel clutch, leading to fervent pulling and scratching at the intertwined fingers cupping her chin. "Why...why should I show you my best...*nngh*...when you're only sh-showing me...your worst?"

Suzumi's fingers were prayed loose by Mikoto, and Suzumi released Mikoto from the hold, standing up to her feet. She glared at Mikoto as she pulled her up by the hair. "Why don't you go to stand in the corner little girl?" Suzumi barked as she changed her hold from Mikoto's gorgeous hair to her arm. "So.. I am not good enough for your best huh? You are just like Chris Morgan." Suzumi's words weren't anger, as her voice shook a bit. It hurt her to think that Mikoto shared the sentiment Chris Morgan had towards Suzumi coming back, trying to wrestle after that quadriceps tear that forced her to retire for over two years.

Suzumi planeted her feet and whipped Mikoto to the corner as hard as she could! Suzumi wanted to watch the impact before following up, looking to crash chest-first straight into Mikoto as she slumped in the corner!

Winds Of Change - Page 4 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

For all of her uncharacteristic supposed braggadocio, the disheartening truth of the matter was that Mikoto was absolutely being run ragged by her former mentor. Suzumi was clearly at the pinnacle of her game as evidenced by maintaining her outright dominant control of the match. The seamless transitions between her maneuvers was preventing Miko from regaining any headway whatsoever. Miko's gasping words were clearly not meant to emphasize Suzu's lack of skill, but her increasingly disturbing and paranoid attitude...

"...nngh." Cringing from the harsh tugging of her flowing black mane to bring her back to her feet, Miko offered scant resistance to being sent barreling across the ring with enough velocity to have her legs kick out as she careened back first into the padded corner.

Suzu's demoralizing words compounded with her own shameful display withered away at her wavering confidence, being manhandled like a rookie with a performance that was comparable. Slumping down with her groaning face hidden and arms draped over the top ropes, Miko was reminded of her own rookie days in W.A. And how it was Suzu who came to her aid against the brutes who effortlessly abused and made an example of her...

...A swelling rage was suddenly bubbling in her chest, the priestess clenching the top ropes tightly. Sensing Suzumi was fastly approaching from the stomping foot steps against the canvas, Miko would spring to life and extend both of her legs outward with every intention of striking Suzu square in the face!!

Suzumi ran forward and was caught totally by surprise by the swift and devastating kick of Mikoto! Her legs raised up and sprang right into Suzumi's face, sending the tsunami flying back onto her back and howling out in agony! Suzumi was in a daze, covering her nose with her hands as she felt a warm, wet trickle begin to seep from her nose! Suzumi let out a loud groan as she rolled over on to her side. All her momentum, all her offense that couldn't put Mikoto away seemed like a distant memory. Right now, with one simple, hard counter Mikoto had managed to put herself back in the drivers seat.

She would have cursed and gotten back up to her feet had she not been so totally shell shocked by the sudden, nasty impact! For sure, Suzumi was down and hurting. She couldn't think straight and was trying to collect her thoughts as she slowly began to recall that she was in a very intense spar! However, all the time it took surely left her open to counter attacks by her friend the priestess.

By fully extending her legs at the absolute height of Suzu's jump, the impact of Miko's kick would have felt no differently than if Suzumi had catapulted straight into a concrete wall. The jarring collision was made even more devastating by Miko's intentional placement of it, aiming it specifically for the center of Suzu's face to leave her as rattled as humanly possible.

Exhaustively slumping back down in her corner, the priestess took the time to peer up through her half-lidded eyes to examine the situation and her opponent writhing on the mat. Suzumi's sympathetic state would have normally had Miko concernedly tending to her friends well being, but Suzu's actions and declarations had finally bore their way into Miko's psyche. Now she only saw an opportunity put away just another opponent, nothing else.

Willing herself out of the corner and fighting through the lingering aches from the last few miserable minutes, Miko approached Suzu and kicked her over so she was laying on her stomach and bide her time for the Tsunami to raise herself upward to her hands and knees. Miko would then step over Suzu and entrap her neck and arm in between her legs, twisting to her side as she fell back down to the canvas. Once on her back, Miko would grab the ensnared arm and viciously twist it while also constricting the flow of air to Suzu's head from in between her leggy vice. The pair was dead center in the middle of the ring, and Mikoto was wrenching on the same arm she was working previously. The priestess gritting her teeth in the triangular armlock, her best attempt to end this madness right here and now.

