Rolling Dice

"Yes, I'll study quite hard, but I don't think you're a very difficult test." Emily almost regretted the words as she said them. She knew they weren't true. She was letting her mouth get ahead of her.

But she had never been in a situation like this before. Her whole body quivered and her heart hammered against her chest. She had only been in one fight before in her life, and she had lost it badly. But she was a junior in high school then, and she was all grown up now. Surely Tatyina could help her learn to beat some stupid redneck.

"Now get out, or I'll skip the police and throw you out myself."

"Tch. So confident." Bonnie muttered. She wasn't very technical at all. But she was no rookie. "But yeah... Study hard."

The Twins didn't get what they wanted. Got something else but maybe it would fit this little puzzle as well. They could see this girl's body shaking as well, maybe she wasn't as confident as she seemed. Or was just eager for them to leave before she snapped.

Bonnie and Clyde headed Emily's warning, though they were not really intimidated. "See ya 'round then." Bonnie said, turning around and heading out the door. Clyde gave a half-hearted wave to the two of them, looking to Tatyina with a troubled expression. She was real nice to them. He turned and followed his sister out of the apartment. Heading back to Bonnie and Duffy's place.

"That went well." Clyde commented.

"You mean Terrible. I feel down right terrible. I feel..." She sighed. Deciding she would not tell Mercy about this. She had to let it go and move on.
