Cammy White vs Sonya Blade

So I watched the latest episode of Death Battle and was thinking about the next match up. Cammy White from Street Fighter will be fighting Mortal Kombat's Sonya Blade.

Now both women are not strangers to fighting, but based on what they've down in their games or other media, who do you will win in a fight to the death?

I want to say Cammy White right now.

I don't know what criteria they are using, but I think Sonya takes it. She is capable of having multiple ribs broken in one go (x-ray moves) and keeping on. Cammy is not much of a fighter in her universe (she is like C or B tier according to the movie it seems), and although Sonya is about the same her universe is far more serious.

My gut tells me Sonya. But Death Battle has proved me wrong before with their countless anime battles.

I would say Sonya ought to win it but, well, Death Battle seemingly had a reputation for either ignoring evidence or just misrepresenting characters' abilities when it suits. So, who knows?

ESPECIALLY when it comes to any battle involving anime characters.

I would be very surprised if Cammy won.

The Street Fighter franchise is, I believe, 1-4 in DB total, with only Zangief pulling out a win.

In terms of Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat characters, SF is 0-2

MK characters are simply more overwhelmingly powerful than most SF characters, and Sonya is generally more experienced and has beaten stronger opponents, while Cammy...Well, I love Cammy, but she's basically Street Fighters punching bag at this point. She's kept around to lose to the new girls (C. Viper, Juri, both who dominate in fights against her) and be a general punching bag to guys like Vega. Her job is to lose fights so that Chun Li and Guile don't have to.

I would be VERY surprised if Cammy pulled this off.

Im with Sonya, she faces a wider array of of lethal enemies and while she hasnt survived all of it she has proven to go toe to toe with them.

Logically, Sonya should win.

Which means that Cammy will end up winning because Death Battle is hot garbage.
