Moment's Respite (For HighFly)

"Later tonight..?," asks Blaise. "Is it past midnight already?" He went from his match directly to the hospital for evaluation and overnight monitoring, after all. He has no reason to expect to be held past morning. And though he's confident no lasting damage has been done, and that he'll be discharged without complication, he's not about to argue with the notion of a bikini-clad Suzumi fussing over him. Even if they get zero work done because of it.

"Don't bother with the hat. It'll just end up in the floor," says Blaise with a sagely nod. "Otherwise, yes to all of that."

And about that time, the door opens and a legitimate nurse enters the room, clipboard in hand, only to pause at the compromising sight of patient-with-visitor-atop-him. She blinks behind a pair of slanty spectacles. "Um. Excuse me. It's getting late..."

Suzumi let out a scream as the nurse came in and she literally jumped off the bed and landed on the ground! "Ooomph! Argh, hey.... uh sorry about that." She said as she got up to her feet, brushing herself off.

"I should wait outside babe, and once you are cleared I will take you home." Suzumi said to Blaise with a smile and wink, blowing her handsome man a kiss before leaving the room allowing the nurse to get to work.

Blaise is left lying in the bed like a deer in headlights, staring wide-eyed at the nurse. And before either of them can say anything more, Suzumi has excused herself right out the door.

The nurse stands in awkward silence with her patient, exchanging stares.

"She... she knows you're here overnight... right?," asks the timid female.

"I... think? Maybe? I'unno," sighs a vexed Blaise.

"I'll make sure she knows when I'm finished in here."

After a period of time, the nurse slips out of the door to look for Suzumi and ultimately deliver the information.
