AV 15 Entropy Title Match: Julia Rogers (C) Vs. Alaina Sanders (C)

Alaina bent down and pulled Julia up by the hair, she was riding a wave of adrenaline and the cheers from fans who appreciated her display of power! "Get up girlie..." Alaina growled as she kept hold of Julia's hair and drove a hard knee to Julia's mid-section! Alaina kept hammering, landing a quick punch to the face, and another hard body punch trying to smash Julia as her back was against the ropes. Right now the amazon was treating Julia like a glorified punching bag, a bag she wanted to smash so hard that it burst open!

Alaina took a step back, but quickly planted one foot and spun her other around, aiming a kick to the side of Julia's head! That was payback for the sliding dropkick that caused Alaina to bleed....

No rest for the weary. Julia was given almost no time after being slammed onto the mat before Alaina was grabbing her blonde locks and pulling her right back up. And almost as soon as she was back up, a knee blasted right into her stomach! “UGH!!” she gasped out, before a quick punch rocked her head back, and another smashed into her stomach. “Ngh!”

Only moments ago Julia had seemed to be in firm control of her foe, but now the Amazon was teeing off on her with one big hit after another. And Julia now found herself leaning into the ropes with her arms draped over the top rope, taking gasping breaths to try to gain back the wind that had just been blasted from her sails.

But before that could happen, Alaina spun, and a boot struck the side of Julia’s head with tremendous impact, and her body immediately dropped right to the mat! The crowd all cringed at the sight, but their sympathy wasn’t doing anything to silence the loud ringing filling Julia’s head right now...

Julia was down, but far from out. Alaina now had a dazed high flyer, and thus a chance to slow things down a bit. Alaina grabbed onto Julia's legs and dragged her into the center of the ring. Once they got to the center of the ring Alaina blew a kiss to the crowd and did a bit of a strut around Julia before once again grabbing at her legs....

Alaina had put in a lot of work on her submission skills, and a nice hearty figure-four leg lock was just what the amazon ordered. This would attack Julia's legs and slow the pace of the match all in one shot! As Alaina set the hold in place she applied pressure, and spread her arms wide to stabilize herself. She knew how to reverse this move and in turn did what she could to guard against it happening to her!

“Ugh...” Julia groaned as a hand moved over her aching head. She felt like she’d just taken a baseball bat to the skull. But unfortunately for her, there was nothing but even more pain in store for her immediate future.

Julia was dragged out to the center of the ring, where the floored cowgirl could only lie there nursing her head while the Amazon strutted around her, before her legs were tied up and the figure four was locked in. “Agh!!!” Julia cried out, and her body jolted up into a sitting position, or at least as close as it could, as a wave of continuous pain started to plague her legs. She tried rolling from side to side to turn it over, but Alaina had wisely established a good balance that would be hard to disrupt.

“Ngh! Shit!” Julia cursed. Knowing she wasn’t strong enough to roll Alaina over in this position, that essentially left her with one option: Get to the ropes!!!! So that’s exactly what she tried to do. Planting her arms against the mat, and grunting with each movement her body made, the cowgirl tried to start dragging herself and the Amazon on a loooooong, painful journey toward the ropes!

Alaina grunted as she exerted effort to keep the two right where they where. She needed to stay stable so she couldn't stop Julia's progress, only slow it down. Alaina kept the pressure up as she wanted to see Julia tap before they ever made it to the ropes!

"Just tap Julia! There's no way I am walking out of this arena without that belt! You have no idea what its like having everyone doubt that you can make it in the ring, everyone telling you that you shouldn't be a wrestler! I can't lose!" Alaina shouted out to Julia, not in anger or insult so much as in self-justification. Alaina knew that she wasn't a typical wrestler and that she let her emotions get the best of her far more than she should have. It didn't matter. Alaina wanted to be the best, plain and simple. She fell short of that so far in her career and in her mind this was it. Nothing was going to stop her from proving that she was a champion who belonged in the ring.

Slowly but surely, Julia started to drag herself and Alaina toward the ropes. And along the way, she listened to the Amazon’s demand - or rather, plea for her to submit. True, the cowgirl hadn’t entered wrestling with nothing but doubt surrounding her. Quite the opposite, in fact. Since childhood her parents had not only encouraged her to go into wrestling, but had groomed her for it. Still, she’d had to work damn hard to get where she had. So she could appreciate the struggle Alaina had endured to this point. But those last three words, that was what Julia took issue with.

