Damn right she was.

As for the competitive/predetermined "debate"....You should be willing to do both. I like predetermined, but I'd be willing to do competitive if need be.

I mean, if your completely unwilling to do one, then why should anybody be willing to do the other?

Exactly, always talk it out with your RP partner first, that way you can put in your own idea's into a match etc, your both ok with, whether its a title or just a match itself.

ummm, well as far as I go I am more than open to do predetermined matches if thats what my rp partner wants to do, I tend to be more of a go with the flow type rper who just likes to see how a match plays out and then go with whoever the winner looks to be. I think if both players trust each other then a competitive match can be a ton of fun, but to avoid issues I am all for predetermined ones, its pretty much what I do near the end of matches anyway, pming the other player and talking about how the end should go.

Harrier makes fair comments regarding people possibly not liking predetermined matches and like I said earlier, before making this thread I listed that a possible stopping point of this idea being that some people might not like playing predetermined matches at all, creating a barrier for them competing in title matches. I was actually expecting a lot more people to voice up that they did not want to play in predetermined matches, its been a pleasant surprise that that has not been the case

The suggestion of using a coin flip at a set point during the match is ok, however it takes two members in tune with each other to play a match and then have a coin flip force them in a direction that perhaps their match had not been going towards and still make the match look good. In addition, coin flip decision does not promote *as much* harmony between players as just deciding the match at the beginning and building the match together from then on. I might have been willing to allow the occasional few title matches being decided with a coin flip, but if someone who was only willing to decide matches in this fashion won a belt, then all title defenses with that member would have to be done with a coin flip decision half way through the match there after. That's something that would be preferable to avoid

I do not want to bully you (Harrier) or anyone else in your position into changing your opinion about predetermined matches. But I hope you can understand that this suggestion will promote togetherness in AFW, as well as help improve the fun and quality of title matches in average. Hopefully prevent several other members opting out of title matches and prevent their value being misinterpretation... And if some time in the future your tastes change and you feel more interested in playing predetermined matches, great.

I would also like to note I would like to see the top ten remain in some fashion, perhaps as a list comprised by mod discretion, not by wins or losses but by good rping from the showcase threads?
