Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard] - Page 5 Empty Re: Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard]

As Jinx got to her feet, Rio was doing much the same, coming up into a charge straight at her. The feline fighter continued to back up until she hit the ropes hard, springing back to run towards the train that was the Berserk wrestler. Rather than meeting her head on and testing her luck in this game of chicken, the agile girl jumped up, kicking her legs out wide to the side to do a clean split in the air to leapfrog over top of Rio and let her pass underneath of Jinx.

She came down lightly with her carried momentum, continuing to run forward and away from Rio in another full on retreat. She wasn't worried about launching an impressive offense. She had filed the other woman up something fierce, her goal now was to outlast her. There was only so much steam in that engine, eventually the other woman would start to burn out and then she could get back on the offensive.

She slowed her pace just slightly, looking back over her shoulders to see if the other woman was still chasing, making sure that if she was that she gave the woman enough time to get close before moving to the ropes again where she had options if needed to initiate another acrobatic maneuver.

Jinx fled from her, which was to be expected. After all, she would be utterly gunned-down if she deemed it a good idea to connect with Rio while she was in motion. In fact, she backed up SO much, she ended up bending into the ropes, using their elasticity to SPRING off them and RIGHT at the much bigger and now faster woman! Something was wrong here... As much of a loud-mouthed idiot Jinx was... she couldn't have been stupid enough to try and play CHICKEN with her! If she tried, she would end up being steamrolled, TRAMPLED! No amount of flexibility would save her from being crushed like that...

So she was going to dodge... She had to... There was nothing else she could really do!

...and wouldn't you know it...

Jinx JUMPED right OVER Rio as she moved in for the tackle, her legs extending out to either side her butt flying JUST over Rio's head... as the white-haired fighter ROCKETED towards the ropes! Luckily, with her hands out in front of her, she managed to catch the middle ropes before she slammed into the DEAD on, stopping her momentum... slightly. Just as they had done with Jinx, the ropes QUICKLY repelled Rio off of them, sending her recoiling at a portion of her previous speed! Stumbling back from the Ring's boarders, Rio would turn around to face her foe... spotting that she was moving towards the ropes again...

"Damn her..."
Rio hissed breathlessly, a sheen of sweat starting to coat her skin. "She can't run forever..."

Charging clearly didn't work... Check that off the list. What else was there...? Taking a more cautious approach, Rio would slowly begin to stalk Jinx, moving in at a cautious but consistent pace, arms raised in preparation for attack or defense. Her movements were growing sloppy, her stance in the beginning stages of breaking down... Rio couldn't afford to be reckless... Not anymore.

Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard] - Page 5 Empty Re: Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard]

Once it was clear her opponent wasn't trying to run her down a second time, her run became a leisurely not to the ropes. By the time she had reached them, most of her momentum and been lost but she still hopped up to the second rope, playfully springing off it to turn herself back around to land facing Rio making no effort to lunge or attack. It seemed the other woman was slowing down now. She wasn't sure if it was because the silver haired wrestler was gassed or just being cautious though.

She extended her arms up, making a lazy show of stretching with a bored yawn. Another baiting tactic entirely as her eyes remained keenly on Rio, ready to respond to any surge of aggression. So far this had proven pretty effective. If the other woman continued to move carefully and defensively, the feline fighter would slowly circle herself away from the ropes, mindful to not allow herself to get pinned in.

There was a temptation to lock up and face Rio down, to throw away all of this strategy and just match muscles with her. She knew it was folly though. She had felt just how hard the woman hit and knew if she willingly walked into that she was going to be thrown around like a rag doll. No thanks. The few good shots she had taken were enough to deter her from making any rash moves.

Her arms came up defensively, open palms facing outward, ready to intercept a wayward punch and try to swat it away. Bobbing lightly on the balls of her feet again, adopting her more offensive stance, ready to cut off an approach with her long legs. She inched in a bit, snapping out a quick feint with her foot, looking as if she was going for the same leg she had targeted all match. It withdrew quickly, becoming her pivot point to whirl around with a sharp high roundhouse kick to try and catch Rio upside the head. If she was lucky maybe even her temple.

