Kurai vs. Songbird

Songbird managed to get some good hits, but the rest were simply blocked by Kurai. After several more seconds, she would get off and give her opponent a bit of a breather to recover. Songbird would roll one arm back and then the other to relax from the punches a little before facing Kurai again. This was already the beginning of the match and it was becoming quite intense from the moment the first attack was dealt.

Kurai had no choice but to lay there and take it, and Songbird peppered her with punches. She felt her opponent get off and she was glad to feel the reprieve. She got up a little slowly, her arms pretty sore from the beating, but she was absolutely beaming, her opponent was giving an amazing fight! "This is the kind of match I love! Thank you so much!" Kurai would say happily. She would give her opponent time to respond, then she launched forward once more, she could feel her battle reflexes waking up at last. She dropped to the right immediately after charging, trying to get behind Songbird and sweep her knees with her left foot. If successfull, Kurai would attempt to jump up and land on her back, crushing the air from her lungs.

Songbird would smile and reply, "You're welcome, I'm loving this match myself already." She would watch Kurai rise up from the mat and bring back some strength to herself. With that, she got back in her fighting stance and waited for her opponent to come and get her. Kurai began to charge and Songbird was ready for a punch as she came in close, but then Kurai would get behind her and sweep her knees with her left foot. Songbird instantly fell on her back and saw that her opponent was already going in to jump and land on her back on top of her. At that moment, Songbird would try to roll out of the way or else she'll get the air knocked out of her.

Kurai had tricked Songbird pretty well with her manuever, and she felt the sweep bring her to the mat. Kurai would try to follow up by jumping on her, but Songbird was not to be taken lightly, and she rolled away leaving Kurai to fall on her soft butt. "Oww.." She complained, quickly rubbing her butt, slightly stunned, she would try to get up, hopefully Songbird would attempt the same instead of capitalizing on her mistake.

Songbird was glad that she was able to roll out of the way before Kurai can get the drop on her. As Kurai got up, Songbird would attempt to grab her and throw her over to the turnbuckle. If she did, she would try to follow her in a charge before ramming herself into her opponent against the turnbuckle. This would be a good move to turn things over to her side.

Kurai Wished she hadnt missed with the drop, and to her dismay, Songbird followed up immediately, by grabbing her and throwing her to the turnbuckle. "Gahh!" Kurai yelled in pain, as Songbird charged again, ramming into her body. She slumped a little, and tried to use the ropes for support to keep standing, her dazed state left her wide open for Songbird's next move.

Songbird's turnbuckle combo had proven to be quite effective and Kurai was already in a dazed state. This was definitely an opportunity to get the upper hand once more and she had to make it count. Grabbing at Kurai's legs, she would try to pull her opponent away from the turnbuckle and the ropes so she can drag her to the center of the ring. If she did, she would also try to put her opponent's legs under her armpits and turn her over onto her stomach to sit on her back and apply a boston crab.

Kurai groaned as Songbird grabbed her legs, a terribly dangerous move in any other situation, but perfectly safe right now, as Kurai's thoughts were fuzzy and hazed from the slams against the turnbuckle. She felt herself be dragged into the center of the ring, and yelped in weak protest as Songbird applied the Boston Crab. "AGHH!" Kurai yelled, the pain serving as an effective wake-up slap. She tried to weakly wiggle her legs free from Songbird's grasp, as she knew this was a very bad situation. She was trying not to scream in earnest, her back not enjoying the excersize at all.

Songbird got Kurai into the submission and Kurai was already starting to feel the pressure. Songbird felt her opponent's legs wiggling weakly to try and break free, but still she would maintain her hold. She would then ask her, "Having a good stretch there, Kurai? It's good for your back and legs. You want to submit?" If Kurai didn't submit, then Songbird would release her from the submission.

Kurai gritted her teeth as Songbird continued her hold. She flushed in anger when Songbird asked if she would submit, "N-no way!" she gasped out, wasting energy she could've used to escape. However it turned out it wasn't necessary, as Songbird released her, lettting her flop to mat. After taking a few breaths, Kurai would try to roll up to her feet, and ignore the pain in her back. She wasn't in a position to start attacking so she took defensive stance, waiting for her opponent's move.