Winds Of Change - Page 4 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

Suzumi's little stay in la-la land ended abruptly as Mikoto applied her submission without any resistance from Suzumi! Suzumi let out a shrill cry that was cut off as the hold was locked in! Suzumi wanted to say something but right now that was proving to be difficult! As the pain and choking sensations hit Suzumi knew she was in trouble. She pried fruitlessly with her one free hand to get Mikoto's legs away from her to no avail.

In desperation, Suzumi tried to reach her leg out towards the rope. She wasn't quite there but she began to furiously wriggle about in an effort to reach it. If that failed she would try to roll them over and get to the ropes that way although that wasn't going to be easy by any means! Suzumi felt anger, disappointment, and fear beginning to set in. Her confidence was taking a giant hit as she went from in control to being on the verge of a loss within a minutes time. Stubborn pride abandoned her as bitter despair took its place.

Suzumi tried to choke out a few words, but only pathetic gasps and grunts escaped her mouth. Mikoto surely was sitting there, smiling and taking this all in. She must have wanted Suzumi to call it quits as soon as she saw her at the gym. The "for your own good" argument was getting old. How was it for Suzumi's own good to walk away from the one thing she really loved doing, and the only thing she thought she was good at?

Winds Of Change - Page 4 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

After enduring such an exhausting stretch of abuse by her former mentor, Mikoto's prospects of earning another opening like this were decidedly not in her favor. And considering how drastically different the shift in tone had become since the spar had began, the priestess was now as unrelenting as Suzu had pushed her to become. Her choking techniques and proficiency at it's application having already earned her a win in the league. And this particular submission targeted Suzu's tormented arm and also her windpipe...only cold efficiency going through her mind at the moment.

Suzu's frantic struggles were, in essence, exactly what Miko was hoping to illicit form her ensnared opponent. Wasted energy and movements serving only to tire them out quicker in the armlock. Miko's lean legs rigidly tightened up around Suzu's neck in response to the Tsunami's fervent resistance, angling and twisting her waist in the opposite direction to prevent Suzu from rolling them anywhere near the ropes. Divorcing herself from emotions was not an issue until she peered down to witness Suzu's bloodied face and chortled gasps for air...the heartbreaking sight making her heart leaden her chest, as if it was weighing her down from within...

Clenching her teeth and gulping down the lump in her throat, Miko rolled them both onto their front to spare herself the grief of witnessing just what she was doing to her prideful best friend. With Suzu's face pressed against the canvas, the absence of the beaming fluorescent lights from the ceiling and the discombobulation of where she was in the ring would make it nigh impossible for her to determine where the ropes now were.

Suzumi's struggles became more frantic as she dug her fingers into Mikoto's lean thighs. She was gasping and really struggling to catch her breath as her vision faded and her grasping hands soon went limp. Her flailing legs also stopped dead, another sure sign that Mikoto had indeed taken tis spar by force, winning decisively by virtue of a masterful submission hold. Normally Suzumi would have been proud to see Mikoto be that focused in the ring. Funny how things change when you are the one stuck in the hold...

Suzumi was down and out to be sure, passed out from the chokehold. In a way it was good since she wouldn't have to swallow her pride and feel the humiliation right away.

Winds Of Change - Page 4 Empty Re: Winds Of Change

Gritting her teeth from the pinching fingers digging into her thighs, Mikoto remained steadfast in her newfound resolution to win this spar through virtually any means necessary. Not for the sake of herself, but to finally allow Suzu to see just what she was capable of when she removed her niceties and approached a match with every intention of achieving victory. Even as Suzu was gradually being lulled into a blissful state of unconsciousness, Miko maintained the steady pressure of her toned legs squeezing down on Suzu's reddened cheeks. The waning movements and lack of resistance only compelled her onward until her former mentor was finally rendered completely lifeless.

Uncoiling her legs after rolling over once more to a seated position, Miko immediately set herself to the task of reviving Suzumi. She hastily crawled to Suzu's side, made sure she was flat on her back and elevated both her legs to expedite the blood flow to the brain. Her concern for her friend's current well being easily trumped whatever pain she was or animosity she may have bared. Instead her mind was racing for alternatives to wake her back up having not brought any smelling salts.

"Come on, Suzu...you're gonna be alright..." Mikoto stated with growing concern, her friend's bloodied face wracking her with immense guilt after gradually coming down from the adrenaline high.
