Reckless training: rough fun and good company ?

Akane would look on a bit at Rebecca and she had to say that the girl was intimidating but she wasn't one to back down even if she was and more than that, if this was her cousins regular sparring partner then she couldn't really be acting all scared or anything like that, since the reason she even came to AFW was to surpass her cousin and rank amongst the high ranked fighters here.

Liana simply scoffed as she would walk up to the corner and step outside and look over at Laira for a few seconds before she would pat the girl on the shoulder, " You think we should go one on one or three on one ?" Liana said with a little ponderous look on her face, after which Laira would turn to her and then shrug a bit " Who knows? " Laira said as she would then raise her voice so that Rebecca could hear what she was about to say " But if we can't take her one on one I don't think she minds us switching it up to three on one, right Rebecca-san ?" Laira said with a little smile on her face as she would then step in between the ropes and move to the outside of the ring.

" Well, looks like I'm starting. " Akane said as she would place her hands on her hips and look Rebecca up and down, all before she would take a few steps back and then raise her hands up for a boxing stance, pouncing on her tippy toes as she would look on at Rebecca.

Rebecca nodded toward Akane as things looked like things were about to get started, the big amazon rolling her shoulders back before trying to get in quick to kick the boxer in the gut. One at a time or all at once, there were still three of them and the amazon needed to work fast if she was going to get anywhere at all.

Akane was ready for the match to start as she watched Rebecca get herself ready and soon enough she watched the big amazon step up and shoot her leg up to try and catch the boxing girl in her stomach, but with that Akane would jump back and try to avoid the kick only to then try and charge forward and then attempt to throw a quick jab right against Rebecca's solar plexus and try to catch her with her quick speedy attacks.

Rebecca wasn't too surprised when Akane dodged her kick, the amazon wasn't known for her speed out of the gate, and the faster boxer easily outmanoeuvred her. What she was surprised with was how quickly her friend's cousin struck back, that fast jab registered with a grunt of pain. Her breathing stopped for a second allowing the boxer to get back out of range.

Despite the size difference between the two, Akane's punches still stung. Maybe it was because she'd hit a weak-point just above her rock solid abs, right on the solar plexus but she used to be able to just make those kinds of shots not do anything even from the hardest of punchers. She had definitely slipped down a few notches in toughness it seemed, or everyone was just that much better at dealing it out and she'd failed to keep up.

Akane would look on a second as Rebecca as she would then jump out of range from the girl and then start bouncing on her tippy toes again, checking out Rebecca for a few seconds before she would speak, " Don't worry about it. My punches are probably the strongest you've ever felt. So If you can take a shot and still stand. Then you must be pretty strong." Akane said as she was almost trying to reassure Rebecca of something, as what she was thinking was written all over the Amazon's face.

" Come on already ! Stop dancing Akane and actually fight !" Liana shouted out to the girl as she was leaning against the ropes as if she was trying to use the ropes as a pillow for her head. Laira on the other hand stood there watching calmly and quietly.

Rebecca scowled somewhat at Akane's re-enforcement that she was that tough. "I've felt tougher." She said back, trying to shrug it off as though it was just the surprise that staggered the amazon. Still, waiting for Akane to dive in for another fly-by shot, she'd charge forward, even if it meant taking a punch, trying to body-check the boxer

Akane looked on as Rebecca started to run at her and with that Akane would try something a bit more powerful when it came to a punch as she would wait for Rebecca and would attempt and jump up when the girl came to try and hit her with a jumping uppercut to her chin, thought even if it slowed the girl down, she wouldn't be able to stand up to the girl's body slamming into hers which would down Akane quite well onto the mat.

"GAH!" Rebecca yelled as Akane's uppercut snapped her head back just before her body rammed into the boxer, sending her down to the mat. The amazon would have loved to capitilize, but that punch really rocked her, forcing her to stagger forward into the ropes. Rubbing her jaw as she held herself up on the ropes.

Akane shook her head as she was down like and soon enough though she would roll over onto her front and get up, Rebecca's legs not being all to far away she would see them quite clearly as the boxing girl moved up to her feet and would attempt to quickly move in and attack Rebecca's back, with a swift attempt to try and move in and throw up two punches towards Rebecca's kidneys and try to put a bit more hurt on the larger tanned woman.

Rebecca winced as Akane got straight back on the offensive, giving the amazon little chance to do anything more than act as a sturdy heavy bag for the boxer. Reaching back, she tried to grab her sparring opponent by the arm, just to force her to try and attack her face to face instead of constantly darting around her like a hornet.
