Kurai vs. Songbird

As soon as Songbird would get her hands off of her face from rubbing it to regain focus, she would see Kurai rush in to get closer. Then, she felt one big punch to her stomach. "GUH!" she cried out as so much wind was knocked out of her. Holding onto her stomach in pain, Songbird would drop to her knees and cough to try and breathe.

"Now for the finisher!" Kurai said as she stepped forward, trying to pull Songbird up to her feet, so that she could land one more punch to the stomach before she bowed quickly to Songbird. From that position she would attempt to explode, striking her left elbow into Songbird's ribcage, while her right fist connected with Songbird's temple, bringing her to the ground using a variation of her finisher: "Bow to Buddha" From there she would go for a pin, hoping her opponent was beaten enough, seeing as that had taken most of her leftover energy.

Songbird was immediately pulled back up to her feet as she was still trying to breathe. From there, she received another punch to the stomach before trying to guard her ribcage from the next blow. "GUH!" she cried out as the wind was getting knocked out of her more, but it wasn't long before there was one more punch to her head. "AAH!" she exclaimed as she immediately fell to the ground, holding her head and stomach in pain.

Kurai would then go for a pin to secure a victory for the match. Songbird can only try to breathe as she felt as if she's about to pass out.

Kurai had been able to hit Songbird at last, she had managed to capitalize on a moment of weakness in Songbird. After nailing the "Bow to Buddha" Songbird finally collapsed. Kurai almost collapsed on top of Songbird, adrenaline fading, she had almost been beaten by this girl a few times. "1!!! 2!! 3!!" the ref shouted as the match concluded, getting up panting, she would offer a hand to her opponent. "Gr-great match." she sighed trying to help Songbird up.

Songbird would smile weakly in spite of her pains as Kurai helped her back up. She would give a little bit of a hug of good sportsmanship as she replied, "You did good, Kurai. *Ugh* I've never seen such power from a fighter like you before. You probably have what it takes to be in this league." She would then think a moment and said, "Say, how would you like it if I treat you out for some ice cream as a reward?"

Kurai smiled back at Songbird, and hugged her back. "Thank you, that means a lot. You were really fun to fight!" Kurai smiled at her helping Songbird till she was on her feet. "That sounds just great." She said smiling in earnest.

VICTOR: KURAI NIKUSHIMA

Songbird was still hurting, but was glad that Kurai was helping her out. "Well come on then, there's no time to waste! I'll pay for both of us." Songbird would smile as Kurai had won her first match and also made a new friend in the league.

Kurai blushed a little bit at that, "No, that's ok, I can help pay." she said politely. From there she would head out with a beaming smile on her face, now that she had won a new friend.

"Alright then," said Songbird getting up to her feet. "Let's get moving!" And with that, she would join Kurai in walking out of the ring and spend time together as new friends.
