Kurai vs Heather Sunderland

Kurai was absolutely estatic, she was facing Heather Sunderland, a well-known wrestler in AFW! She couldnt wait to have a match with someone that good. In fact, she almost sprinted out of her changing room in excitement instead of her usual stroll when "Indestrucible by Disturbed" began to play. Calming herself slighty, she walked about halfway down to the ring before she exploded from excitement and sprinted and jumped into the ring. She got into her corner practically twitching in anticpation, waiting for her opponent to show up.

When hearing that she was going to be facing off against another newer member of the roster, Heather's mind immediately went to her recent match in Tension against another newcomer there. She would let out a little sigh, hoping that her opponent tonight wasn't going to be like he was, though in turn she was a little excited. She was always one to like to show the newer members how it's done, showcasing her skills and letting them know what it's like to face 'the best' in her eyes.

Soon, Heather's new theme, "For the Heart I Once Held" by Nightwish would play over the speakers, the lights turning a blue tint as Heather stepped out onto the stage area, dressed in her usual attire, her long purple coat over her black bikini top and black baggy pants. She would stand surrounded in the green laser lights that shot out from the entrance, met with a mixed reaction as she made her way down the ring. Coming off a loss to Karina Rine, Heather was looking to get herself back on track as much as she could.

Heather would make her way down near the ring and slide in underneath the bottom rope, grinning over at Kurai as she looked her over. Heather knew, by now, not to judge by appearance, but the girl did seem pretty toned and ready, making Heather glad to know that she wasn't some random thinking they could make it big. She seemed like she could compete.

"Hope you came prepared. You're about to face a future Friction champion."

Kurai jumped up from her corner when her opponents entrance began, she knew this was the begining of an amazing match. Kurai was tempted to cheer, listening to the crowd's mixed reaction, didn't they know a good match when they saw one? Heather walked to the ring and stepped in grinning as she Kurai over. Then she told Kurai to be prepared, and Kurai just flashed a big smile "Of course I came prepared! That'll make this more fun, the better the opponent, the better the match. I'm Kurai, it's an honor to meet you in the ring Mrs. Sunderland" Kurai would say as she held out her hand.

Seeing Kurai's reaction to her words and being there, Heather would be slightly taken back, not getting much of that from anyone. Her words made Heather's grin grow wider afterwards though, feeling quite good about them as she would decide to take the girl's hand, shaking it. "Seems like you have good taste. Ah..and it's..Ms Sunderland..Though I get where you'd make the mistake, lots of people still would." Heather would let out, shrugging a bit before she would shake her head.

"No matter about that. Let's do this." Heather would say before she would let go of the shake, stepping back before the bell would ring. If the girl knew who she was, seeing it as an honor, then Heather was going to showcase her style right from the start and give this girl her best. The second the bell would ring, Heather would charge back towards her, trying to leap up and hit her with an enziguri.

Kurai was happy to she her opponent's grin widen, but she would blush in slight embarrasment "O-oh, I'm sorry!" Then Heather shook Kurai's hand and the formalities ended. They both stepped back, and the bell rang signaling the match to commence. Heather was clearly not taking this easy, as she launched forward trying to catch Kurai in the back of the head. Kurai, not wanting to disappoint her opponent, nor start the match off badly will attempt to bring up her arm to block the blow, while allowing the momentum to let her body turn so she could go for a backkick right away.

As Heather would leap up to hit the enziguri, she would find herself just connecting with the girl's arm, not nearly getting the effect that she wanted. She would land the move, trying to quickly get back up to her feet before she would feel the girl's backkick suddenly collide with her, causing her to let out a pained grunt, stumbling a bit before she would quickly try to move away from the girl. Her quick counter was certainly a surprise and Heather would blink a few times before grinning again.

"Not bad.." Heather would let out before charging the girl again, however this time she would spin past her, heading towards the ropes where she would leap up onto them, trying to leap off and try to connect with a springboard moonsault on the standing Kurai.

Kurai smiled as the kick was blocked, and she felt her backkick hit its mark. Heather had a slight pause as she moved away and then she smiled. At her comment, Kurai said "Thanks!" as Heather charged again. Kurai had been expecting a similar attack , and thrusted out an arm, only to see Heather spin behind her. Turning slowed down her reaction time, and she grunted as her opponent back flipped onto her. "Uggh.." she groaned in temporary complaint.

Jumping through the air with her springboard, Heather could feel the usual rush that went through her as she did these types of moves that she loved. The adrenaline ran through her as she came crashing down on Kurai, taking her to the ground with her moonsault. She would let out a little satisfied sigh before readjusting herself, trying to straddle the girl's stomach.

"Enjoying?" Heather would let out before throwing her legs up, trying to wrap them around the girl's head before falling to the side, attempting to get her into a headscissors hold.

Kurai had had this problem before, it seemed high-flying moves cause a bit of a problem, something she made a mental note to work on, even as Heather crashed down on her. She groaned from the impact, but there would be no rest, as after a quick comment, Heather would go to lock her into a headscissor. Kurai would try to get her right arm inbetween the hold to hopefully push away Heather's leg. "Haah...Haah, not particularly" she would laugh lightly.

"Haha, well I guess that makes sense" Heather would let out as she went into trying to lock the girl in her scissors. Unfortunately for her, Kurai was thinking quickly and would put her arm up to get it in between her legs. Because of this, Heather wasn't able to fully lock in the scissor hold, causing her to roll away from the girl, getting back up onto her feet as she would bring her hands up.

"Your turn." Heather would say with a grin, going on the defensive as she actually wanted to see what Kurai would do on the offensive instead.