Jinx had dictated the pace of this match for it's entire duration and now wouldn't be any different. Specifically, the rhythm of the fight was being manipulated by the cat-girl as if she were a maestro of music, controlling how fast the battle was, when she could leave to regroup, only sustaining a few, if damaging, hits along the way. Her superior speed and maneuverability vexed the stronger, more durable Rio to the point she was simply unable to compensate. She had grown tired simply chasing Jinx around the ring, her attacks being a meaningless use of her energy while her opponents landed critical and powerful shots, returning her investment and THEN some! Her arrogance at the start had cost her DEEPLY throughout the course of the fight and Jinx was just living it up, letting Rio destroy herself with her bad decisions...

For example... Continuing to approach Jinx while she was in control...

Rio's shoddy defense and her tendency to follow Jinx's rhythm would be her downfall, believing that she could predict her opponent's moves. It was a stupid and simple trick, one Rio would curse until the end of her days... A stupid, SIMPLE faint that should've been easily predictable... and Rio took it at face-value... and got kicked in her face as a damn result.

With her guard lowered to intercept the fake kick aimed at her leg, her upper body was completely exposed as Jinx brought that foot RIGHT back around, SLAMMING into the side of Rio's head in a BRUTAL roundhouse! Like Jinx just hit the "power-down" button, Rio's energy drained fast, her arms dropping to her side, her legs shaking and trembling, her eyes dimming of the fiery light that once rested inside. Rio collasped onto her knees... then onto her back, her eyes fluttering shut as she took hard gasp after hard gasp. her face gradually scrunching up in pain as the initial shock of the blow began to wear off.

Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard] - Page 5 Empty Re: Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard]

Jinx had tried to set the pace of the match and train her opponent to do what she wanted. A match full of her keeping a smart distance and taking pot shots was a good setup for a feint… but that required someone to take note of those things. It was like a game of chess. If Rio had simply been q big dumb bruiser, she likely never would have thought to try to counter the low kick… but she had hopped it once before, the trick was getting her to do it again and punish her for the trainer behavior.

The sting in her foot as she hit Rio's skull was a good sign, feeling the weight of the impact as she bent the woman's meaty neck to the side. She nearly "squeed" with delight as Rio crumpled to the mat, looking closely to the stiffened limbs and shaking that came with a knock out blow. She had scored one of those in the independent scene and it had been terrifying to watch… Rio was a larger and nastier woman though so she had no real issues with it here. It seemed as though the veteran was still awake though. Shoot.

With a childlike goes she drop d herself down to the mat near Rio's chest, grabbing a handful of the woman's hair to roughly yanked her head up just enough to slip her legs around it. It was a purposeful choice to use this move after nearly being caught with it herself. Giving a hard squeeze, she rolled her body over, trying to flop the veteran over onto her chest as well.

With one hand she shoved off the mat, holding herself up pushup style as her legs tucked in, closing tighter around Rio's throat. Reaching back with her free hand, she gripped her ankle, trying to lock in her finisher, The Cat's Meow. If  she managed to lock it in, she would twist her hips, bending Rio up and back to strain the woman's neck and back with torturous pressure.

She had made a promise. She wanted Rio to tap. She wanted to hear her scream Jinx's name. So that is exactly what she would do. The feline fighter, in a move of ruthless aggression, would tighten her claws on her opponent and continue to crank on her hold until both things came to be, even if the match had ended. "Say my name! I want everyone to hear it, even in the nosebleed seats!"

Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard] - Page 5 Empty Re: Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard]

Post by Cicilia Thu Oct 31, 2019 12:01 pm

The predator had become the prey as Jinx had practically kicked the living DAYLIGHTS out of Rio, the woman flopped out completely on the floor and seemingly defeated! If the cat so chose, she could've likely pinned Rio right there and scored a quick and painless win, allowing her to leave with satisfying victory knowing that she overcame a powerful and confident foe.