“Yes...you can!” Julia retorted through grit teeth as she continued grunting and struggling toward the ropes. Those struggles Alaina had had didn’t make her invincible tonight. Nor did any of Julia’s sympathy for her mean she’d hand over the win tonight. After all, this was the biggest match of her career too. Despite going her entire first year with AFW undefeated, she’d won three different matches for the Entropy Championship and still wasn’t the undisputed champion. And this was her chance to legitimize everything she’d accomplished in that time.

“You have!” Julia continued as she drew closer and closer to the ropes, until they were just past her fingertips. “And..you...WILL!!” she shouted while throwing her arm out and grabbing onto the bottom rope. With that, she’d made her resolve tonight loud and clear, and secured a desperately needed rope break in the process.

As Julia grabbed the rope, Alaina let go of the hold immediately and backed off to allow Julia to get back to her feet. As much as Alaina wanted to win, she wanted to silence the doubters and do it right. There would be nothing to point at to make it appear to be an easy or cheap win. No "handicap triple threat match" so to speak.

Once Julia was up and ready, Alaina would waste no time moving in. She would force her way in and wrap Julia up around the waist, lifting her up and spinning. As soon as Alaina was facing away from the ropes she would bring Julia crashing down with a big spine buster! "Like hell I will!" Alaina shouted in reply as she laid across Julia's chest and hooked her leg to go for a pin!

"One!"

Despite the bad blood that had developed between Julia and Alaina in recent months, there was one thing the cowgirl loved about fighting her fellow dojo trainee tonight, and that was that there damn sure wasn’t going to be any foul play. Had this been another battle with Gwen, Julia almost undoubtedly would’ve had to hold onto that rope and endure the hold for the full duration of the ref’s five count. But with Alaina, that wasn’t the case. The hold was immediately released, and Julia wasted no time in using the ropes to help her climb to her feet, albeit slower and more unsteadily than she would’ve liked.

But as soon as she did, the Amazon was right back on the attack. And before Julia could ready any sort of defense she was lifted up, turned and slammed right down with a spinebuster! “Ugh!!” she shouted out before feeling Alaina’s weight settle over her chest, with a leg also being hooked in the process.

“Two...!” the ref called out. Julia was aching all over and winded, but she still had gas in the tank. And with a shout, she jolted a shoulder off the mat to break the count.

"Ugh... come on!" An exasperated Alaina mumbled as Julia kicked out! Alaina shook her head as she got to her feet, giving Julia a helping hand getting up that the cowgirl probably didn't want. Alaina hit her with a quick forearm to the chest and then lift her up, bringing her over to the turnbuckle! Alaina knew a nice move from the top of the turnbuckle would help her devastate Julia, and get her one big step closer to her first championship belt of any kind!

Alaina placed Julia in a sitting position up on top of the turnbuckle, and began to climb. She began to take hold of Julia as though she were about to do a superplex which is indeed what she had in mind! "Time to go for a nice little ride cowgirl..." Alaina said as she got herself in place to really take the fight to Julia!

Julia took a few much-needed breaths of fresh air once Alaina got off of her. But once again, she wasn’t given nearly as much as she would’ve liked, as the Amazon dragged her right back up to her feet. If one thing had become clear, it was that any moment of rest for her would have to be earned, because nothing would be given to her freely in that regard.

As soon as she was up, a grunt burst from the cowgirl’s lips as a forearm smacked into her chest. She was then again lifted up, but rather than being slammed down this time, she was carried over to the corner and seated up on the top turnbuckle. This was normally territory Julia was familiar and comfortable with. But as Alaina started climbing up, that comfort faded away real fast.

An arm wrapped around Julia’s neck, and she knew what the Amazon had in mind. Quickly she began to throw punches into Alaina’s stomach, just hoping to stun her enough to free her head. And if she could do that the luchadora would put her hands on Alaina’s head to keep her in place and steady the cowgirl as she stoodd up on the turnbuckle. Those in the crowd who hadn’t already risen to their feet in anticipation of what was coming began to do so. “Ya wanna go for a ride? Well giddy up!” And with that Julia leapt up, locked her legs around Alaina’s head, then shifted aside a bit and flipped backward, aiming to send the Amazon crashing out to the floor at ringside with a top rope hurricanrana!
