Second Chances (for RadiantKarna)

Lying on her back, her fur-clad chest gently rising and falling, Risako tried to muster the willpower to move, but just couldn't. Her back throbbed with dull pain, a ringing was sounding in her ears, and her body simply would not respond. Maybe this was it, a thought crept into her mind: maybe she was going to lose this match after all. Seeing Priscilla standing over her, taunting down at her, Risako involuntarily flinched at the taunt.

The words bit deeper than she thought they would. Disappointing...expected more...

A second later, Risako was rolled over, and before she knew it, she Priscilla was arching over her, twisting her legs and wrenching back on her chin in a Muta lock. "Ah...AHHHH!" she screamed, her arms immediately pawing at Priscilla's as her body was bent to an almost extreme degree, the pain in her spine growing worse worse each second.

Stifling her scream by biting her teeth down, Risako breathed through her nostrils as she tried to dig her elbows into the mat and pull them closer to the ropes...but given the sheer distance, there was no way she would get there in time before the pain became overwhelming...

Muta lock was an impressive hold and could be an effective hold to draw a submission out of someone, but it also could put a strain on a wrestler's body, and it couldn't be kept too long. When Risako started moving despite her screaming out in pain, Priscilla clicked her tongue in annoyance, knowing that the hold couldn't be kept for too long. She tried to pull harder, hoping to get the former Wrestle Angel to tap out from this, but she could tell that it was just a futile attempt.

"Ngh... c-can't you just stay still and give up while you still have the chance?" Priscilla growled, her arms growing weaker by each passing second, and before Risako could reach the ropes, she was forced to finally relinquish the hold, letting go of Risako's chin and getting herself off of her. Feeling the strain from the hold on her arms, Priscilla would roll herself over, getting on her hands and knees, shaking her head in annoyance. She would let Risako reach the ropes as she tried to recollect herself.

The crowd was watching in amazement as Priscilla locked in the Muta hold, admiring the way her slender body arched over Risako even as the Queen of Queens, in turn, was bent by her hold. The pain for Risako was incredible, and she felt very close to tapping-- if not giving up-- at several points. Somehow, though, something drove her to keep moving, to keep pushing forward despite the pain she was in.

And then, suddenly, the hold was broken. Letting out a relieved gasp, Risako flopped onto her front, barely moving as her hair former a purple halo around her. Her back was a throbbing mass of pain, and she could barely move her limbs.

A part of her wanted to just give up right here and now. After, all, her glory days were gone, and never coming back...not that she deserved to win again after the way she had treated Kishima and Suzumi. And yet...if she really felt that way, why was she still fighting?

Priscilla looked at the writhing form of Risako on the mat, clearly displeased with how uninteresting she had become. Standing over her, she would shake her head and say, "How pitiful. This is how it ends, Panther Risako. Your legacy ends now. Your time is up." Then, she would bend down, grabbing her by her head and arm, pulling her up. "I suppose it's about time we really end this. This is the least I can do for you..." she said, forcefully pulling Risako up, getting her back on her feet.

And then, Priscilla would pull Risako's head down, making her double over so that she could clamp her head between her thighs. Disappointed in her or not, Priscilla believed that Risako deserved a proper burial, allowing her go out with a bang. That's the least she could do to someone who was nothing but a shadow of her former self. And what else would be more suitable for a coup de grâce than a powerbomb? It was a move that Priscilla would set up on her opponent.

Risako heard Priscilla's mockery as she lay on her front. She was right, of course: Risako's glory days were gone. She had to accept the fact that she wasn't the Queen of Queens any more, that that was a title that had died along with the old league. She didn't belong here, not in the AFW, not in this completely new roster with so much talent that...well, let's face, were better than her by far. And this match just proved it.

She felt her head being grabbed, and then she was pulled woozily to her feet. Even as Risako fought to maintain her balance, she felt Priscilla bending her over, pressing her head in between her legs. Risako knew what was coming next. She knew that it would be game over. She knew that she was too weak to stop it at this point. It was over for her now.

Just as thought this, however, and as Priscilla's thighs clamped around her head, she realized she heard something in the background: somehow, and for some reason, the fans were chanting her name.

"RI-SA-KO! RI-SA-KO! RI-SA-KO! RI-SA-KO!"

She had no idea why they were cheering for her all of a sudden, but it had an effect all the same. Newfound determination flooded Risako's limbs. As Priscilla's thighs clamped around her head, Risako gritted her teeth, summoned all her strength, and lifted, forcing herself to stand upright and lift her opponent off the mat!