...But no, Jinx was far more... conceited than that... There was more than one battle going on here and the dark-skinned feline was more than eager to win BOTH! Rio's eyes fluttered open as she felt Jinx grab hold of her hair, the woman letting out a low HISS as her head was JERKED up into an almost half-upright position! Like a pair of jaws going in for the death-bite, the acrobatic kitty LOCKED her legs around Rio's neck and throat, PUSHING herself off the ground for additional leverage in a sort of head-scissor/camel-clutch combination that almost COMPLETELY blocked off the white-haired woman's air-way! Her amber eyes shot WIDE with panic, her body, even still slow and sluggish after being knocked the FUCK out, REARED back into gear with a well-timed adrenaline rush, Rio's purple-padded hands SHOOTING up to clutch at the limbs that had snagged her!

Soft, gasping chokes escaped from her lips as Rio's already tan face began to fall into deeper and deeper shades of blush, the blood in her face circulating FASTER and FASTER in a desperate attempt to keep the oxygen flowing! The Ref, who watched them, stood off the the side with an expression of.... anxiousness, the severity of Jinx's hold seeming to raise concern in the official. She seemed to know that Rio wasn't getting out of this... not now... This was the end for her.

...But Rio was stubborn. Rio was arrogant. She wasn't going to give up because this girl wanted her too! ...And the biggest insult of all was that she wanted Rio to grovel... to BEG for freedom by screaming her name... BULLSHIT! She'd rather be choked into unconsciousness first and retain a SCRAP of dignity! Despite the feeling her head was going to be POPPED off her shoulders, despite the air in her lungs fading into uselessness with each passing second... and despite Jinx SCREAMING at her to submit the way SHE wanted... Rio only smirked, the focus in her eye a dull shadow of what it once was.

"Or what...?" She answered, her hands beginning to slack off of Jinx's legs and off to the side. "Go to hell.... kitty..."

...and with that... Rio's body fell away completely, her eyes fluttering shut... unconscious.

Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard] - Page 5 Empty Re: Bewitching a Berserker: Jinx vs Rio [Standard]

"Say it." Jinx demanded in a low growl, dropping the spectacle to speak to Rio directly. It wasn't really about embarrassing the other woman, it was about gaining the recognition she had earned. Since she came here all she wanted was everyone to know that she was a serious fighter, that she was one of the best, and all of that had been tarnished the instant she called out to a cheerleader screwing her… literally. She twisted her hips, having trouble keeping her body upright now with the angle of the hold cranked to the limit.

"Say it…" She huffed, a hint of desperation in her eyes. She could feel the resistance fading, knew that surrender was imminent. It was only a matter of time before Rio passed out or tapped. Why wouldn't she just say her name? Recognize her as an equal or better? She was winning, she was the better wrestler! Why wouldn't she say her name! "Just say it!"

The referee called for the bell once it was apparent Rio was gone, unable to continue as she passed out within Jinx's hold. The feline fighter continued though, giving the woman a harsh shake and squeeze in her hold, trying in vain to jar her awake. "You stupid- say it! Say it! Say it! Acknowledge me!  I'm right here!"

The official was shouting at her, kneeling down to try and pry the other woman loose. Trainers and staffers from the back were starting to sprint down the ramp to help break things up as well. It didn't come to that though, the demons possessing Kind to throttle her lifeless opponent suddenly snapped away in a moment of clarity which saw her dropping herself and Rio down to the mat and setting the other woman free.

Turning over onto her backside, she curled her knees up to her chest, breathing heavily as she looked at what she had just done, lip quivering. She could hear the road from the crowd. It was a mixed affair. Boos for her poor sportsmanship, cheers for her dominant victory, and a lot of catcalls and requests for her to take her top back off. Jinx only stared at Rio, whispering softly to herself. "Why couldn't you just have said it… huh? Why?" She didn't sound angry, just sad.

Quietly she pushed herself up, looking out across the area. She should have been basking in this moment, living it up. This was a big win for her after all. With a small tired huff she raised her arm up herself, the referee wasn't even there to make it feel official. They were checking on Rio instead, leaving her to do it alone. She slowly turned on her heel, giving the Berserk wrestler one more glance before slipping from the ring to head back up the ramp.