If she managed that, then it would be a simple matter of dropping back down again, aiming to use her opponent's own move against her to slingshot her back-first into the mat!

Priscilla thought that she could finally make it. She would be well-known as the one to bury Panther Risako's career right after defeating her. It would be a great privilege to have, something that many would envy. But, the crowd cheered for the battered Angel, their voices echoing all over the arena. Scowling a little, she was looking forward to silence them the moment Risako was finally defeated.

But, the cheers from the fans had renewed Risako's strength, and before Priscilla could pull her up for a powerbomb, she was suddenly lifted off the mat, causing her to squeal out in surprise. "Aaah!!" And then, she was brought back down onto the canvas, back first. "UURGGHH!!" Priscilla's world shook as she was slammed hard before she ended up sprawling on the canvas, bewildered beyond belief. Right at the moment when she thought that it was the end for Risako, she suddenly turned this match around. Her chest heaved up and down, panting a little after being brought crashing down.

The mat crashed around Risako as she dropped onto her butt, left breathing hard after executing that powerful move. Lifting Priscilla up like that and then simply slinging her down to the mat again had taken a lot of exertion, but the results spoke for themselves-- her Welsh opponent lay sprawled on her back, stunned by having her own move turned around so effectively on her. Around them, the crowd was going wild, cheering Risako's sudden and overwhelming comeback.

Risako didn't know what to make of it at first-- the cheers, the applause, or where her newfound confidence was suddenly coming from. All she knew was that the doubts she had been feeling at the start of this match were gone. She no longer felt lingering anger at herself for losing to Chris, or lingering guilt for hurting Suzumi and Kishima like she had, or even any of her thoughts of quitting. Now she just wanted to hurt someone.

Glaring at Priscilla, Risako brushed the hair from her face and stood back up. Instead of attacking her downed foe, however, she instead circled Priscilla, looking very much at that moment like her namesake stalking its prey. "Get up," she growled.

Priscilla was very confused. One moment, she was dominating her opponent, and the next, her opponent managed to turn this match around, and now she was on her back, blinking in bewilderment. Her body was in pain from being slammed down earlier, and she would try to roll over. But, before she could do that, Risako had circled around her and told her to get up. Grunting, she got on her side before pushing herself up, getting on her knees.

"Heh... so, you're getting serious?" Priscilla asked as she would get on her feet, a little wobbly due to her still stunned from the slam earlier. She gave Risako a grin, feeling ecstatic now that she would be able to fight Risako who was at her fullest. This would mean defeating her would mean something. "Good... this is what I'm waiting for..." she said as she would look at Risako, preparing herself to launch herself at her.

Clenching her fist, she would try to deliver a forearm smash right at Risako's breasts, hoping to catch her off-guard so that she could follow up with a more devastating move!

The crowd were on the edge of their seats now. Right when things had been looking truly bad for Risako, it was as though a switch had suddenly gone off: whereas before she had seemed to be fighting only half-heartedly, and practically eating all of Priscilla's moves, now her demeanour and stance had changed. Now she seemed not only ready, but all willing to fight and win against Priscilla as she stood there, daring her opponent to get back up. To a lot of Wrestle Angel fans in the audience, this was the Panther Risako that they knew. The Queen of Queens had returned.

She continued to glare at Priscilla as the other girl got back up to her feet. With a sudden rush, Priscilla launched herself at her with a forearm chop...

Faster than the audience or even Priscilla could register, Risako raised an arm and caught Priscilla by the wrist with one hand, stopping the blow in its tracks mere inches from her chest. Her eyes never left Priscilla's as she held girl's wrist in an iron grip, giving it a tight and rather painful squeeze.

"That's all you get," she said quietly. "You get no other chances in this match."

So saying, she kick Priscilla hard in the gut before spinning around, grabbing the back of her head and running forward, aiming leap foreward and nail her hard with a brainbuster!

Priscilla's eyes widened when Risako caught her wrist, stopping her attempted forearm smash. The former Angel was totally different compared to before, and the difference was almost frightening. Priscilla tried to pull her hand back, but the iron grip of her opponent made it hard for her to do so. And Risako's words sent a chill up her spine.

And before she could even react to it, Risako sent a kick right into her gut, causing Priscilla to sputter, doubling over before the Queen of Queens spun around, grabbing the back of Priscilla's head and running forward, nailing her hard into the mat with a painful brainbuster!

"MRRGHHH!!" Priscilla's world practically shook from the impact. She ended up on the mat, groaning and writhing as she clutched her throbbing head, becoming an easy picking for her opponent.
